The way in a big bus to Luxor was long, it took 6 hours to get there, no informations in English 🙃 from Luxor we were a small group, with guide Laila, she is a walking encyclopedia, we got lots of informations, seen a lot, had a great time. Thank you Laila !she deserves 5 stars

This is a review of two very contrasting parts. Firstly, the transfers to and from Luxor were completely chaotic and disorganised. I had to change buses in both directions and ended up, for the most part, on a bus full of (admittedly very lovely) Polish people with a guide who didn’t speak English. I had no idea what was happening, why I’d been told to change buses, where we were, or even if I was on the correct bus! In addition, someone had to ask the driver to turn on the air conditioning as we were all very hot which made a difficult situation even worse!! I arrived in Luxor (a trip I’ve waited my entire life to take) very stressed and worried. When my small group was told to get out of the bus on the side of the busy highway I was even more worried! I would give the transfer part of my trip, which was the bulk of the day at over 12 hours in total, 2, maybe three stars if I was feeling generous. Thankfully, however, the second part of my review is a lot better. My group consisted of only two of us (myself and another solo traveller) so our wonderful guide, Laila, was able to give us her full attention. Laila was extremely knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and, as a former schoolteacher, had a presence about her and a way of imparting information which turned my arduous journey into a wonderful day. I can recommend the optional boat trip on the Nile. It was just the two of us on our own private boat and made an amazing day even more special. Laila gets a very well deserved 5 stars. I will definitely return to Luxor in the future but I will plan to fly to Luxor with a hotel in the city as I couldn’t do that transfer by coach again. It was truly awful!!

This trip was fabulous. I booked through Book Tour Egypt. I wasn't looking forward to the drive to Luxor, however, it was a small air-conditioning van and we stopped for a toilet break. The drive down was actually really enjoyable. I seen things that I would never have seen in a hotel resort. The sures we visited were fabulous and our guide, Muhammed, was very knowledgeable. I paid extra to visit the tomb of King Tut at Valley of the Kings and was glad I did. There was also an optional boat ride, it was well worth the money and included a visit to banana island. All in all, a great day, highly recommended.

Die gebuchte Tour war super organisiert, das Unternehmen stets in persönlichem Kontakt zu uns, um einen reibungslosen Ablauf zu gewährleisten. Alle Abmachungen wurden zu 100% eingehalten, teilweise sogar noch übertroffen. Bei 2 Tage Luxor 3 mal landestypisches Essen, plus Stadtrundfahrt mit einer Kutsche! Auch der Ausflug nach Kairo mit dem Flugzeug topp!

Die Agentur ist sehr zu empfehlen, top Kommunikation, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir hatten den Ganztagestrip nach Luxor und Tal der Könige kurzfristig gebucht. Walid ist ein schneller, guter Fahrer, es gab Getränke und Gebäck im Bus. Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe mit fünf Personen und wurden von Gogo, unserer Reiseführerin, unterhaltsam zu den verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten begleitet. Sie hat die geschichtlichen Aspekte nicht zu sehr vertieft, was wir als angenehm empfanden. Die Nilfahrt mit dem Boot war optional, wir haben sie gemacht, es war wunderbar. Danach gab es ein im Preis inkludiertes Mittagessen in einem schönen Restaurant, wir waren angenehm überrascht. Der Ausflug hat uns rundum richtig gut gefallen, empfehlen wir gerne weiter. Grüße Fr. The views were amazing and this was my life long dream. However the drivers were near to non informative we had to have a third person on the bus for guided tour Mohamed was amazing, I’m not quite sure how he retains so much information but he does! Very impressive. The drivers akmed and I’m not sure on the others name… on the way journey home were on the phone for the whole journey (4 hours) and sometimes quite aggressive towards other drivers, with raised voices and such. So no one could rest or have a quiet period after a long day. The views are 5****** The long day was tiring and the harassment from the market people were the down sides. Make sure to NOT buy anything from any of them as it is a scam.

We really enjoyed this day, the pick up was smooth and on time using a large coach with polite and helpful staff who drove us safely to Luxor, when we arrived we met our wonderful guide Laila who we had a private tour with. Laila is brilliant and shared her interesting and indepth knowledge with us as she is an egytpologist and very friendly and lovely and everyone we passed said we had the best guide in Luxor! Which we agreed with! We started with a tour around Karnak Temple and also had some free time by ourselves for taking photos (as we did on every part of the tour, be careful of people offering to take photos for you because they will then demand money even though the photos are on your own phone), we then had a private car take us to the River Nile where we enjoyed a lovely boat ride to the west side and looked around a small farm with bananas, mangos, fig and orange trees and some animals (this cost an extra £15 per person which we knew about when booking the tour, everything else was included). Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple were very interesting and again we had free time around these, there were a few other small stops along the way. We learnt so much! We would definitely recommend this tour and can't thank Laila enough for making our day so great! The weather was nice and warm in January but not too hot so we were comfortable all day. It is a long day getting picked up from Hurghada at 4am and arriving back around 10-11pm due to the long coach journey (which did have toilet breaks) but don't let that put you off because it is worth it! Thank you again to this tour and a special thankyou to our new friend Laila!

If you want the best experience and most important, interesting and indepth history of Luxor then this tour with Laila is a definite must! Laila has alot of knowledge which you won't find out in history books, only from a true local who has studied like she has. She made us feel very comfortable and looked after, she is a gem and gave us the best day! All the sightseeing was really good and the buffet lunch was delicious. Highly recommend this company, especially Laila! Thankyou again x
