Cruising on Mirage 1 down the Nile
I think the cruise on the Nile is a wonderful way to experience and absorb both modern and ancient Egypt. I booked the cruise with Viator from Australia and Mohamed from Egypt Unlimited Tours handled everything after my booking is confirmed. Communication is almost instantaneous regarding arrival details etc. I was met by EUT representative in Aswan airport and immediately driven to my hotel 2 days before the cruise & really appreciate that because I was under the impression that it is complimentary.
On day 1 Mustafa, my guide took me to the site of the Broken obelisk, the Aswan dam and the Philae temple but missed the felucca sail.
Day 2 Off to Abu Simbel ( extra US100) early in the morning and for me it's worth it and then back on the Mirage 1 for lunch and at 1 PM we're off cruising to Luxor and the ship dropped anchor at KomOmbo temple about 4 PM.
Day 3 Early start to Edfu temple on the horse and cart; then back on board to pass the Esna lock and at 3 PM to Karnak temple and finished the day at Luxor temple
Day 4 started with hot air balloon (extra US100) but the ride missed the valley of the kings which was a bummer.
But as part of the tour package Mustafa took me to the valley of the kings and finished the tour with the visit to Queen Hatshepsut mortuary temple at Deir el Bahri and Mustafa dropped me at my hotel in Luxor.
The Mirage 1 is not exactly deluxe compared to the Movenpick but it's spacious and clean and it's got a small pool on the sun deck. My room is very 1980s in its decor but clean, fresh and spacious. The bathroom is also clean and has lots of railings to hang your washings. The food on board are buffet style ; quite plentiful and delicious.
Bottled water is provided by EUT; Not by the cruise ship.
Please bring with you as much as possible small EGP notes and/or USD1& USD5 for tips to the driver, horseman and sail boat man to Philae temple because at the end of the cruise it is also customary to tip between USD 10-15 to be split amongst the ship's crews. I knew all about this and therefore had factored in the cost into my budget. Mustafa, my guide, was very good and I had ample time for selfies and quite happy with the outcomes.
In spite of missing the felucca ride I'm still quite happy with the overall trip 🙂

Superb tour in Eygpt - Eygpt Unlimited Tour was very well organised
I have just returned from a week in Eygpt - the 4 day 3 night cruise was action packed and great fun. The compnay Eygpt Unlimited Tours was very well run and Mohammed was very helpfull answering questons and booking internal flights for me before we left. Ahmed our guide was fantastic and tailored each visit on the trip to suite us. When we came to say goodbye it was one of our holiday group was leaving - I highly recommend the trip.

Al Nabilatan Nile Cruise Review (with Private Tour)
What I like:
-The representatives of the company were nice and humble.
-Smooth communication during booking and reservation.
-They gave me Abu Simbel private tour for a group tour price due to some mistakes from their side (after I refused to pay for a private tour and stressed out that I was unhappy to be cheated).
-The full board meals (food was ok, not great, but the desserts were all good).
-The ship has an elevator.
-Entrance fees all included.
-Guide speaks good English (and was very helpful in taking photos).
-All of the places covered under their itinerary are interesting, important and sufficient.
What I don't like:
-I was promised a different ship, and they told me that Al Nabilatan is an upgrade (I don't believe this).
-They booked my place only on the day that I arrived (I paid 2 weeks earlier).
-The room and toilet were not very clean (especially the fridge was super dirty).
-Jacuzzi on sundeck was not working.
-The swimming pool was too small, like a children's pool.
-Confirmed me earlier for additional Abu Simbel group tour and then tried to push me for a private tour because they claimed group tour not available (resolved).
-Tour guide lectured me about I must leave tips and all (I left tips, but only when the service is good).
-Extra charge for wifi that only works in the lobby.
-Drinks not included in the full board meals.

Amazing and relaxing cruise tour
This 4 days tour gave us the relaxing time and amazing story with historical place.
They supported to pick us up from Aswan airport even if the day is before one day.
Although we had the problem with lost baggage, we could solve this matter in one day with their support. We are very grateful to them.
Of course, every visit was wonderful. I was very satisfied with this tour.

Amazing and very responsible tour!!
Egypt Unlimited was really good. Mohamed and Salah ensured our 4 days turned out really good. Everything went so smoothly and we learnt so much, saw so much and will remember so much. The cruise taking us from site to site, Salah always there to teach us more. Thanks to both of you! Will remember those 4 days forever

Only one word to describe our 4 days: AMAZING!
Writing this review because I realise how difficult it can be to find a reliable travel agent. We booked Mohamed's Egypt Unlimited Tour and would definitely recommend it.
To begin with, before the trip, he was extremely fast at getting back to us over WhatsApp. One of the flight we had booked to get to return from Luxor was fully booked and we couldn't have made it back in time. Guess what, even though that wasn't even part of the tour or booked through them, he went out of his way to have it sorted out going to Egypt Air office! VERY good first impression.
When it comes to the cruise and the private tour it was amazing. We had Salah as a guide who was tremendous. He was extremely knowledgeable and very good at giving the historical context whenever we arrived somewhere. Unlike some tours where you'd kind of just be listening, we were truly engaged across all the sites we visited.
Now, when it comes to the cruise, food on board, etc. That was also a very good experience. Room was spacious, food was good, really nothing to complain about.
Anyway, I TRULY recommend EGYPT UNLIMITED for any of your needs in Egypt. As mentioned above, we just did the cruise and private tour Aswan > Luxor but I'm sure they'd do a great job with anything else.

Unforgettable experience we'd recommend to everyone!
I have to congratulate the organisers on the impeccable logistics of the whole trip - from the airport pickup in Aswan, timely transportation to each site (not to mention the additional Abu Simbel and hot air ballooning, which I couldn't recommend enough!) and fantastic guidance from Ahmed - an immensely knowledgeable guide who made us feel like we weren't tourists, but rather visitors to all the sites (which fits our travelling style perfectly).
Overall, if you've been wondering whether to pick this one, wonder no further!

The Best Tour in unknown country!!
We were family of four including two teenagers. Our guide was Ashraf. And we took 3N/4D Nile tour + Abu Simbe visit before cruise.
Ashraf was very soft spoken guide at Abu Simbel, had all knowledge of King Ramses II & Nefertari. Spent 30min explaining the two temples, well advised not to use cameras inside without ticket.
We were lucky to have Ashraf again as our tour guide on Nile Cruise. Obviously every temple has a different story behind its constructions, Egyptian gods & kings who built them with specific purpose. Ashraf was again walking encyclopedia for all our questions at all the places. One important point - The shipping company is different than the travel company (Aswan Travels & Tours in our case). Ship was late twice. First at the start & then at the time of reaching Luxor. At both the times, Ashraf thought on the go, altered our itinerary to suit changed times. He offered us 'Light & Sound' show at Karnak temple which we otherwise would have missed. He also offered Balloon ride, it turned out to be one of the highlights for us. And for every altered program there was his colleague waiting to drop us or receive us. We were never - I repeat - never left on our own. We never felt anxious of missing a connection or finding us stranded anywhere. Hats off to their vast network of boatmen, fellucca, cars, guides!!
At the booking time - Mr. Mohmoud was as professional as they come. He made a point to offer flexibility around Aswan, Abu Simbel etc. He also made a point to come on ship & greet us with delicious Dates & Arabian Nuts before we started our tour.
Overall, a very rewarding & satisfying experience. I definitely recommend this professional company.
