Geweldige tour! Shymaa vertelde ons veel geschiedenis over onze bestemmingen, en we gingen naar een aantal extra stops om papyrus, oliën, kruiden en sieraden te zien. Onze chauffeur kwam op tijd en was altijd klaar en wachten toen we hem nodig hadden.

We hadden een uitstekende tijd. Ahmed (onze gids) was zeer goed geïnformeerd en leerde ons veel over de geschiedenis van de stad. Maged (onze chauffeur) was zeer beleefd en navigeerde ons goed door de stad. Zou het ten zeerste aanbevelen

Doaa was een geweldige gids. We leerden zoveel van haar over de geschiedenis van Egypte en over religie vanuit Egyptisch perspectief. Doaa was heerlijk, deskundig, begrijpelijk en we hebben nog nooit zoveel geleerd op een tour als deze. Ik wou dat ik haar had gefilmd zodat ik me alles kon herinneren wat ze ons uitlegde. De tour was ongelooflijk. Mis dit niet en vraag Doaa aan.

I had a great first day in Cairo. I saw all the sites in Old Cairo I wanted to see and more. I felt very safe the whole day with my guide Ahmed and his driver as a woman traveling alone. Ahmed was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking the tour.

I had a great time and saw a lot on this tour! Anyone who is interested in architecture, religious history, or both will enjoy the experience. Simon was very friendly and knowledgeable and took me to a couple of local spots in the bazaar for items I was particularly interested in, and we had a nice little rest at one of the coffee shops. She also offered to take pictures of me at the various places we visited, which any solo traveler knows is one of the hardest things to accomplish on one's own. I recommend this tour and if you have Simon as your guide even better!

When we booked this tour last minute, I didn't realise that our guide was just that - our guide - not one of a group of people - no radio mic with the earpiece that aches after 5 mins- this was a one on one guide all to ourselves. We met our guide, Simon ( Simone ), in the lobby of our hotel, introduced ourselves, and then we were on our way with our private driver (so cool). Our itenary was to visit Islamic Cairo, Coptic Cairo, Khan el Khalili markets, and a felucca ride. Right from the start, Simon was great, taking time to show us things of interest, pointing out historical items, and taking photos for us, of us. Unfortunately, due to an upset stomach, we cut the tour short, missing out the markets and the felucca, which i am sure would have been awesome. If you read this, and you get to Cairo, and you want to be treated that extra bit special, do yourself a favour and contact Simon. She knows her stuff! I'm keeping her whatsapp for the next time we come to Egypt.

The booking process and communication from company wasn’t as smooth as I would have expected with messages being sent and then deleted, And offer of a reduced fee pick up was given and then removed without explanation. My guide Simon was very friendly and helpful and made my day a very enjoyable experience - her knowledge of Egyptian history and the places we visited was very comprehensive and I leave alot from her. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler and the tour was everything I had Hope and more.
