Bewonder het laatst overgebleven wereldwonder – een fantastische ervaring! Er zijn hier drie piramides: de piramides van Chefren, Cheops en Menkaure. U kunt de locatie te voet, te paard of per kameel verkennen. Duur: tussen de 2 en 3 uur. Na een bezoek aan de piramides van Gizeh gaat u naar de Grote Sfinx, verreweg de grootste overgebleven sfinx. Deze bestaat uit een mensenhoofd op het lichaam van een leeuw. De Sfinx is uitgehouwen uit de resten van een kalkstenen heuvel die diende als steengroeve voor de Grote Piramide van Cheops. Een tocht per felucca over de Nijl is tegen betaling beschikbaar.
Rond 4 uur wordt u opgehaald bij uw hotel. Bij aankomst in Caïro wordt u opgewacht door uw gids die u tijdens de tour zal begeleiden.

Het verdere verloop van de excursie brengt u naar de grote piramides van Cheops, Chephren en Mykerinus. De rondleiding door de piramides eindigt bij de Sfinx en de tempel eromheen. Aan het eind van de dag, als de tijd het toelaat, heeft u de gelegenheid om te gaan winkelen voordat u aan de terugreis naar Hurghada begint.
Als de terugvlucht vanuit Caïro in de late avond plaatsvindt, zullen we wat tijd doorbrengen met een bezoek aan het middeleeuwse Londen (Khan el Kalili Market), het oude Caïro, onlangs toegevoegd aan de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst, of Cairo Festival City, een extra groot winkelcentrum (met airconditioning), een van de grootste in het Midden-Oosten. Vol met de beroemdste internationale merken, restaurants, cafés en een enorme kleurrijke dansende fontein waar je wordt aangetrokken door het chique, moderne nachtleven van Caïro.
Bij aankomst op de luchthaven wordt u in een auto met airconditioning naar uw hotel gebracht.
Als we tijd hebben kunnen we twee karakteristieke bezoeken brengen aan het Papyrusmuseum en de Essentiële Oliefabriek. Deze twee attracties laten je kennismaken met oude Egyptische technieken voor het maken van papyrus en essences. Deze twee interessante bezoeken zullen je kennis over het dagelijks leven in het oude Egypte vergroten en zullen ook nuttig zijn voor de Egyptische boeren die in deze sectoren werken en deze zeer oude ambachten uit het oude Egypte behouden. (Deze bezoeken zijn afhankelijk van de resterende tijd.)
Daarna heeft je geest rust nodig. Zo kunt u bijvoorbeeld heerlijk tot rust komen tijdens een boottocht op de Nijl en Caïro vanaf het water ontdekken.

Was great and well coordinated. Received all flight information and logistics in more than enough time. It is a long day, but there is also a lot to see. It is also hot but I mean its Egypt. A lot of walking but an AMAZING experience.

Surclassement visite privée le guide était très gentil et très intéressant nous avons bien aimé le musée et les pyramides de Gizeh sauf le harcèlement autour des pyramides le tour en calèche à 25 € n'était pas nécessaire et on n'a pas apprécié c'est dommage car tout était bien organisé merci à book Égypt tour

Bellissima gita, fantastica guida (soprannome il cobra) ci ha portato oltre che ai soliti siti, piramidi museo, ristorante, e mercato) a scendere in una piramide di una regina dove cunicolo e scala erano più ampie e meno soffocati di cheope che ha un costo non indifferente. Tutto perfetto, guida, autista, pranzo, mercatini vari ma ATTENZIONE!!.... Gli orari sono poco chiari... L'orario indicato (ore 06 del mattino) non è l'orario del prelievo al resort ma del resort ma del DECOLLO DELL'AEREO, QUINDI alle 5 dovrete essere in aeroporto e vi preleveranno alle 3,45 del mattino!.... Faticaccia (alle piramidi ad ottobre erano 35 gradi....) ma noi sessantenni c'è l'abbiamo fatta.... C'è la farete anche voi a vivere un'esperienza unica!!! Good trip!!

Long day but worth every minute. From pick up to return everything was as expected. Ahmed our guide was extremely knowledgeable, funny and engaging. His tour was excellent and he ensured we got everything out of our visit to Cairo and the pyramids. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to hit the highlights of the pyramids and Cairo in one day.

Fahmi was een geweldige gids en zo behulpzaam. We zagen de piramides en de beste plekken om een foto te maken. Ik waardeerde dat we waren een kleine groep!

Hallo, der Ausflug war insgesamt sehr schön. Der Reiseleiter und der Fahrer waren fantastisch – großes Lob dafür! Was allerdings nicht ganz reibungslos verlief, war die Rückreise. Am Flughafen in Kairo war unsere Gruppe komplett auf sich allein gestellt, was zu einiger Verunsicherung geführt hat. Auch der Rücktransfer zum Hotel war verbesserungswürdig: Erst nach mehrfachem Hinterhertelefonieren wurden wir abgeholt, wodurch eine Wartezeit von etwa 45 Minuten entstand. Abgesehen davon war es jedoch ein gelungener und schöner Ausflug. Mit freundlichen Grüßen S.B

Es war ein rundum gelungener Ausflug, unser Reiseleiter Achmet ist auf alle Wünsche eingegangen. Er hat uns auch noch Alt-Kairo gezeigt und uns beim Souvenirkauf unterstützt. Außerdem wurden wir vom Flughafen abholen und wieder hin gebracht. Wir würden die Tour jederzeit wieder machen.

From our hotel it was a very smooth and easy process as we were picked up from the hotel to the airport and back after the trip. Once we landed at the airport we was greeted by fahme which was our tour guide. Very friendly and funny character who made a conscious effort to make the experience the best he could. He gave us a lot of factual history of Egypt and Cairo from the city of the dead the live count of people in Egypt and many more. The journey was about half an hour from the airport to the pyramids as we booked for Friday. Once we got to the pyramids we were offered two additional experiences which were the Nile cruise and camel ride with a view of all the pyramids which was very good. As expected we tipped a long the way which was fine. Our guide told us other than the camel rides don’t tip in the pyramids which was helpful. Mahmood was helpful to stop beggars from getting money from our group. We spent a good enough amount of time at the pyramids, roughly 3 hours and going into the tombs. Wouldn’t advise if you are claustrophobic as it did get hot and crowded and someone got stuck on their way out which just added a little bit of stress not the guides fault at all. Fahme and mahmood made an effort to get some nice photos of us and funny ones which was great. After the tour we went to a few extra places. 1 was a fragrance store where we could get out of the sun and relax for a bit, if you wanted to buy fragrances you could however if not it was nice to just rest for a bit. Next we went to lunch which was air conditioned and had a view of the pyramids as mentioned. Food was all included however drinks were additional cost. Food was nice and a variety was offered from different meats to rices deserts etc. After lunch we went to another store which sold hieroglyphics which was pretty cool. We then went to the museum after that . Museum was 50/50 a few items had been removed to put into the new museum opening in November so there were a few empty boxes. The only other critic was we couldn’t spend enough time to look around the history and taken in the information there. After this we went to the river Nile and had a nice relaxing boat cruise through the Nile. We had some time left over so we was able to go to get some food and chill for a bit before being taken back to the airport for our flight back. Overall amazing experience other than the museum.
