Great experience - great service
I booked this tour and several others through Egypt Tailor Made Tours:
Pyramids Tour: It's the Pyramids, what can you say. Go visit them, even if it's the only thing you do in Egypt. Saqqara and Memphis are also definitely worth a visit: You learn how the whole idea of building pyramids evolved and developed over the centuries. Also, the alabaster burial chambers in Saqqara are beautiful.
Quad Tour around the Pyramids: This one's fun. You get some nice views of the Pyramids in between, but most of the time you just get to drive up and down the sand dunes. Take something with you to cover your mouth, and don't dress up fancy.
Trip to Wadi al Hitan: The Valley of the Whales is quite some way from Cairo out in the desert. There is a small museum there with a few associated buildings, all very tastefully done so that it fits into the environment. You can find the whale skeletons by walking on a marked path through the sand, where they are just lying in the sun, with bone fragments littered throughout. This is quite the spectacular place, especially if you are interested in evolution, and the drive and walk through the desert further add to the experience.
Egyptian Museum / Old Cairo: The Egyptian Museum has too many artifacts to display them properly, but it's definitely worth a visit, especially as long as it has the treasure from King Tut's grave on display. Old Cairo has a huge souvenir market to offer for those who lean that way; if you are more interested in history, there are some nice examples of medieval islamic architecture.

Egypt Tailor Made Tours: As for the tour operator, it's easy to see where these guys get their reputation from. When booking the tours, I was dealing with the owner directly, Walid Fatih. His response times were excellent, which is just what you're looking for when booking tours to a foreign country. He was also very flexible in arranging the tours, and took care to ensure that everything was alright after the tours had started.
Walid does his business by hiring freelancers who then do the actual guiding and driving. Both my driver (Zizou) and guide (Sabry) were very good. Zizou did a great job navigating the Cairo traffic with skill and experience. Sabry is a very hard-working and educated man who provided lots of interesting information, especially on ancient Egypt. As a bonus, he also knew some great spots from where to take pictures.
Conclusion: A great experience overall, with no complaints whatsoever. Five stars.

Pyramid Tour
I had excellent fun with Laila as my guide! She was very helpful and knew alot about the history of Egypt! Her English was good and she always tried to do her best for us. Thanks again Laila for being a brilliant guide. I would fully recommend this trip with Egypt Tailor made and Laila to anyone.

Amazing Trip with Heba from Egypt Tailor Made Day Tours!
Wow! What a great tour! It was very easy to set up the tour with Walid from Egypt Tailor Made Day Tours, and our guide Heba was amazing. She took great photos, was super knowledgable and energetic, and was very accommodating when we wanted to stop for coffee, take photos from particular angles, etc. Would highly recommend Egypt Tailor Made (and Heba specifically) to anyone who wants to learn a lot and have a great time!

Excellent private tour
We did a custom 2.5 day tour including a Nile dinner cruise, full day of Pyramids/Sphinx/Saqqara/Memphis, and Cairo day tour which included the Museum, tour of mosques, felluca boat ride, and trip to the bazaar. Amr Moussa was our guide and was extremely knowledgable and friendly. Everything was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this tour company and guide. My wife and I were very pleased. The drivers were also prompt and did a great job navigating the crazy Cairo traffic.

Superbe visite des pyramides de Gizeh, de Saqqarah et de Memphis
Nous avons réservé notre visite avec l'Egypte sur mesure au téléphone après avoir vu de telles bonnes critiques et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Mido et Mostafa étaient excellents. Ils répondaient à nos besoins et planifiaient notre tournée en conséquence. Mido est un excellent guide et très compétent. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et bien sûr les pyramides sont géniales! ! !

Journée incroyable avec un guide incroyable!
J'ai passé une journée incroyable sur cette tournée sur mesure en Egypte! Bien sûr, les attractions elles-mêmes sont à couper le souffle, mais cette tournée était vraiment plus que cela. J'ai vraiment pleuré de rire pendant cinq bonnes minutes et j'ai passé un très bon moment avec notre guide charmante et hilarante, Laila. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise et nous nous sommes sentis davantage comme des amis lors d'un voyage que des clients. Recommande fortement, y compris pour les femmes voyageant seules

Le meilleur en Egypte
Ma famille et moi avons utilisé Egypt Tailor Made pour notre séjour de cinq jours au Caire et la société a été excellente pour répondre à nos désirs tout au long du chemin. Walid, le propriétaire, était très accessible et reconnaissant. Il a répondu à toutes les questions, même les plus petites et les plus ridicules, et a mis à jour notre itinéraire en cas de changement.
À travers Tailor Made, nous avons visité Alexandrie, Louxor, la nécropole de Gizeh / Memphis / Saqqarah et exploré le Caire. Sabry, notre guide pour partout ailleurs que Louxor, est l'un des meilleurs du pays. Un égyptologue, Sabry était incroyablement au courant des moindres détails sur les plus petites ruines de piliers; il était gentil, aimable et communicatif, et TOUJOURS tôt pour venir nous chercher pour notre journée. Nous recommandons VIVEMENT Sabry et espérons que nous le reverrons la prochaine fois en Egypte!

Tour incroyable !!
Ma famille et moi avons vraiment apprécié notre tournée avec l'Egypte sur mesure! ! Nous avons été pris en charge à notre hôtel dans une spacieuse camionnette climatisée et emmenés à Saqqarah, Memphis, et enfin, les pyramides de Gizeh! Mido était si instructif et nous pouvions vraiment voir son amour pour l’histoire égyptienne transparaître, entre ce fait et son comportement remarquable, tout devenait plus qu’une simple attraction touristique et devenait une expérience inestimable et authentique que nous allions vivre avec nous. Il était très attentionné envers nos deux jeunes enfants et nous avons pu nous arrêter pour acheter plus de bouteilles d’eau ou une collation à tout moment. Nous sommes vraiment reconnaissants d'avoir réservé cette visite. Nous avons eu beaucoup d'autres visites pendant notre séjour en Égypte et celle-ci était de loin notre préférée! Je recommande fortement!

Excellent tour
Nous avons organisé une excursion privée de deux jours à travers l’Égypte et elle était excellente dans tous les aspects de la tournée. Nous avons été accueillis à l'aéroport et pour les 2 prochains jours, tout a été fait pour nous. Notre guide était Laila et notre chauffeur était Shaba. Tous deux étaient professionnels et compétents. Laila était enthousiaste et très fière de son héritage. Avoir une visite privée signifiait que nous avions le contrôle du temps que nous passions dans différentes attractions. C’était particulièrement bien lorsque nous étions aux pyramides et qu’on nous permettait de rester aussi longtemps que nous le souhaitions et de ne pas être pressés de partir. Notre hôtel, Le Meridian Pyramids, était très bien et nos chambres avaient une vue complète sur les pyramides. Je recommanderais totalement cette société et notre excellent guide et chauffeur.

48 hours in Cairo
We have just had the best 2 days in Cairo with the best tour guide ever, Laila, and the best driver ever, Shaban from Egypt Tailor Made Tours. As our time was limited, Laila showed us the highlights - the museum, the bazaar, the pyramids, the sphinx, the sights of Seqqara and Memphis and a night on the Nile, all the while keeping us very well informed with her excellent knowledge of Egyptian history. Shaban steered us effortlessly through the mad traffic of Cairo to our various destinations. Almost the best part of our trip were the falafel sandwiches that Laila magically produced for our lunches at our special request. We would highly recommend Laila and Shaban as they made us feel very comfortable and safe at all times during our tour and we really enjoyed their company.
