We chose the driver only option as read up on the sites beforehand and it suited us perfectly! We were free to explore ik our own time and tempo and our driver Ahmed was amazing. Kind and reliable and gave us great tips for walking around the sites, what to expect and helped with buying the tickets! I feel he went above and beyond helping us navigate.
Do not miss imhotep museum and unas pyramid in saccara next to the Djoser Step-pyramid.
My partner went down the Bent pyramid in Dashour for the adventure experience. Price included in entrance ticket. It was very physically straining as it is a steep and narrow climb about 100 down but a cool experience he said.
Highly recomend this experience! Very happy with our driver Ahmed!

Day Tour to Saqqara, Dashur, and Memphis
I was looking for an outing on my last day in the Cairo area, and this turned out to be exactly what I wanted. My driver Ali Muhammad was super friendly and a safe and careful driver. He made sure I had anything I needed, especially water. The Step Pyramid at Saqqara is amazing, and it’s worth the extra ticket to take a view inside it. I also got to tour the interiors of both the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid at Dashur. These both involve some crawling/hunching in close spaces, but it was really cool to explore their more complex interiors. Thanks to Emo Tours Egypt for organizing this amazing experience!

Our driver Mody arrived on time. We only hired car. Each place we visited we could see the site at our own pace so we weren’t rushed.

Absolutely worth it, it is definitely the best archeological tour near Cairo. Much more interesting than Giza.
Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, everyone knew her.
The car had A/C and the driver was extremely polite.

Great guided tour with lunch. Very polte, informative and punctual guide. We learnt a lot about the sights and history of Egypt and answered all our questions have been answered. Tasty delicious lunch. Highly recommend.

6 hour tour
This tour was a great way to spend part of our last day in Egypt before flying out after a 3 week visit. Our driver for the day was Kassem. We did the car and driver option because we wanted to see these older pyramids but didn’t feel like we needed a tour. I especially enjoyed the drive out into the countryside on the way to the pyramids, seeing all of the palm trees, agriculture, and farm animals.
We went into the Red pyramid which was pretty cool and was more enjoyable (and cheaper) than going into Khufu in Giza (different day) , but I’m glad that we entered both. Our driver was very nice and when we couldn’t communicate we just used WhatsApp and google translate. We were also able to get dropped off at a different place from pickup which saved us some steps.

The perfect guide
Suleiman is one of the best guides in Cairo. He speaks spanish perfectly and he knows 5000 year of the history en Egipt. Very friendly and polite. A must a tour with Suleiman.
