Great experience - great service
I booked this tour and several others through Egypt Tailor Made Tours:
Pyramids Tour: It's the Pyramids, what can you say. Go visit them, even if it's the only thing you do in Egypt. Saqqara and Memphis are also definitely worth a visit: You learn how the whole idea of building pyramids evolved and developed over the centuries. Also, the alabaster burial chambers in Saqqara are beautiful.
Quad Tour around the Pyramids: This one's fun. You get some nice views of the Pyramids in between, but most of the time you just get to drive up and down the sand dunes. Take something with you to cover your mouth, and don't dress up fancy.
Trip to Wadi al Hitan: The Valley of the Whales is quite some way from Cairo out in the desert. There is a small museum there with a few associated buildings, all very tastefully done so that it fits into the environment. You can find the whale skeletons by walking on a marked path through the sand, where they are just lying in the sun, with bone fragments littered throughout. This is quite the spectacular place, especially if you are interested in evolution, and the drive and walk through the desert further add to the experience.
Egyptian Museum / Old Cairo: The Egyptian Museum has too many artifacts to display them properly, but it's definitely worth a visit, especially as long as it has the treasure from King Tut's grave on display. Old Cairo has a huge souvenir market to offer for those who lean that way; if you are more interested in history, there are some nice examples of medieval islamic architecture.

Egypt Tailor Made Tours: As for the tour operator, it's easy to see where these guys get their reputation from. When booking the tours, I was dealing with the owner directly, Walid Fatih. His response times were excellent, which is just what you're looking for when booking tours to a foreign country. He was also very flexible in arranging the tours, and took care to ensure that everything was alright after the tours had started.
Walid does his business by hiring freelancers who then do the actual guiding and driving. Both my driver (Zizou) and guide (Sabry) were very good. Zizou did a great job navigating the Cairo traffic with skill and experience. Sabry is a very hard-working and educated man who provided lots of interesting information, especially on ancient Egypt. As a bonus, he also knew some great spots from where to take pictures.
Conclusion: A great experience overall, with no complaints whatsoever. Five stars.

Pyramid Tour
I had excellent fun with Laila as my guide! She was very helpful and knew alot about the history of Egypt! Her English was good and she always tried to do her best for us. Thanks again Laila for being a brilliant guide. I would fully recommend this trip with Egypt Tailor made and Laila to anyone.

Amazing Trip with Heba from Egypt Tailor Made Day Tours!
Wow! What a great tour! It was very easy to set up the tour with Walid from Egypt Tailor Made Day Tours, and our guide Heba was amazing. She took great photos, was super knowledgable and energetic, and was very accommodating when we wanted to stop for coffee, take photos from particular angles, etc. Would highly recommend Egypt Tailor Made (and Heba specifically) to anyone who wants to learn a lot and have a great time!

Excellent private tour
We did a custom 2.5 day tour including a Nile dinner cruise, full day of Pyramids/Sphinx/Saqqara/Memphis, and Cairo day tour which included the Museum, tour of mosques, felluca boat ride, and trip to the bazaar. Amr Moussa was our guide and was extremely knowledgable and friendly. Everything was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this tour company and guide. My wife and I were very pleased. The drivers were also prompt and did a great job navigating the crazy Cairo traffic.

Awesome tour of giza pyramids, saqqara and Memphis
We booked our tour with Egypt tailor made over the phone after seeing such good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Mido and Mostafa were excellent. They catered to our needs and planned our tour accordingly. Mido is a great guide and very knowledgeable. We had a great time and ofcourse the Pyramids are MINDBLOWING!!!

Incredible day with an incredible guide!
I spent an incredible day on this Egypt tailor made tour! Of course the attractions themselves are breathtaking, but this tour was really more than that. I genuinely cried with laughter for a good five minutes and had a really great time with our lovely and hilarious guide Laila. We were made to feel super comfortable and we felt more like friends on a trip than customers. Would highly recommend, including for solo female travellers 😊

The best in Egypt
My family and I used Egypt Tailor Made for our 5-day stay in the Cairo area, and the company was excellent in accommodating our desires along the way. Walid, the owner, was very accessible and commincative, answering every question -- even the smallest, silliest ones -- and updating our itinerary if there was even a slight change.
Through Tailor Made, we visited Alexandria, Luxor, the Giza Necropolis/Memphis/Saqqara, and explored Cairo. Sabry, our guide to everywhere but Luxor, is one of the best in the country. An Egyptologist, Sabry was incredibly knowledgeable about even the smallest details on the smallest pillar ruins; he was kind, gracious and communicative, and ALWAYS early to come pick us up for our day. We HIGHLY recommend Sabry and hope we will see him again next time in Egypt!

Amazing Tour!!
My family and I really enjoyed our tour with Egypt Tailor Made!! We were picked up at our hotel in a spacious AC'd van and taken to visit Saqqara, Memphis, and last but not least, the Giza Pyramids! Mido was so informative and we could really see his love for Egyptian history shine through, between this and his personable demeanor everything became more than just a tourist attraction and turned into a priceless, genuine experience that we will take with us for years to come. He was very considerate of our two small children and we were able to stop for more bottles of water or a snack any time they were needed. We're so thankful to have booked this tour, we had many other tours during our stay in Egypt and this one was by far our favorite! I highly recommend!

Excellent tour
We organised a private 2 day tour through Egypt tailor made tours and they were excellent in all aspects of the tour. We were met at the airport and for the next 2 days everything was done for us. Our guide was Laila and our driver was Shaba. Both were professional and knowledgeable. Laila was enthusiastic and very proud of her heritage. Having a private tour meant we had control of the amount of time we spent at different attractions and this was especially good when we were at the Pyramids and we were allowed to stay as long as we liked and not be rushed to leave. Our hotel, Le Meridian Pyramids, was very good and our rooms had a full view of the Pyramids. I would totally recommend this company and our great guide and driver.

48 hours in Cairo
We have just had the best 2 days in Cairo with the best tour guide ever, Laila, and the best driver ever, Shaban from Egypt Tailor Made Tours. As our time was limited, Laila showed us the highlights - the museum, the bazaar, the pyramids, the sphinx, the sights of Seqqara and Memphis and a night on the Nile, all the while keeping us very well informed with her excellent knowledge of Egyptian history. Shaban steered us effortlessly through the mad traffic of Cairo to our various destinations. Almost the best part of our trip were the falafel sandwiches that Laila magically produced for our lunches at our special request. We would highly recommend Laila and Shaban as they made us feel very comfortable and safe at all times during our tour and we really enjoyed their company.
