Not everything went fine
I had the tour today. Driver was very good, the guide Samir was also very good at the beginning, explaining the details, showing the maps (guides cannot get in with the tourists), pictures and everything. The tour to Abu Simbel was good until certain point. In the way to Abu Simbel and back, he tried to sell me other tours in Aswan as well, and I refused. The lunch included in my pack was not in restaurant, he gave me a bag with some food, already close to the hotel. While he went to buy this food, he left me in a spice shop, everything looked fine, good marketing. I bought some things, as I trusted him. When coming back, found lots of negative reviews of the place, they overcharge you and I don’t even know now if the products can be trusted anymore. Probably they are going to the garbage when I get home. I should give the worst score for this, but I give 2 for the driver, for the photos and for the explanation of the site at the beginning.

Our tour to Abu Simbel was absolutely fantastic—everything about it was perfect. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, well-organized, and memorable. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took genuine care to explain everything in such a clear, engaging, and respectful manner. You could really tell he was passionate about what he was sharing. The driver was equally wonderful—punctual, courteous, and made the journey comfortable and stress-free. We felt so well taken care of throughout. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area—it truly made our trip special!

So much fun
We had a private tour with food and a tour guide to Abu Simbel. Our driver, Mohammed, was the highlight of the experience. He drove 3 hours in the desert and showed us everything that we were seeing and, also, he answered every single question that we had about Egyptian people and culture. He treated us really well and we laughed so much. We also went to a great restaurant and tried delicious traditional Nubian food. 100% recommended

Great trip to Abu Simbel
Excellent driver (Mahmoud) and a comfortable car made the long day trip enjoyable. Our guide, Hani, even helped us with our onward travel in the afternoon at the end of the tour. The tour provider, Emo Tour, provided good communication and coordination via WhatsApp.

Sichere Fahrt nach Abu Simbel
Wir hatten für die Fahrt von Assuan nach Abu Simbel nur einen Fahrer gemietet.
Er hat uns pünktlich abgeholt und uns sicher nach Abu Simbel und wieder zurück gebracht.
Das Auto war ein noch neuer, geräumiger Kia sportage mit guter Klimaanlage.
Etwa auf halber Strecke haben wir bei einem „Café“ eine kleine Pause eingelegt.
Wir sind rundum zufrieden mit dem Fahrer!

This is a wonderful trip. It is a must see sight if you are in the area. I started my tour in aswan. The drive is about 3 hours one way in an air conditioned car. The driver speaks minimal english but he is friendly and helpful. Please note that the road closes at 5pm. So you must return back to aswan by 5pm otherwise the driver would face a fine. I did not know this fact. But the driver did not try to rush us. We were running late because we started late and stopped for lunch. But again the driver was going out of his way to accommodate our time table. I ended up offered to pay for the fine, the driver did not ask me to pay for it. Overall it was a good experience and do recommend using this tour operator.

Excursion très agréable
Excursion réservée pour deux adultes et deux adolescents de type chauffeur plus guide.
Nous avons fourni des images de nos passeports, mais aucune idée si c'est vraiment utile.
Véhicule confortable et moderne avec air climatisé. Deux chauffeurs.
Compter environ 3h avec ce type de véhicule privatisé. Plusieurs checkpoint le long de la route.
Tickets achetés sur Internet pendant le trajet à partir du site officiel Egymonuments.
Sur place un coordinateur nous trouve le guide, un autre groupe nous rejoint.
Tout est chronométré sur place. 1 h pour effectuer la visite les deux temples. Je pense que 15 à 30 minutes de plus serait tout de même confortable vu le nombre de gens qui sont sur place au même moment et que c'est quand même compliqué dans les temples de se croiser, de voir les détails, de prendre son temps et de pouvoir prendre des photos sans avoir quelqu'un d'étranger dessus.
Petite déception tout de même sur le guide qui se promène avec une vingtaine de photos, donne des explications simples que l'on peut retenir facilement, mais pas le temps de lui poser d'autres questions du tout. Il part d'ailleurs avant la fin de la visite. Il n'a pas le droit de rentrer dans les temples avec les touristes, et c'est plutôt compréhensible sinon il y aurait un bruit dingue dans les temples où tous les guides parleraient le plus fort possible.
Trajet retour jusqu'à l'hôtel sans aucun problème. Bakchiche donné aux deux chauffeurs et au guide.
Au final, est-ce que faire 7h de trajet pour 1h de visite vaut le coup ? On peut dormir dans la voiture et donc le temps passe plus vite. Je répondrai donc que oui c'est à faire une fois dans sa vie.
Comme pour le vol en montgolfière à Louxor, comparez bien les prix car je ne pense pas que cela apporte beaucoup plus en payant plus cher.

A must do in Aswan! The best
This was one of the best services we got in egypt! The driver was very kind and arranging and helpful. Served us water and made a detour to we can have food on the way with no extra cost. We needed to be back to aswan on time and he made sure that we arrive on time. Putting good music and he let us put music also ! The guide was very informative and kind and nice. The temple is amazing and impressive and it’s definitely a must do when in aswan. Thanks for them to make this trip easy and fun.

Everything ok
Everything was good on time to pick us up on time to transfer us back. The only problem was that our guide didn't speak good English and we couldn't understand a lot of things.

The experience was great...
The experience was great overall. Our driver was very friendly and did his best to make us feel comfortable throughout. The guide was fine, although the tour felt a bit rushed at times. It was still a good tour and definitely recommendable – it would just be even better if the guide provided more in-depth explanations or allowed a bit more time at each site.
