About the trip in Egypt:
Choosing to visit Egypt requires some interest out of the options to visit so many other countries/cities in the world. If this doesn’t align with your interest, I would request think about it and possibly avoid. The people in this country are great and the best I like are in Aswan, Luxor. We went in the month of August that’s a not a season and the weather is so very hot. These cities have a considerable business in the tourism industry. The Cairo is a large metropolitan city and the culture is pretty different from Aswan/Luxor. It is sort of rush life, no care attitude, what’s the benefit for me attitude. Lots of luxury international shops, rich people.
Our itinerary is Day 1 – Cairo, Day 2,3 – Aswan/Cruise, Day 4-Cruise, Day 5 – Luxor, Day 5 – Cairo. We fly from Cairo to Ashwan and from Luxor to Cairo by Egypt Air.

It was a great experience to work with this locally represented Egypt Day Tours to arrange our 6 day Egypt Tour covering Cairo, Aswan and Luxor in August. The booking process is simple unlike several online offers and the best part is the ability to reach the sales agent by Whatsapp, phone, quick in responses, booking, sharing the plans, try their best to make you are satisfied during the tour. The tour guides are not pushy on the options tour, decent English-speaking local accent guide that has good knowledge about the place, lucky to have a good one for our Aswan, Luxor trip. Vehicles are clean, for 4 of us they gave van. We went in a non-season, so I don’t know how this works during season. All of our trips within this tour are private except the travel/boarding part within the cruise. Trips from the cruise are private.
In summary, I’m satisfied and would recommend.

Prior to leaving my home country, I only made a partial payment and the agent is agreeable to pay the rest on arrival. Disclaimer: This may subject to change and always check with the agent for current terms and conditions. I should have made the full payment prior to the trip but the agent said I can make it after I arrive. Then I couldn’t make an online CC payment after arrival in Cairo due to Credit/Debit card security restrictions, the company is flexible enough to give more time and finally I made the payment at Luxor.
Not on this Egypt Day Tours agent, a general tip for an Egypt tour that could be very helpful for any traveler is on how to handle tipping. Although tipping is optional, expectations are set very deep for tip, especially the expectations are set as tourists to pay in local currency of what they pay usually give in their country for each and every small task that’s slightly unusual. I read about this from other forums but witnessed for real. So have plenty of local currency in smaller denominations and expect to give after each activity. That’s the challenging part that impacts your trip as you’re in a foreign land with a foreign currency and you don’t know how much you need at what time.
In most places, the cost is calculated as what otherwise you would incur in your hometown. For example, if a taxi ride costs 15 USD in America for a few kms, then the it’s about 3 to 4 USD converted to local currency as tip. The locals pay an overall cost of 5 USD or less for the same travel with or without tip. So, after reaching the country, have lots of changes in 10s,20s so that it is easy to give the tips as per your wish.

50th Birthday for Best Friend
We are back home and missing Egypt. We had a beautiful time from July 25th to Aug 4th. Everyone was professional, accessible, knowledgeable, and friendly. Absolutely no problems with safety. The trip itinerary was planned and full of exciting tours, but flexible with the ability to add excursions and free time. All of our guides and drivers were the best.

Memorable trip in Egypt
My friends and I, 4 people - all female, visited Egypt for the very first time about 8 days. We had such a great time there because of Egypt day tours. You fulfilled our trip and it was beyond our expectation. Thank you Ahmed and team for your help, well-managed and all surprises you did for us. We very much appreciated. It was 90% perfect!!! If we have a chance to go back to Egypt, you'll see us again ;)

A very good option to know a lot about Egypt in a relatively short time
Last week we enjoyed Egypt with this company. They helped us to accommodate the activities according to our convenience depending on the arrival and departure times of our flights to Egypt. We had the opportunity to share our first and last day with Sabry Hashim, who took us to the Egyptian museum and the pyramids on the first day of our arrival in Cairo. Excellent guide, very attentive xq we learned from your culture and friendly at all times, always trying to make our trip a pleasant and unforgettable experience. With him we also shared the last day on a round trip to Alexandria that we wanted to incorporate in our trip and we enjoyed it very much. In our cruising days, which left Luxor for the South on the Nile, we met many of Egypt’s main tourist attractions that clearly revolve around the brutal amount of history this country has. Here we were joined by Alex Lejenda, who became our friend after so many days sharing the wonders of his town and country with us, excellent guide too, always trying to improve and focused on being his best version always, which is appreciated and admired. With both guides we had the detail that our tour started on the first day of Ramadan and they were fasting most of the day, which made their excellent work even more admirable. Regarding the cruise, we were in one called Royal Princess. Beautiful rooms and incredibly friendly and nice staff, impossible not to find at ease, but well there is always some uncomfortable x there. The only detail of the design of the tour that we did not like much and that was even more evident to us, being only two people, was that they took us to some places with the supposed intention of teaching us how some traditional things of the place were done (perfumes, papyri, alabaster crafts, local medicinal herbs, among others) and actually we were given a minimal explanation and after this was a persistent offer of products with what we felt committed to buy, in some cases with high prices, and already after they sat you down and gave you a complimentary drink and an interested kindness that was clearly hard to ignore at the time of the purchase request. In a group it might not have been so problematic xq you throw off and done, but there were only two of us and that made it a little uncomfortable. This I think could be improved or avoided, our only criticism of the tour.

Best tour ever
We spend 10 days in Egypt. I only have excellent words to describe what we lived with them. I sent them what we wanted to visit and prepared a 100% personalized itinerary visiting as many places as possible. They also adapted to our requirements every day as it was always private tour in private cars. Professional drivers who always drove safe and cautious. The hotels and cruise that booked for us where excellent. But the best of all the trip were the guides. From the very first moment you don’t feel that they are guides but your friends. Special thanks to Khaled and Magdi, professional, respectful and very passionate.
Finally, Egypt is a country 100% safe.
Do not hesitate to book a trip with them, because the price is also very competitive.

Nile Cruise , Cairo, and Alexandria
I had a wonderful time traveling with the help of Egypt Day Tours. They had excellent service and the whole trip went very smoothly without any hitches. They responded to any questions I had very promptly and they were able to accomodate my needs.
In particular, Mohammed Abo Elfetouh (Super Mo) who guided me during the cruise in Upper Egypt was very knowledgable and knew how to make my experience very memorable.
Mohammed Doma who guided me in Alexandria was exemplary in his knowledge and skills and experience.
I highly recommend both guides.
In summary, If I were to visit Egypt again (And I hope so someday), I would definitely use Egypt Day Tours.

Tour to Cairo, Luxor & Aswan
This is like Dream come true for us. We have just come from 7 Days - 6 Nights Private tour organised by "Egypt Day Tours".
Very professional tour operators. Maro & Ahmed was very helpful from day one of the planning process. They accommodated all our request politely and professionally.
The cars that were given to us were clean and had polite drivers.
The guides were excellent. We had "Fatma" with us in Cairo. She's very knowledgeable and went over and above to assist us. She's one of the best in the business. I would highly recommend Fatma for everyone who wish to see Cairo. A Good photographer too!!!
We then had "Magdy" as our tour guide for Luxor & Aswan. Very professional and knowledgeable too!!!

Excellent Vacation!
We had three awesome tour guides. They were fantastic and brilliant. They knew so much about every museum and site. We will recommend this company to anyone traveling to Egypt! I love all the places they brought us to shop. Wish I had a larger suitcase. Bassem, Mohamed, and Sara were the best.

What a Fantastic Trip!!!

You guys are the best. I recommend you 100% to anyone who wants to go to Egypt. Our tour (11 day Jordan/Egypt was truly epic, we are so privileged to have seen all the historic ancient sites I learned as a student. I am grateful Egypt Day Tours team made this trip truly unforgettable. I started planning last year, made a list of all sites I wanted to see. In July 2018, I sent several inquiries to different travel agencies on line. Maro, from EDT was the first to respond in 24 hrs. After obtaining specific information about my requirements, he sent me an itinerary with a quote. The quote is similar to other advertised prices, but the big difference is this was a private escorted tour which can be started anyday of the week. From July to the culmination of our trip ( me and hubby) in November, Maro and I exchanged 72 emails- my questions, changes, etc. Maro answered all my queries in less that 24 hrs., others almost immediately. The 3 day Jordan portion of our trip was with a partner agency, I will not rate it with my review of EDT. We flew from US to Amman, then Amman to Cairo. On arrival to Cairo Airport, Osama, in his business suit, was there to meet us. He had already obtained our Egyptian visa, which saved time. On the way to meet our tour guide, Osama treated us to a very delicious vegan falafel breakfast. Akhmed was our driver, polite, soft spoken, smooth driving all the way. Mina was our tour guide. He was pleasant, friendly, passionate about Cairo and Egypt. We had a special treat from him- Koshary lunch at famous Abou Tarek. Koshary was very good. Mina did not mind taking our pictures and actually made our Pyramid pictures fun because he knew the best way to take them. From Cairo, we flew to Aswan. At the airport, we were met by out tour guide, Shahhat, a down to earth Egyptologist and scholar of hieroglyphics. He, too, was very passionate about his Egypt. Like Mina, he brought to life the history behind the sites we were visiting. He patiently explained Egyptian symbols, murals and paintings and names of gods and pharaohs to our “senior brains”. He stayed with us thruout our Nile Cruise. He was funny, made you feel like you were being guided by a friend you were visiting. He also took great pictures of us in the sites we visited. Mina and Shahhat, you are the best tour guides ever.
Maro upgraded our accommodation to 5*, Le Meridien Pyramid hotel and cruise boat, Jaz Jubilee. Free breakfast at the hotel was extravagant. I did not like the food served at the cruise. The Nile Cruise was very relaxing with wonderful views of Egyptians, their homes and greenery. We flew from Luxor back to Cairo for our return flight to the US. We were comfortable, happy and in awe of all our experiences in Egypt all due to the expertise and care of EDT team. Thank you so much.
