's Ochtends wordt u opgehaald bij uw hotel. De reis voert u langs de Golf van Suez. Bij aankomst in Caïro wordt u verwelkomd door uw gids, die u gedurende de hele tour zal begeleiden. De excursie begint met een bezoek aan het Egyptisch Museum, dat naast de meer dan 120.000 tentoongestelde objecten ook de gouden sarcofaag van Toetanchamon herbergt, oftewel het Museum van het Oude Egypte. Na afloop geniet u van een lunch. De tour gaat verder naar de Grote Piramides van Cheops, Khafre en Menkaure. De piramidetour eindigt bij de Sfinx en de tempel eromheen. Indien de tijd het toelaat, krijgt u de gelegenheid om de bazaar van Caïro te bezoeken voordat u terugreist naar Sharm el Sheikh. Na een bezoek aan de piramides van Gizeh ga je naar de Grote Sfinx, verreweg de grootste en best bewaarde sfinx. Het bestaat uit een mensenhoofd op het lichaam van een leeuw. De Sfinx is uitgehouwen uit de rest van een kalkstenen heuvel die diende als steengroeve voor de Grote Piramide van Cheops. Duur ongeveer 20-30 minuten.
Aan het eind van de dag, omdat alle bussen moeten wachten op het konvooi dat van Caïro naar Sharm reist, maakt u een of twee van de volgende haltes: karakteristieke bezoeken aan het papyrusmuseum en de etherische oliefabriek. Parto con l'esporre il motivo del voto basso: ad ogni tappa del tour il tentativo di fare comprare souvenir o altro ( come tempo un50 e 50 tra attività e tentativi di vendita , per me inaccettabile in un tour così intenso). Unica nota positiva ( eccetto le piramidi che sono ovviamente meravigliose) la guida karahm preparata e competente. Partenza dal resort alle ore 23:45. Partenza da Sharm dopo l' 1:30. Arrivo a Sharm alle 10 e 30 . Giro al museo di 30 minuti , seguito da crociera sul Nilo (non effettuata perché non ritenuta fondamentale, l'alternativa è stata aspettare al Cairo non nel bus ma per strada; un caos tremendo). A seguire pranza senza infamia ne lode a buffet. Dopo finalmente piramidi e sfinge. Poi portati per circa 40 minuti in un negozio di essenze e per un altra ora in un negozio di papiri. Infine rientro a casa con arrivo alle 4:30 am ( il bus accompagna singolarmente le varie persone nei vari hotel senza servizio di smistamento con ulteriori navetta).

Le voyage en car est un peu long mais en vaut le détour! Notre guide Jamie était au top, toujours attentif des moindres détails et super sympathique, il nous a apprit énormément de choses!

Organizzata in modo eccellente, guida in italiano di nome Karam eccezionale , preparatissimo e competente e parla un italiano molto corretto . Viaggio un po’ lungo ma per colpa dei troppi punti di controllo .

The tour was well organised. special thanks to our tour guide Mr. sarwar. he was amazing. one thing i suggest is if time permits the tourists can have some shopping time near sphinx. be sure to bargain!.

Een geweldige ervaring! Mijn derde keer en de eerste keer van mijn partner op deze excursies. Gidsen zijn altijd behulpzaam, welbespraakt en deskundig. Volle dag beginnend bij het beroemde museum, had langer kunnen zijn, maar was een drukke dag en zag in ieder geval de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden. Optie om langs de rivier de Nijl te varen was leuk, en de piramides waren adembenemend! Gids gaf opties over waar te staan voor het beste uitzicht (hoefde niet bij de groep te blijven) en ik verloofde me voor piramides! Beste dag ooit! Een lange busrit is niet leuk voor iemand met mobiliteits- / rugklachten, maar de bus zelf was van goede kwaliteit en had toiletfaciliteiten (niet persoonlijk gebruikt, omdat er onderweg voldoende rustpauzes zijn).

Visiting the pyramids was an amazing experience, we had a lovely guide called Sarwat, very knowledgeable in Egyptian history. I would recommend seeing the 9 pyramids together (the iconic photo) which you have to pay an extra £10 for. The boat trip to the river Nile is something additional which they offer for an extra cost, it was not too great there was plastic bottles and rubbish along the side of the Nile, you can see the Nile from the pavement where the bus is parks up. The journey from sharm el shiekh to pyramids took 11hours goiing and 11 hours coming back altogether the trip from pick up to drop off was 27hours, very long and exhausting, there were regular stops.

This day trip was amazing, the whole trip was well organised and we got a lot for the small price we paid. It's a great alternative to expensive flight tickets to Cairo, and if you only want to see the pyramids, this is the perfect option. Our tour guide was 10/10.

We had a great time in Cairo! Our trip started at 11.30 on Thursday and we returned to our hotel at 4am Saturday morning so definitely not for the faint hearted! Our tour guide Sarwat showed us firstly round the Egyptian Museum, providing us with facts about the Egyptian Kings and Queens and showing us the most important areas, also giving us free time to look at the Tutankhamen area and see the mummies. We then went on a boat across the Nile river which cost extra but we would definitely recommend! Then we stopped for lunch at a restaurant (included in the cost) before continuing to the Pyramids of Giza, where you can take a camel across the 9 pyramids at an extra cost too. Then we saw the great sphinx which was also amazing. Sarwat made us feel like welcome guests, also providing us with guidance on how to deal with being hassled around the pyramids and great sphinx areas. He also showed us the best shops which had the best deals for Egyptian made artefacts so we were very satisfied with his help and guidance! We would definitely recommend doing this trip to anyone thinking about it as it is a once in a lifetime experience! Egypt was very safe and we had no issues on our tour.

Premetto che è stato un viaggio faticoso ma ne è valsa la pena. Siamo partiti la notte alle 01.00 e arrivati al Cairo alle 09.30. La gita è andata molto bene con la guida in italiano e finalmente ho visto le piramidi che desideravo tanto vedere! Un po’ forzate le visite ai bazar come quello di Franco, palesemente per spillare un po’ di soldi. Il ritorno è stato più faticoso perché non c’era un orario definitivo per la partenza e abbiamo dovuto aspettare che tutte le persone salissero sul pullman. Siamo ripartiti alle 18.30 e arrivati al resort alle 03.30. Consiglio a tutti questa esperienza perché complessivamente in un giorno si riesce a vedere una delle sette meraviglie al mondo! Grazie ☺️
