First time, but not the last!
This was our first trip to Egypt and we didn't know what to expect. We absolutely loved our experience and can't wait to come back to see more. The boat was nice - good size room, lounge, deck and shops for those that would prefer the chaos of haggling with the street vendors. The boat staff was friendly - very attentive, helpful, and kind. The food - breakfast, lunch, and dinner was fantastic! Lots of options and different ones each day. On top of all that having a private tour guide (Adham Mohammed aka Adam) and a driver made all the excursions convenient and informative. We took many nice pictures and learned all about the 3 different temples, the Pharaohs, and many gods.
Everything exceeded our expectations!
Notes for first time travelers, arrange your pick up from the airport with the tour company or private taxi to hotel prior to arrival. You will be waking up very early to beat the heat. The boat is more like a floating hotel, it is not a daily sail. Bring smaller EGP bills for tips or to use public bathrooms. September is the beginning of peak season, so if you can handle hot temperatures there will be less crowds of you come in summer. Your phone will also get very hot. If you have a separate camera, bring it to use for photos and to prevent your phone from overheating. There may be painted lines on the road but they don't mean anything, lol. There are lots of military and police check points, I don't know how we would have figured out what to do on our own and was extremely happy with all the drivers and our tour guide. Finally, have fun.

Ask for the Tia or the Gemma on your Nile Cruise
I have done this trip 3 times before but wanted to take friends, so searched for a tailored trip that offered what I wanted. Egypt Holiday Makers was able to accommodate me.
We boarded the Tia in Aswan. The season hadn't quite started, so the cruise was not packed, which we enjoyed. The cabins were larger than expected and absolutely beautiful. The deck, equipped with a dipping pool, offered enough space for easy relaxation during sailing times.
The food was out of this world! A superb variety of exceptionally high standard cuisine! One of my friends had a seafood allergy, but they went above and beyond to make sure there was more than enough variety for her to choose from.
The staff were so kind and friendly, in true Egyptian style!
Haitham, our tour guide, adapted the tours to cater for the fact that flights were cancelled and we arrived late. We were still able to see as much as possible and fit in with the original plan. He was extremely knowledgeable and willing to adapt to our needs.

Amazing guide, extraordinary cruise and nice food
Amazing experience. Our tour guide Adham made even more perfect with his flexibility, openness and professionalism, always leaving us some space and time. The food on the cruise was extraordinary as well. Hats off to the chefs!!

Life changing
This has been truly and amazing experience. I wasn't sure on how it would be coming here to Egypt but it is extremely safe! I have done a lot of traveling being from the United States and now living in Germany so I would say I have been around the block when it comes to seeing value. I went on the Nile cruise from Aswan to luxor with our tour guide Sayed . He was extremely knowledgeable and was quick to answer any question I would have without any hesitation. This vacation truly changed my life and I'm extremely grateful.

Sayed was an incredible guide. He was very knowledgeable on the history and how to best navigate the sights we went to. He was very amenable to all of our request to make adjustments to our trip. He really knows how to make his clients happy. 10 out of 10. We had a blast!

Amazing experience - with a fantastic tour guide Amr
We had a great 4 day, 3 night cruise aboard the Alhambra - and would massively recommend it to anyone interested in seeing lots of the sights and temples of ancient Egypt in a structured and easy to navigate way.
The cabin was very spacious and the staff on board very friendly and helpful - they were very attentive and made the whole experience very easy and enjoyable.
Our tour guide was Amr Al Shgairy and he was what made the experience so memorable. Amr was a fantastic tour guide with amazing knowledge of Ancient Egyptian history, sharing the perfect level of detail at all the sites we visited, all with great English. He was passionate about the things he was sharing and incredibly knowledgable. He brought the places we visited to life with humour, interesting stories, and passion. He was incredibly caring and always made sure we were safe and comfortable, and went to great lengths to help us navigate local nuances and dealing with (sometimes very pushy!) local sellers. On the cruise he was very familiar with the ship and staff, and helped to make our stay very comfortable and very well organised (sending out the following day’s itinerary with detail on timings and where to be).
We thoroughly enjoyed spending the 4 day cruise with Amr and would highly recommend him!

Agence Egypt Unlimited très recommandée.
Tout s'est très bien passé. L'agence est très réactive par WhatsApp. Tous les guides ont été très ponctuels et il n'y a eu aucun couac dans l'organisation.
Attention, comme toutes les croisières sur le Nil (sauf celles de luxe probablement), vous ne savez pas sur quel bateau vous serez, donc ne vous fiez surtout pas aux photos. Il y a des catégories, mais presque aucune agence ne dit à quelle catégorie de bateau on aura droit, et ils sont tous 5 étoiles, ce qui ne veut donc rien dire.
Malheureusement, vous ne connaîtrez votre bateau que la veille du départ. Nous étions sur le MS Alhambra, vraiment très bien. Belles chambres spacieuses avec un petit salon et une grande salle de bain (baignoire et douche). Propreté relative : ménage bien fait, mais cela mériterait un entretien approfondi. Les rideaux de la cabine, le tapis dans le salon et les divans dans le bar n'ont jamais été shampouinés depuis la mise à l'eau du bateau, je pense ; ils sont donc très sales. Mais à l'inverse, le ménage quotidien est bien fait, draps de lit nickels, etc.

N'oubliez pas le pourboire à la fin. Sur notre bateau, pas de harcèlement comme j'ai pu le lire dans d'autres avis : il y avait une urne à la réception et des enveloppes à disposition. Mais apparemment, ils vérifient tout de même que tout le monde paie, car l'agence nous a dit que nous avions oublié de le faire, et nous avons dû leur expliquer qu'on avait déposé une enveloppe. Pensez à mettre votre numéro de chambre et le montant dessus !
Pour le reste de la croisière, ce sont les étapes que font tous les bateaux, donc aucune surprise de ce côté-là. La qualité de la croisière dépendra principalement de votre guide. Nous en avons eu plusieurs parce que nous nous y sommes pris un peu tard, mais en général votre guide vous accompagnera du premier au dernier jour. D'ailleurs, nous avions des contacts avec plusieurs agences et c'est la seule qui nous a trouvé un guide francophone à chaque étape.
Au final, c'est plus l'agence que je note dans cet avis, car comme je le disais, le bateau est assez aléatoire. De ce côté-là, c'était parfait : ils peuvent vous arranger un peu tout ce que vous voulez pour personnaliser votre expérience. Nous cherchions par exemple un transfert du bateau à Louxor vers notre hôtel à Hurghada, et nous n'avons pensé que tard à le demander à l'agence, mais ils nous l'ont proposé pour un prix similaire aux autres, avec l'avantage que c'était notre van privé, qui nous faisait les dernières visites du samedi matin, qui nous a emmenés et qui avait déjà chargé nos bagages. Nous avons donc pu partir directement pour Hurghada après notre dernière visite et gagner beaucoup de temps.
Je recommande vivement cette agence.

Best tour and guide in Egypt
We could not have asked for a better guide. Mohamed went above and beyond to tailor everything to our needs. He offered tips and tricks for our stay, he has super interesting stories and is just an overall great guy. The cruise was perfectly organised from start till end. Could not recommed enough we are just delighted! <3

Exceptional tour guide.
We had the pleasure of joining a tour on the M/S Medea cruise, and it was a truly memorable experience. The boat itself, the quality of service, and the entire team involved were outstanding, attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout.
The absolute highlight of the trip was our incredible tour guide, Mohamed Salman. As an experienced Egyptologist, his depth of knowledge about ancient Egypt, its temples, and tombs was nothing short of impressive. His passion and storytelling brought history to life in the most engaging way.
While Egypt is breathtaking on its own, having someone like Mohamed guide us through the fascinating details made the journey truly exceptional.
