As per requested time will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and drive to the south of Aswan which is around 3hrs drive to enjoy Abu Simbel day tour from Aswan by air-conditioned vehicle. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Spend around 3 hours there then take the way back to Aswan.

A great day with Emad at Abu Simbel
I had a very memorable day with Emad visiting Abu Simbel and Lake Nasser. We spent 12 hours together and I learned a tremendous amount about ancient Egyptian history, as well as more recent events and current politics. We had very enjoyable discussions. Emad is a very knowledgeable person and communicates in a very understandable manner. He is also a very kind and caring human being. My day with Emad was a very special day for me during my 14-day Egyptian visit. I would recommend Emad to anyone interested in visiting Abu Simbel and the surrounding areas.

Excursion to one of Egypt’s most impressive temples
Tour with driver and private guide. Our guide was extremely polite and of an impeccable English, passing all his knowledge about the temple we visited. We would definitely be back.

Incredible temples - a must see tour
We had a great tour with Rasha. Pick up was on time, and Rasha explained interesting points in Aswan and along our drive. The temples at Abu Simbel were absolutely incredible, and Rasha helped give us a better understanding of key hieroglyphics and statues, allowing us to fully appreciate the temples. This tour and drive may be lengthy, but it's absolutely worth the trip!

We booked a tour from...
We booked a tour from Aswan to Abu Simbel with Emo Tours and our tour guide was Samir. Samir was very thorough in his explanations and had so much patience with us. We took a lot of time taking pictures and Samir patiently waited in the heat for us and even helped us get some really nice pictures. After our tour was over and we were heading back to Aswan, Samir offered to take us to other locations since we had some time before our flight to Cairo. We were very tired from all the traveling and told him we would like to just relax and get food at McDonald’s instead. Samir had the driver drop us off to McDonald’s, and come back to pick us up to take us to the airport in time for our flight. He even called us on the way to the airport to make sure the driver came to pick us up and we were getting to the airport safely. One of the best tour guides we had this whole trip.

Awesome tour with Mohamed gad allah
We had a great time with Mohamed gad allah our tour guide to Abu Simbel. He is knowledgeable about Egyptian history and very patient. He gave us plenty of time to take photos and to walk around Abu Simbel. After Abu Simbel, on our way back he also stopped the car to show us mirage. This was our first time seeing mirage, we were all astonished. The mirage looked so real as if there was water in the dessert with little islands. Moreover, he lent us money to go to restrooms (5 Egyptian pond per person), to buy coffee(30 Egyptian pond per cup) and 3 bottles of zero sugar coke(3 USD each) at Abu Simbel. And yes, we did not have any cash and Abu Simbel is very expensive. Our tour lasted around 7 hours. We were picked up at 5am, arrived at Abu Simbel around 9am and headed back around 10am. After the tour he is also kindly offering to drop us at the Aswan train station. At the train station, he again helped us to buy tickets. We could not thank him enough. Last not but least, he did not take us to any shopping spots where tourists get hassled to buy and he suggested us not to buy any price inflated items. Overall we had a great time with our guide Mohamed gad allah. We highly recommend him.

Amazing tour with Samer
Our trip to Abu Simbel with our tour guide, Samer, was excellent and would highly recommend him. He not only gave us a throughly tour of Abu Simbel’s history, but he also provided us with information during the drive of Aswan. Samer was very thoughtful and also treated us with some goodies (falafel, chips, coconut milk) on our way back from Abu Simbel. We enjoyed the driver and the tour guide so much that we hired them to take us to Luxor in the next day. Thank you for the marvelous experience!

Fast efficient ride to the temples
I would highly recommend taking an emo tour taxi to Abu Simbel rather than fly. The total travelling time is three hours door to door (so about the same as flying if you include taxi to airport, check in time and bus at Abu Simbel). It’s far more reliable than flying as EGYPTAIR frequently cancel the flight, as they did to us. The car was good quality and the driver was fast. A guide is unnecessary as they’re not allowed in the temples anyway. Emo tours are very easy to book and run on time. They are tripadvisor’s preferred travel agent in Egypt

Highly recommended!!! Once in a lifetime experience thanks Nermien!!
Nermien was our tour guide and she was amazing! Abu simbel is a once in a lifetime experience literally breathtaking. Nermien is very knowledgeable and explained everything very well in good English and the history and the details are mind blowing. We were a group of 3 girls everything is very safe and everyone is very friendly. Nermien very kindly took us in the extreme heat and waited while we took many selfies and took in the beautiful history. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Absolutely brilliant!
We booked a tour with Emo tours to visit Abu Simbel and Nermien was our guide. She was absolutely brilliant and very knowledgable and friendly. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Aswan.
