Volgens de gevraagde tijd wordt u opgehaald bij uw hotel in Aswan en rijdt u naar het zuiden van Aswan, wat ongeveer 3 uur rijden is om te genieten van de Abu Simbel-dagtour vanuit Aswan met een voertuig met airconditioning. De twee tempels van Abu Simbel worden met hun unieke stijl beschouwd als de meesterwerken van het oude Egypte. Ze weerspiegelen de glorie en grootsheid van het nieuwe koninkrijk. De Egyptische regering en UNESCO besloten samen te werken om deze tempels te redden van de overstroming. De Tempel van Ramses II was gewijd aan de vier universele goden Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re en aan Ramses II zelf. De grote tempel van Abu Simbel wordt ook wel de Zonnetempel van Ramses II genoemd. De tempel van koningin Nefertari wordt ook wel de Tempel van Hathor genoemd, die de vrouw was van de Zonnegod, dus op symbolische wijze zijn de twee tempels, die van Ramses II en die van Nefertari, breng Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor en de Zonnegod samen als één. Breng daar ongeveer 3 uur door en neem dan de terugweg naar Aswan.

A MUST for any trip to Egypt
What an awesome site! Our guide Sameer was so knowledgeable and friendly. Since guides are not allowed into the monument he gave us all a map of the site so we could better understand what we were looking at; very clever. This is a MUST SEE in Egypt

Simplemente perfecta
We arranged the trip to Abu Simbel in private car including a Spanish guide and entrance to the temple for my daughter, my wife and me. Simply perfect: i) Tayso the sales man was continously in contact to organize the trip since we arranged the trip at the very beginning until the end by whatssap. He was very patient, very quick in replying my queries and always trying to help. ii) The van for the three of us was before the agreed time (4.30am) already waiting for us. The van was very clean and new and was only for the 3 of us, as agreed. iii) Drivers (2) were very kind and diligent: on the way to the temple one driver was sleeping while the other was driving and they changed the roles on the way back (safer). iv) Omnia, the Spanish guide: She made the difference. She speaks Spanish very well and knows everything about the temple. She was giving los of details before, during and after the visit to the temple. We had also time to talk about the normal life in Egypt and share life experiences from different points of view. Thanks Omnia!!! Definetely we recommend Emo tours

Great day with Samir!
Really great tour with Samir and the driver that day. Samir was extremely nice, and he gave us umbrellas so we didn't have to burn in the heat. He got us a sugarcane drink as well, which was very refreshing! Really appreciate the fact that he made the day extra special.

Will never forget!!!
My tour guide was Ahmed Eid and he was a pleasure to go on this tour with. I am a solo traveler and was completely jet lagged but seeing Abu Simbel for the first time made me forget all that! And Ahmed’s enthusiasm made it only that much better. I’ll never forget this experience and will definitely recommend Ahmed and Emo tours to others traveling to Egypt/Abu Simbel. I’m from Arizona so the desert heat didn’t get to me as much as others and the drive to Abu Simbel reminded me of where I grew up in Navajo country in northern AZ. But all in all, wonderful experience and such a great guide! Thank you!! Thank you!

Amazing day full of memories
One of the highlights of our trip was meeting Samir and having such a memorable day together.. After doing so many tours in Egypt we were fatigued with some of the antics that go on… It was so refreshing to have someone that we clicked with so well.. Samir was extremely knowledgeable in the subject area but didn’t make the contents dry… Samir went out of his way to help, we were after a specific cologne and Samir literally found it and gave it to us as a gift and wouldn’t accept payment for it.. this blew us away.. He also helped with locating someone we knew in Egypt, again above and beyond.. By the end of the day we were sad to say goodbye but happy to have made a friend and such fantastic memories. AMAZING TRIP FROM BEGINNING TO END!!!
My tour guide (Walid) and driver (Islam) arrived to pick me up from my hotel and from then on out, it was easy sailing! We stopped once to use the bathroom and then we were back on the Aswan-Abu Simbel Rd! It was one of the most tranquil things I’ve ever experienced…just miles and miles of passing desert! Walid is informative and kind. On the way back, I fell asleep and woke up to a mirage in the desert at 106°! I was allowed to take pictures and we promptly got back in the car! I will say that I was solo traveling so, it was just me and I move fairly quickly. We had time after leaving the temples so I asked to make a stop which we did since we had time before lunch. Walid and Islam were VERY accommodating. Nothing went wrong, everything was smooth. FYI- you will have to give your hotel info and passport pic the day before so that you’re allowed in. All in all, AMAZING TIME! I HIGHLY recommend! 5 stars!!
