So this is 2 different reviews for this package.
First is for the tour guide and all of the sites we saw along the way:
100/10.
Our tour guide was Ahmed. Best tour guide I've had traveling to over 50+ countries. His knowledge is next level and he knows how to read a room. Some people want to spend 5 min seeing things others 5 hours, he lets you go at your own pace while explaining everything along the way. Also was able to let us know when to tip/how much as well as meeting us all along the way, which for him could be up to 3 hours or more from his home town. Helped us negotiate prices of things we wanted to buy and showed us his favourite local spots to hit up to eat. The 3 of us unanimously agreed he was the bees knees. Couldn't recommend him more!!
Second part of review.... the boat.
So we didn't get much info about which boat we were traveling on before the cruise, so be it, came into it with an open mind. Our boat was pretty outdated, service was decent, and food was beyond bland. Wasn't expecting a mega cruise ship and all its modern amenities, but we saw some other boats along the nile that seemed much nicer, and it would be great if this tour company would allow you to choose your own boat, could charge more don't care about that, to make sure your expectations met your experience. Keep in mind this portion of the review has nothing to do with the actual sites/tour guide just the boat, of which the tour company has no true affiliation with besides partnering up for the cruising portion of this package. Wi-Fi was non existent, drinks on board are 4-5X as much as they would be on land. (buy a bottle or two in duty free at aswan airport, if that's where you're flying into first, if not stop at a drinkies in luxor to bring some booze at a way lower price point on board the ship. You have a fridge and are allowed to bring on your own supplies.) Linens and towels were "Clean" but always looked and seemed dirty and rooms/doors are very thin so you hear everything in the hallways and above you. If you can choose, try to get a room on the 2nd or 4th floor, not the third. People were making a lot of noise on early morning excursions ie 4:30am so bring some industry standard ear plugs if you are not joining those optional early morning excursions. Other than that the boat floated, sun was out and was an enjoyable transportation option to get you in between cities/sites.

Great cruise!
Before my trip to Egypt I was in doubt if I wanted to book a cruise or not. I went for it though and I was so happy that I've chose this one. Everything was perfect! Our tour was very small, just me and another passenger, which made it so much more personal. Mostafa was a great guide, he has so much knowledge about the history of Ancient Egypt and can answer any question. The cruise was wonderful, on the Blue Shadow ship. The room was great as well. I liked that every day there was something going on on board, from afternoon tea on the sun deck to specialised parties and belly dancers. One evening we had Egyptian food in the restaurant, which was a great way to taste the local dishes.

Excellent Trip and Memorable Experience
It was a very memorable trip. It exceeded my expectation - the accommodation, food and the tour. Our tour guide Mahmoud was very helpful with the tour. He took us to the sites just in time when there isnt much crowd. The boat MS Medea was super clean and I never felt like I was travelling so convenient, like we were staying in a normal hotel. Boat doesnt smell. Food was just excellent and sanitary.

Egipto por el Nilo
Iniciaré por confesar que tuvimos muchas dudas sobre si tomar el crucero o no, ya que los comentarios eran variados y opuestos. Sin embargo, nos decidimos y no nos arrepentimos. Si bien tendrán que madrugar la mayoría de los días, el itinerario permite descansar por la tarde y noche. Tendrán la oportunidad de visitar los puntos imperdibles de Egipto y acompañados por su guía. En nuestro caso, pagamos el paquete con guía privado, así que tuvimos a Ahmed para nosotras solas. Ahmed fue muy atento y brindó información interesante doble cada lugar que visitamos.
Nuestro camarote tenia vista al Nilo y disfrutamos mucho de esa vista durante el viaje. Quiero destacar que temíamos que la comida no fuera buena, pero tanto desayuno, como comida y cena son buffet y además de lo tradicional incluían algunos platillos de comida internacional para satisfacer todos los gustos. Además, por ser buffet no quedaras con hambre. Y qué decir del personal! Muy amables y agradables todos.
Mi único pero es en cuanto a las actividades y shows nocturnos, la segunda noche según fue una fiesta típica pero estuvimos muy aburrida, solo eran juegos como de fiesta infantil jajaja, tipo papa calienta, así que mejor nos fuimos a dormir. La última noche fue el show interesante cin danza típica, lamentablemente fue ya más tarde y teníamos que madrugar para el checkout y continuar con el tour hacia el valle d elos reyes así que nos lo perdimos. En general, lo recomiendo mucho, considero que termina por ser más cómodo y económico que visitar todo por su cuenta.

BEST SOLO TRIP EVER!
I decided to do a solo trip for my 30th Birthday, all I can overall it was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE thanks to this your company!
- From the moment I landed in Aswan, there was somebody already waiting and greeted me by the luggage area!
- Transport through the whole trip was in a upgraded AC vehicle, very clean, comfortable etc
- Checking into the Cruise and my experience there for the whole 4 days was one to remember! All the staff was super friendly! food was aamzing, cabin room was very cosy. They did a special birthday surprise for me and looked after me very well!
- Communication with Mohammed was very smooth from first enquiry and throughout, everything was catered for and I was very looked after!
Mohammed himself greeted me on mynfirdt night there and biught me some lovely gifts, which I am forever grateful for!
- My tour guide Moustapha was very knowledgeable, respectful, amazing at taking pictures for me!
Especially being a solo female traveller, it was the hest experience I've ever had! Honestly hands on heart, amazing people and beautiful memories :)

Great Experience!
The tour was excellent and very pleasant! Amr was our guide, picking us up at Aswan airport and leaving us at Luxor airport, so he stayed all the time with us, inclunding in the cruise boat.
He explained a lot of interesting things about the attractions, gave us important information and left us with time to explore by ourselves and take some pictures!
I strongly recommend this tour!

Wonderful cruise of the Nile with an attentive crew.
It was smooth sailing for my traveling companion and myself. The crew were excellent and accomodating. (My traveling companion speaks Arabic...which helps a lot!)
In March it was too cold to go swimming, but the pool was filled.
Food was very good. (I especially like the salads. Wonderful combination of ingredients and flavors.)
I see no reason not to recommend this trip.

Ship environment was cozy, room was clean and cozy too. Restaurant food was delicious, high quality with variety of dishes. Staff was nice very attentive and helpful. We had our own personal guide Salami who told interesting stories about the glorious Egyptian temples. Everything was organized to a great level.

The holy grail of Egypt travel arrangements!
If you found this page, please STOP looking anywhere else!! You have found the gold mine of Egypt travel help in Mohamed with Egypt Tours Unlimited!
We are two world traveling women from the States, We have been many places and have arranged a lot of travel. Egypt was daunting just in the amount of places to visit and the ways it can be done. Once we found Mohamed, literally EVERYTHING fell into place! He arranged our Nile cruise (within our very tight timeline), added Abu Simbel for us with flights and tour guides and full private transfers always. Our guides were exceptional both for their knowledge and for their ease of being with people and letting you discover on your own as well as take their helpful knowledge. All of our in-country flights were arranged by Egypt Tours Unlimited, including escorts in the airports, which seems unnecessary until you see firsthand what is involved in Egypt. We visited Cairo with all the sites, Abu Simbel, all the sites on the Nile cruise, and then hit the Red Sea-- with help from Mohamed at every destination! Even unplanned excursions like Mt. Sinai were seamlessly accomplished by Mohamed on short notice which, in retrospect, seeing what was involved, is astounding. Call Mohamed and just take your mind off everything for your trip to Egypt except packing your bag!
