Our guide Rania and driver Mohammed were amazing. We visited the stepped pyramid at Saqqara and a few mustabas (make sure you see the inside of the pyramid of Unas) then off to Dohshur for the bent and red pyramids (going inside the bent pyramid is worthwhile but it’s hard work) the finally Memphis (not much there to see) followed by lunch. Rania was an amazing guide, so knowledgeable, friendly and funny! We had such a great time, much quieter and easier paced than the Giza plateau.

I'd highly recommend this tour! Our guide and driver were excellent and the sites we visited shouldn't be missed. We were able to go down inside one of the older pyramids pre-dating those at Giza, and were basically the only people inside. This tour lets you see the earliest attempts at pyramids, so you can appreciate how the ancient Egyptians developed the technique over time.

This was a great experience exploring the lesser-known pyramids. I would recommend this to people visiting Cairo and would go as far to say that I preferred it to the pyramids of Giza given that they are not only older but also had hardly any tourists there (compared to the packed Giza pyramids). The tour guides took good care of me and allowed me the freedom to decide what to do.

Very well organized tour in a super interesting archeological area. Sakkara and Dashur are wonderful sites that are worth visiting. We were lucky enough not to find any crowd, which allowed us to make the most out of the time there. The itinerary is well planned and allows to see many monuments. We purchased the package with driver and guide and couldn’t be happier: they were both very polite and the guide was passionate and knowledgeable.
