Ontdek het grootste museum voor oude Egyptische kunst en zijn schatten uit het rijke verleden van Egypte, zoals de hoogwaardige grafgiften. Tijdens een bezoek van ongeveer twee uur vertelt onze gids op humoristische wijze over de belangrijkste tentoonstellingen en beantwoordt hij uw vragen. Bewonder het laatste overgebleven wereldwonder - een werkelijk legendarische ervaring! In totaal vindt u hier drie piramides: de piramide van Chephren, de piramide van Cheops en de piramide van Menkerinos. U kunt de omgeving te voet, te paard of op een kameel verkennen. Na een bezoek aan de piramides van Gizeh gaan we naar de Sfinx, veruit de grootste en best bewaarde sfinx. Het bestaat uit een mensenhoofd op het lichaam van een leeuw. De Sfinx werd uitgehouwen uit de resten van een kalksteenheuvel die diende als steengroeve voor de Grote Piramide van Gizeh. Feluccatocht op de Nijl. U wordt rond 4.00 uur opgehaald bij uw hotel. Bij aankomst in Caïro wordt u ontvangen door uw gids, die u gedurende de hele tour zal begeleiden. Ontmoet uw Egyptologische gids bij het museum en begin uw dag. Bezoek het hypermoderne Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), het grootste archeologische museum ter wereld met meer dan 100.000 artefacten, of het Ancient Egyptian Museum op het Tahrirplein. Selecteer uw voorkeursmuseum tijdens het boekingsproces. Geniet daarna van uw lunch. De excursie gaat verder naar de grote piramides van Cheops, Chefren en Mykerinus. De piramidetour eindigt bij de Sfinx en de tempel die zich in de buurt bevindt. Als de tijd het toelaat, kunt u aan het eind van de dag nog de bazaar in Caïro bezoeken voordat u terugkeert naar Sharm el Sheikh. Bij aankomst op de luchthaven wordt u in een voertuig met airconditioning naar uw hotel gebracht.
Als de terugvlucht vanuit Caïro laat in de avond is, kunnen we nog wat tijd besteden aan een bezoek aan het middeleeuwse Londen (Khan el Klalili-markt), Oud-Caïro, dat onlangs is toegevoegd aan de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO, of Cairo Festival City, een extra groot (met airconditioning) winkelcentrum, een van de grootste in het Midden-Oosten. Vol met de meest bekende internationale merken, restaurants, cafés en een enorme kleurrijke dansende fontein, waar u wordt aangetrokken door het chique, moderne nachtleven van Caïro.
Als we tijd hebben, kunnen we twee karakteristieke bezoeken brengen aan het Papyrusmuseum en de fabriek voor etherische oliën. Tijdens deze twee bezienswaardigheden maakt u kennis met de oude Egyptische technieken voor het maken van papyrus en essences. Deze twee interessante bezoeken vergroten uw kennis over het dagelijks leven in het oude Egypte en zijn ook nuttig voor de Egyptische boeren die in deze sectoren werken en deze zeer oude ambachten uit het oude Egypte bewaren. (Deze bezoeken zijn afhankelijk van de resterende tijd.)

La nostra guida (Benedetto) è stato molto bravo e ha cercato di darci più informazioni possibili nonostante il tempo a disposizione era molto limitato..il pranzo preferirei pagarlo qualcosa in più (non era ottimo) però la posizione vista piramidi è bastata per accontentarsi. Giro in cammello (Esperienza unica) obligatoria. Museo Egizo Top. Visita al mercato tradizionale none per tutti..tanto casinò..ma vale la pena perché ti fa capire la quotidianità del cittadino comune(non ci sono le magliette borse e scarpe contraffatte) solo roba di utile uso quotidiano di gente del posto. Alla fine di giornata ci hanno fatto visitare un centro Commerciale in stile occidentale..niente di che, ma almeno ci siamo riempiti la panza con mc Donald :). Il mio voto finale a questa agenzia è 5 stelle perché cerca di acontentare tutti. (Ps. Autista del taxi e un fenomeno. Molto bravo alla guido in una sorte di giungla cittadina)

Excellent trip from the pickup from the hotel to the return, the day trip was flawless. I would highly recommend this experience. Our guide, Ahmed spend the day sharing his knowledge. He was patient, had a sense of humour. The experience is one we will recall for many years and the cost was affordable.

We hebben onlangs een privéreis naar Caïro geboekt via dit bedrijf, en we konden niet tevredener zijn met de ervaring. Alles was perfect georganiseerd op voorhand terwijl we nog in het Verenigd Koninkrijk waren, en de prijs was zeer redelijk. Onze gids in Caïro, Ahmed, was absoluut uitstekend - zeer deskundig, vriendelijk en professioneel. Hij deelde zoveel interessante informatie over de geschiedenis en cultuur van Egypte, en de hele tour was goed - tempo en voelde nooit gehaast. We konden veel vragen stellen en Ahmed zorgde ervoor dat iedereen zich de hele dag op zijn gemak en betrokken voelde. Tijdens de reis kregen we een paar optionele extra's aangeboden, zoals een kameelrit op een uitzichtpunt en een korte Nijlcruise, die nog meer aan de ervaring toevoegden. Het was een volle en intense dag, maar het was het echt waard van begin tot eind. We zouden dit bedrijf ten zeerste aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een tour of excursie in Egypte te boeken. De organisatie, communicatie en algehele service waren uitstekend - ze maakten ons bezoek aan Caïro een onvergetelijke ervaring

I just wanted to share some wonderful moments from my recent trip to Cairo – it was truly an unforgettable experience! Akmed, our guide, was an absolute gem. His extensive knowledge and passion for the area made our trip incredibly enjoyable. The museum visit was fascinating, filled with relics from the past that left us in awe. The visit for tea where we were shown the different smells of perfumes was lovely. Of course, the Pyramids were a highlight. I had to pinch myself to believe I was actually standing in front of them! The entire trip was seamlessly organised, from the bus rides to the camel adventures – everything was top-notch. Our lunch with a view over the city at sunset was simply breathtaking, and the boat trip on the River Nile with all the twinkling lights was pure magic. We were so well looked after by Akmed and Mr Mustafa, our wonderful driver. I will remember this trip forever!

I booked a small group tour and ended up with a private tour, I would have preferred a group tour. Guide and driver were excellent. The only issue I had was we felt pressured in to buying at a perfume shop and papyrus shop we visited after the pyramids. We were taken out a back entrance from pyramids and taken into perfume shop. This was not mentioned when I booked tour. We felt really uncomfortable in the perfume shop. We felt we had no option to purchase something we did not want. I would have preferred a tour that only took in pyramids and Egyptian museum. This would have meant that that trip would have been finished by the afternoon. We left our hotel at 0330 am and did not get back until midnight. It was a very kind day that I feel did not need to be. One other thing was at Egyptian museum. The toilets had a sign saying no tipping. The attendant was extremely aggressive. I wouldn’t have had an issue but there was only 3 cubicles and 2 of them were filthy, disgusting unable to use, the attendant obviously not doing her job. Once again I would like to say guide and driver were excellent.

We booked with Book tour Egypt after another company cancelled our trip just days before it was supposed to happen due to “not buying tickets soon enough”. After that we booked the trip to Cairo via plane through this company which went smoothly. The team was very accommodating and transparent about any fees or extra charges which we really appreciated. Morning of the tour we got a message from our driver telling us to meet him outside the hotel. From there we went to the airport, where we had a delay but that wasn’t the agency’s fault but the airports. After arriving in Cairo, we immediately saw “book tour Egypt” sign which Ahmed, our guide was holding. We were divided into small groups (13 I think) which made our experience even better. Our first stop was Egyptian museum, Ahmed was so knowledgeable about every single thing in there. He made sure we saw all the details, and even carried a light so we could better see the mummies. Since we wanted to optimize our day, we decided to skip lunch, go to the pyramids and after that go to lunch. The pyramids were even greater than we imagined. Ahmed haggled a price for camel rides for us so we could go to the panoramic view point which was worth it. We got some amazing photos. We continued to the papyrus museum where we were showed how papyrus is made. And the perfume factory which was really nice and informative. We didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. Next was lunch which was okay, but the view on the top was amazing. We arrived at sunset so we could take wonderful pictures. Lastly we got a boat ride which was perfect to end the day. Quiet, surrounded by Cairo’s lights and splashing water. At the end Ahmed got us buns with cheese to eat at the airport which was so sweet of him. All in all, the trip is exhausting but worth it. Can’t imagine going by bus, plane is the way to go. To summarize: Plus: - AHMED (best guide ever), - our driver Mostafa (forgive the spelling) who kept us safe on Cairo roads, - complementary water all day long, - the sights, - plane ride Minus: - children begging and hustling (but that is to be expected sadly) - a bit of car sickness due to traffic Thank you for an amazing trip with unforgettable memories.

This was a fantastic experience! 10/10 day all around and I don't even know how they make their profit. Ahmad the tour guide was funny and knowledgable and it was such a wholesome day! Even the provided lunch was awesome! A lovely and unforgettable experience, it made my time at Egypt complete and I felt safe and looked after at every point! Book now ❤️

Escursione al Cairo in aereo molto bella da fare almeno una volta. Tutti molto disponibili a partire dal momento in cui sono venuti a prenderci alle 3.45 davanti il villaggio. Bravissima la guida Ahmed. Consigliato.
