An amazing, comfortable, safe way to travel to the most beautiful places in Egypt
We were thinking about what the best way to visit several temples and important Egyptian sites during our vacation, and found this tour. After reading the reviews, we decided it was worth the try, and we could not be more satisfied with the outcome.
In our hotel in Aswan we were greeted by our travel guide Sayed. He is an egyptologist and has great experience as a tour guide, and is a good communicator, with great english and an even better mood. We were picked up in a private car, just for us, with AC and comfortable. This was the level that was maintained in the entire trip, all the way to our Hotel in Luxor, and Sayed always made sure we were informed of everything, well hydrated, always getting us cold water and beverages, and even complemented the tour with additional stops to see traditional Egyptian products and techniques from his friends. He explained the history of all the stops and more, and provided additional accommodations when we had any difficulty. His method is great - show the site, explain the history and some curiosities, then leave you free time to explore on your own and take photos. No queues, no complications with him! We could not be happier with our guide, and we have the pleasure to call him a true friend. On top of that, he’s a great photographer! The photos are proof of that.
The deluxe cruise took place in the Jaz Queen Jubilee, a beautiful ship with excellent accommodations. The bed was huge and comfortable, the room had more than enough space for everything, a balcony with a beautiful view of the Nile with two chairs for our comfort, even a mini fridge to keep our water cold! The bathroom was private and comfortable. The only downside was the wifi service, that did not work, despite the information that it did. The staff onboard was always eager to provide assistance, and had a smile ready for all occasions. Towels for the pool, room service, all meals were included, the buffet style meal area had excellent food, service and good prices for the beverages, that were the only paid things. A special thank you goes to Mohamed, the waiter that was in our area all days. He always had a smile to put us in a good mood despite the early wake-up times!
Through the entire process, the staff from Egypt Unlimited has been excellent in taking care of us, and making sure we were always well informed and well nourished. We fully recommend this trip for any first comer to Egypt!
Notes: we have decided to do the additional visit to Abu Simbel, which we recommend, as it is the most beautiful temple. The cost was $120/person and it was made on a private car from Aswan (3.5 hour drive to each side).
Recommendations: have change in EGP ready for tips to drivers, guards of temples that help with photos, etc; beware of scams, research prices before buying; bring SPF 50 subscreen; don’t count on the ship’s wifi, you will probably not have good internet access for 4 days, so invest in a SIM card if that is necessary.

Séjour inoubliable
Bateau de très bon confort avec un personnel aux petits soins. La restauration est très variée et de bonne qualité. Nous avions choisi l’option visite guidée privée avec véhicule privé et nous ne regrettons absolument pas d’avoir fait ce choix car toute la logistique des visites est prise en charge par le guide et le chauffeur ce qui permet de profiter pleinement et en toute sérénité. Nous avons aussi choisi la visite du site de Abu Simbel et le vol en montgolfière: à faire absolument même si cela nécessite de quitter le bateau à 4 heures du matin.Ce sont 2 excursions incroyables !!
Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette croisière qui nous a permis de découvrir de manière très confortable et pratique les sites incroyables de l’Egypte antique.

Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor and all ancient Egyptian temples
Our guide Mohamed was excellent. We throughly enjoyed the ancient Egyptian history, which he is very well versed in and has a passion for. Mohamed had a good command of the English language and his explanations of the events of the Nubian people through their temples and was very easy to understand. Mohamed also went the extra mile to help us with other personal things during our tours. He took good care of us during our stay in Aswan and Luxor.

Aswan to Luxor - 5 Stars
I can not describe the beauty, wonder, history of our experience in Egypt via a review but can only add that that knowledge, friendliness and attention to detail provided by Ahmed Salameh elevated my family trip beyond words. Ahmed was knowledgeable, resourceful, and paid attention to every detail. He was with us from Aswan to Luxor at every amazing stop with information and a fresh perspective. When we go back Ahmed will definitely be part of our trip. Thank you so much Ahmed for making this epic trip more than we expected.

Excellent Cruise and Guide!
We had an absolutely wonderful trip! All the arrangements were well made and all our requests were accommodated without hesitation. We recieved truly personal service and it was a worry free experience from beginning to end!
Special shout out to our guide Mr. Mohammed, who went above the beyond for us. We had someone in our group who injured their ankle and he helped us greatly support her and ensure she could also enjoy all the activities.
This is my second nile cruise and I can safely say this is a great deal!!

Trip of a lifetime in comfortable and convenient transport, with all the essential sites on the list

This really is the way to see Egypt. Yes there were a few (optional) early mornings for Luxor balloons and Abu Simbel. But at the end of the day you are in Egypt to see the wonders of the world - so get out of bed!
Do everything on offer. You can haggle a bit for the price on balloons and Abu Simbel, so do! But the plethora of breathtaking temples, the scope of the history, the green banks of the Nile drifting by, drinks on the deck. This is like no other trip. Egypt is a country of unrivalled beauty and antiquity - and this is the only way to see it.
Be aware that WiFi on the boat is very expensive, and drinks aren’t cheap either. Also there was great food and great vegan options for myself for all of the days bar the last one - I think the boat was getting low in supplies, and so the couple of last meals were a bit disappointing.
I will also say that being part of a tour group made us a bit rushed for time. I have a unique interest in Ancient Egypt, having studied it for my masters, so I am perhaps more thrilled and engaged than the regular punter. However, going to Luxor Temple, apparently the biggest open air religious compound in the world, and having only one hour - it just simply was not enough time. We were with other couples with young kids who probably wanted to get back to the boat quicker than me…but I just wanted more time at each site!
Also there are some fun facts tour guides could stand to include - for example the last ever inscription made in hieroglyphs is on Philae temple, but nobody pointed it out! Would have given me a thrill. Also, pay extra to go to the tomb of Ramesses V and VI in the valley of the kings - you will not regret it for a moment.

Seriously the best experience ever with the best tour guide , my forever friend , Sayed. Organized perfectly. Sayed has a high trained degree level of Egyptian history knowledge. He was personal and caring And simply put, the best !

Cruising the Nile, Living a Dream
We booked with the private tour option and the boat, our guide Naggar Boghdadhy, the sights and people were simply amazing. The cruise and tour include all the places you need to see (Fellucca boat sailing, Philae, Karnak, Valley of Kings, etc), plus offers options such as Sound and Light shows, a hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings and a day trip to Abu Simbel that made this a true trip of a lifetime. This cruise is a MUST for anyone coming to Egypt!!! Book the best cruise you can afford (all very reasonable prices) as our boat was definitely nicer than the budget options that shared ports of call. Food onboard was really good, service was five-star all the way, and everything was convenient and well organized. As a global traveler, this trip is highly recommended!
