Guide for 15’ and useless/irrelevant
We took this tour about 3 weeks ago starting from Nubian Village in Aswan to Abu Simbel and then we also added transportation to Luxor.
We had a big and comfy car and even though our driver Habou wasn’t talking any English, left us with a very good impression since he was very kind and friendly, was driving safely and generally was discreet and professional.
Abu Simbel is generally a marvelous place and totally worth a visit but our tour guide was just a waste of money and time.
He only spend 15’ with us when he escorted us from the entrance to the location of the temple and gave us a 2’ long brief about the place which we could have easily read in Wikipedia. He tried to make silly jokes and was rushing us through the area without considering we might want to walk around the location or take photos in any place outside the temple. His english were quite weak and disturbing and didn’t seem like an actual professional guide but more like someone who randomly memorized 3 things about the monument and was saying it to us.
I would only suggest transportation from this agency.

Fantastic tour with Mariem
Mariem was a fantastic guide!! She was very helpful and friendly, she was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour informative and fun. She had great local knowledge and was happy to answer all the questions we had.

Good option for Abu Simbel

Abu Simbel is amazing but don’t bother with guide
Abu Simbel is a must do if you’re in Aswan. Do not bother with a guide though - they’re not allowed inside the temples so our guide gave us a 5 minute overview outside before we went in and otherwise slept the majority of the journey. We also asked him a question which he said that “no one knows” but we later saw the answer on an information plaque at the site. If you’re willing to do a bit of reading beforehand you’ll be just as informed.

Quick, fast, complete tour of the temples.
Starting at 4:30, our guide (Sunil) and driver picked us up in a modern comfortable car and drove us to Abu Simbel. Our driver, a contender to Max Verstappen for fastest driver on the planet got us there just as the gates were opening and the overnight visitors to the park were finishing up and leaving. This left us with a lull in the crowds that worked out perfect.
During the drive, our guide had prepped us for the temples. He went through a detailed map of the temples, showed us photos of some of what we would see and covered the myths to make them interesting and memorable. Guides are not allowed to enter the temples with us. This was a good thing. More time for looking, photos, and appreciating the grand place.
Our guide also accommodated our tight schedule by making sure we could see it all without wasting any time. He dropped several options from his planned itinerary and returned us in time for our other commitments.
After only 1 hour 20 minutes, we’d see both temples. From there our race driver swiftly returned us in approx 4 hours drive back to Aswan.

Voyage simple à Abu
Ma guide touristique Maryam était très gentille et compétente mais le déjeuner était horrible. Nous avons déjeuné très tard dans un restaurant de mauvaise qualité.

Commencer de bonne heure. Essayez d'arriver au temple avant la foule. Cela vous donnera quelques minutes paisibles pour profiter de ces magnifiques morceaux d'histoire.

Excursion d'une journée à Abou Simbel
Nous avons apprécié notre excursion d'une journée à Abou Simbel. Notre vol a eu du retard la veille et nous sommes arrivés très tard. Notre tournée a commencé à 7 heures du matin, nous étions donc très fatigués. Ahmed, notre chauffeur, a été compréhensif et nous avons pu dormir un peu en chemin et il nous a offert du café pour bien démarrer notre journée. Samir, notre guide, nous a rencontré à Abou Simbel. Bon guide, mais c'était une surcharge d'informations et j'ai remis en question son exactitude. Nous recherchions une visite relaxante, que nous avions mentionnée au début mais que nous n'avions pas observée. De beaux temples directement sur le Nil. Le déjeuner était très bon. Ahmed était un chauffeur génial ! Il était très gentil et ponctuel. Nous l'avons tellement apprécié que nous l'avons réservé le lendemain et avons annulé notre chauffeur d'origine ! Je le recommanderais mais la journée est longue (environ 8 heures entre la prise en charge et le retour).

Sinvergüenzas
Son unos sinvergüenzas de campeonato. Contratamos la excursión a Abu simbel sin comida (leímos en otras reseñas que cobraban mucho y que si la pagabas por tu cuenta valía menos de la mitad) y hoy cuando nos han llevado a comer el chofer nos ha pedido 20€ extras (hemos pagado 21 por 2 pax comida y bebida) sin motivo!!!!

Une visite merveilleuse et un guide phénoménal
Notre guide Russie était phénoménal. Elle connaissait très bien non seulement les temples que nous avons vus, mais elle a également fourni des informations sur le paysage et les choses que nous avons vues lors de notre trajet vers et depuis Abou Simbel. Nous avons tellement appris et passé le meilleur moment. Nous recommandons cette visite à tout le monde et vous devez vous assurer de demander la Russie.
