Boring dull lackluster experience
Extremely boring and dull. Great location and you’ll see stars only good thing part of it and the photos are great only time I was happy to pay someone . Now for the bad took 45 mins late from agreed time, short drive you’ll be lucky its approx 2 hours completely cramped with tourists legs touching each other and no break to stretch out the drive was genuinely awful no cushions to sit on and a migraine before it started. At the camp it’s okay but that’s all when it hits dark they have no lights at all you have to use phone flashlight, toilets are filthy only one tap worked, upselling at the camp for dead items, lunch was garbage told it was buffet they only had salad rice and two chicken drumsticks which we’re mediocre at best was left starving and ate at hotel. Getting told story time like babies even though majority weren’t interested and was telling us we don’t have a choice to sit and then leave or stand and listen to someone talk about the stars yawn would not recommend.

A different experience, true dark skies!!
The drive out was hairy, the driver was giving us the full experience of desert dunes and rocky terrain. (Careful if you have back problems). Beautiful sunset and dinner provided by a Bedouin family. Our guide Ibrahim was knowledgeable and informative, the exploration of the night sky was excellent. Saw the moon, Saturn, Venus and Jupiter via telescope clearly. Apologies, my photos would not load due to poor Internet.

Traumhafte Erfahrung!

Countless impressions for this little money
Wow! I expected this trip to be nothing more than just a ride through the desert and maybe a few brief moments looking through the telescope. I was wrong.
We’ve got a full package with a knowledgeable astronom showing us Cassiopeia constellation, and Jupiter, and Venus, and the Moon; an excellent guide, explaining the key aspects of bedouins’ lives some of which were even demonstrated; a simple but hearty dinner; a photographer with a camera with night lenses, who took us some scenic pics for just a little extra; and a driver passionate about Arabic music worth its own Spotify playlist.
All accompanied by a beautiful starry night with the shooting stars here and there, and naked rocks under the scorching sun forming a fascinating panorama.
Thank you very much!

Amazing trip! Totally worth it!
If you want to get to experience Hurghada and Egypt from a different side than the beautiful sea, the beaches and the amazing colorful fish, then this is the trip I recommend.
The jeep ride is just so much fun. I was sitting in the front seat next to our guide and driver. This way I had the perfect view. Very amazing to see only sand, rocks and the mountain ridge in the background while, bouncing through the desert. A stunning view.
But the quiet and the serenity was so stunning. Not a sound could be heard, very soothing for my ears.
Seeing how the Bedouin family lives in this scarce landscape was humbling for me.
As well as the beautiful light during the sunset and of course the stars, many many stars and information about them.
It was an remarkable trip, with a very calm and relaxed atmosphere, with great food but without a tight schedule.
So I thank our great driver Ahmad and our great guide Adam! They were both very authentic friendly guys who navigated us through the sand-highway safely and fed us with information about the desert and the stars!

A star studded experience
We were picked up from our hotel by our driver Musafa and our guide Ibrahim. We arrived at the Bedouin Village and enjoyed a short camel ride before making a short climb to view the sunset.
Returning to the village, we were given a short talk on the Bedouin lifestyle and were given the option of purchasing some of their hand made products at the "duty-free". These ranged from little wooden camels, teas, rugs and bags to hand made beauty products and herbal remedies which all smelled divine. We also got to taste some freshly made flatbead which was delicious!
After that we shown the planets through a telescope. Then we enjoyed a delicious meal by candle light.
Once we had finished our meal our guide to the stars, Ibrahim gave us a highly informative talk on the constellations in the night sky and he even educated us on how to use the stars to guide us home. The talk was fun and very educational and best of all we got to see the Milky Way.
After this we got back into the jeeps to be returned back to our hotel.
Overall, a briilliant experience, really can't recommend it enough. We would say that it is a must do when in Hurghada,
PS if you are going into the desert please remeber that it gets very cold there when the sun goes down, so make sure to pack some extra layers when you go.
