Je gekwalificeerde Egyptoloog-gids haalt je op bij je hotel / Nijlcruise in Luxor of Luxor International Airport en begeleidt je tijdens je bezoek aan de Westelijke Jordaanoever waar je de beroemde Vallei der Koningen kunt zien, waar veel koningen begraven liggen in deze vallei . De meest bekende graven zijn koning Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, koning Ramssess VI, koning Mrenptah en AmonhotepII.
Ga dan verder met het bezoeken van de majestueuze tempel van koningin Hatsjepsoet, die werd gebouwd door koningin Hatsjepsoet, dochter van Thutmosis I, die ongeveer 20 jaar in de 18e dynastie 1490-1469 v.Chr. Over Egypte regeerde, de enige faraonische vrouw die het oude Egypte regeerde.

Ga dan naar de prachtige Vallei der Koninginnen waar het graf van de Grote Koningin Nefertari ligt.
We reizen nu naar de East Bank in Luxor. Lunch in een lokaal restaurant. Na je lunch gaan we verder met het bezoeken van de Karnak-tempels, het grootste voorbeeld van aanbidding in de geschiedenis gewijd aan de God Amon, zijn vrouw Mut en hun zoon Khonsu.

MOHSENさんのガイドはとても分かりやすくて、難しい単語を使わずゆっくりと話してくれたので、英語が得意ではない私でも理解しやすかったです。 カイロのホテルが宿泊先でしたが、朝一の航空機でルクソールに到着し、そこからツアーに参加して21時ごろの便で帰っても、ルクソールを十分満喫することはできました。 あとは途中で何回かスーパーに寄ってもらうなど、融通を聞いてくださりありがとうございました。

We hadden een geweldige dag Luxor verkennen met Barry als onze gids! Hij is ongelooflijk goed geïnformeerd over de Egyptische geschiedenis en bracht elke site - de Vallei der Koningen en de Karnak-tempel - tot leven met fascinerende verhalen en inzichten. Een van de beste onderdelen van deze tour is de flexibiliteit. U kunt de starttijd aanpassen aan uw voorkeur. Ik merkte bijvoorbeeld dat de tweede dag in Luxor erg warm zou zijn, dus we vroegen om de tour eerder in de ochtend te starten — dit was gemakkelijk geregeld, waardoor ons bezoek veel comfortabeler werd. De hele dag was goed - georganiseerd, de auto was comfortabel, en Barry zorgde ervoor dat we gehydrateerd en koel bleven tussen stops. Deze tour is een perfecte balans tussen leren, sightseeing en persoonlijk comfort. Een aanrader voor iedereen die Luxor bezoekt!

We started the day at Luxor Temple, where Barry helped contextualize everything — explaining the difference between Upper and Lower Egypt, and walking us through the various kingdoms and dynasties. He brought the temple’s history to life in a way that made it stick. Then we headed to Karnak, which was way more massive than I was expecting!! After that, we explored the Valley of the Kings, stepping into tombs lined with rich hieroglyphics and intricate death prayers on the murals. At Hatshepsut’s Temple, Barry unpacked the fascinating political history there — almost as much drama & intrigue as Game of Thrones! We also stopped to see master alabaster craftsmen at work and enjoyed a refreshing lemon/lime tea, before capping off the tour with a delicious meal. Through the extreme heat, Barry’s knowledge, patience, and storytelling kept us engaged the whole way, and Taha was amazing at keeping us hydrated, cooled, and comfortable. All in all, my buddy and I are so appreciative of both Barry and Taha — and of Reflection Travel — for making this such a memorable day. Thank you so much!

We had Roshdy as our tour guide, who was amazing! He spoke very good english, was on time and waited patiently for us at the hotel. He contacted me the evening before the tour and offered whether we wanted to start earlier than our booked time as he rightly said it would be quite hot already if we started at 10AM. The van was airconditioned and our driver hamdy also drove with much care. Roshdy gave us lots of tips and made sure we were safe, and gave us great pointers (such as to avoid sitting at the front with the driver - on the 'gulf buggies', as the driver would ask for tip/money). He was very attentive and knew that we were not used to the heat and so made sure he rang the driver to get the aircon on to ensure that whenever we go back to the van it was nice and cool. Roshdy was also very knowledgeable and patient with us. We went to the sites that was on our tour itinerary, and he gave us the tickets to luxor temple as that was supposed to be our last stop. However he saw that we were already exhausted at that point and suggested he could give us the tickets to explore it either in the evening or the day after in our own time. The only thing to say however is that unfortunately one of the tickets he had given us - was apparently already used and the temple would not accept it so one of my friends had to buy their ticket, I'm sure this was just an accident and not done on purpose / an error with the ticket as all the other tickets given to us were fine. Overall I would definitely recommend this company / tour and especially our tour guide, Roshdy!! Thank you again Roshdy, you made us all feel comfortable and safe during this whole tour.

he took it by car to everywherey you can visit in Luksor and told the history of the place, but he did not visit all the places with us. He also made us pay for drinks in the program including meals. Other than that, he is a very polite and interested tour guide.

Mohsen is a very intelligent, passionate and kindhearted man. He showed us many of the best locations in Luxor such as the Valley of the Kings and the many temple ruins. Alongside this, he explained the stories behind the burials and temples through thorough detail. He seems very passionate and has worked very hard for all of his many years studying to achieve this knowledge. Not only did he teach us but cared for us as if we’d known him forever. He and his amazing driver, Ahmed did many things to get us a great experience. For example buying ice cream, grapes and cold water from his own pocket as a complimentary gesture. In all it was an incredible day of jokes, laughter and history. 5 Stars!

I had a fantastic experience, Mohsen and my driver were so accommodating and friendly, and Mohsen’s passion and knowledge about Luxor really shined through. I highly recommend this tour, honestly I enjoyed it even more than the Great Pyramids in Giza (hard to believe) but it’s truly spectacular!

I have no words to express how amazing the experience was. Our tour guide was Mohsen. He should be, honestly, teaching Acient History at any University in the world. He is so kowledgeable about everything. With a perfect english he was able to transport us to this wonderful places in Luxor. If I compare Mohsen with other tour guides we saw and heard along the way I can tell that he is so passionate about sharing the History of Egypt and also gives so many details that many others don't. About the tour, starting with the pick up on time from the hotel, we had private car with AC (wich is indispensable for this tour). Then we were taken to Valley of the Kings to visits the tumbs and follow by the Temple of Hatshepsut (Monumental construction). After that we went to Colossus of Memnon for quick photos. Around lunch time we were taken to a restaurant for lunch. (it's a buffet, not fancy but with few choices). To end the tour went to Temple of Karnak. Wich is in my opinion out of this world. 100% recommended.
