The Qasr el Nil Bridge (originally named Khedive Ismail Bridge, Egyptian Arabic: Asr el Nil Bridge), is a historic swing bridge structure dating from 1931 which replaced the first bridge to span the Nile River in central Cairo, Egypt.[2] It connects Tahrir Square in Downtown Cairo on the east bank of the river, to the southern end of Gezira/Zamalek Island. At the bridge's east and west approaches are four large bronze lion statues; they are late 19th-century works by Henri Alfred Jacquemart, a French sculptor and animalier.

The 6th October Bridge (Arabic: كوبري 6 أكتوبر, Kubri 6(sadis) uktubar) is an elevated highway in central Cairo, Egypt. The 20.5-kilometre (12.7 mi) bridge and causeway crosses the Nile twice from the west bank suburbs, east through Gezira Island to Downtown Cairo, and on to connect the city to other highways that lead to the Cairo International Airport to the east. Its name commemorates the date of 'The Crossing', which commenced the outbreak day of the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

  4. Zamalek

Zamalek (Arabic: الزمالك pronounced [ez.zæˈmæːlek], al zamalek) is a qism (ward) within the West District (hayy gharb) in the Western Area of Cairo, Egypt.[1] It is an affluent man-made island that geologically is part of the west bank of the Nile River, with the bahr al-a'ma (Blind Canal) cut during the second half of the 19th Century to separate it from the west bank proper.[2] The northern third has been developed into a residential area, which was home to 14,946 people during the 2017 census.[3] The southern two-thirds are mostly sports grounds and public gardens, a stark green reserve in the middle of Cairo. The island is connected with the river banks by four bridges: the Qasr El Nil Bridge, the Galaa Bridge, the 15 May Bridge, and the 6th October Bridge.

The opera house was inaugurated on 10 October 1988. The funds for the complex were a gift from the nation of Japan to Egypt as a result of President Hosni Mubarak's visit to Japan in April 1983. Construction began in May 1985 and lasted for three years.[1] In October 1988, President Mubarak and Prince Tomohito of Mikasa, the younger brother of the Japanese Emperor, inaugurated the National Cultural Centre Cairo Opera House. It was the first time for Japan to stage a Kabuki show, a traditional popular drama with singing and dancing, in Africa or the Arab World.

The idea of establishing Al Ahly came in the first 10 years of the 20th century and was first raised by Omar Lotfy who was a student in the Egyptian Law School during his presidency of the High School Students Club, which was established in 1905. The establishment of a club for high school students was for political reasons, and the students needed a sports club to gather them for leisure and exercise.

Great experience with lovely staff

We had such a great time the captain and the local staff were so attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Great communication from the staff prior to the boat trip too. Thank you!!

Very nice boat tour, 2...

Very nice boat tour, 2 hours around Zamalek Nile island, the staff was really kind, they give you unlimited good quality drinks and a warm blanket to protect from the wind, there is a live music show and it is possible to move around the boat to take photos and videos. Recommended!

Beautiful and good service.

Great service, delicious freshly squeezed juice and food. Came a little late and then got a ride by speedboat to the boat and nice help to lift in the daughter with wheelchair. Atmospheric performance and beautiful everything. Highly recommended.

This cruise is definitely worth experiencing! My husband and I enjoyed it alot. The views were great, the atmosphere was fun, and we ordered food which was delicious! It’s a 2 hour cruise so you get plenty of time to enjoy the view and eat!

Definitely a must if you are in Giza!

Communicated very well and accommodated a lot of my needs. Long story short I had a very dynamic itinerary with a lot of flight cancellations and last minute changes. The cruise was top notch with all the staff including the captain and the chef being polite and sincere. The most important thing to me and to highlight was that all the staff had the biggest of smiles on their faces the entire time I was onboard! The food options were plentiful (I went with the T-bone steak) and it was cooked exactly how I asked. The chef knew I wanted it medium-rare and flame grilled it perfectly even taking into consideration how long my steak would be resting before it was dropped off at my table. I always appreciate when the chef comes to the tables to talk and ask about the food personally. The juice selection and freshness was out of this world with the mango being my personal favorite. Definitely being a light jacket just in case, but definitely DEFINITELY! take part on this cruise if you are visiting Cairo, or even if you are local to Cairo and want to test yourself to a nice relaxing evening.

Great value for money

This was great value for money- we booked to have dinner and everything was included- couldn’t believe how much food we got! I really enjoyed the chicken and desserts from menu 1. Staff were very young but professional and kind- a credit to the company. We really enjoyed the music and seeing the fountain!

Overall would recommend

Great value for money, and lovely to see the sunset on the Nile. The location was not initially the easiest for our driver to find, but we got there in the end. We were boarded promptly to get our full time slot on the boat, which was very well presented. We opted to have food on board, which was great, and had great portion sizes - sadly we both had a later lunch than planned, so couldn't finish it all because of how big they were! Therefore the food was really good value for money. All our drinks (coffees and waters) were included in our upfront cost, which was also great value for money! Staff on board were really attentive and polite. We really enjoyed the bits of live music too - kept us entertained albeit slightly too loud at times. I wish a couple of the key sites we saw as the boat was moving were pointed out either in a pamphlet or upfront. But on the other hand, after a day of sight seeing, it was nice to relax and enjoy the boat. Overall, would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the Nile at sunset on a lovely boat - and for good value for money food and drink.

We enjoyed our night time...

We enjoyed our night time cruise, well worth including in your Cairo bucket list. The team here were very professional from pre-communication through to disembarking - we left a bag behind, a crew member kindly rushed after us. Passing under the bridges will not be forgotten!
