Volgens de gevraagde tijd wordt u opgehaald bij uw hotel in Aswan en rijdt u naar het zuiden van Aswan, wat ongeveer 3 uur rijden is om te genieten van de Abu Simbel-dagtour vanuit Aswan met een voertuig met airconditioning. De twee tempels van Abu Simbel worden met hun unieke stijl beschouwd als de meesterwerken van het oude Egypte. Ze weerspiegelen de glorie en grootsheid van het nieuwe koninkrijk. De Egyptische regering en UNESCO besloten samen te werken om deze tempels te redden van de overstroming. De Tempel van Ramses II was gewijd aan de vier universele goden Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re en aan Ramses II zelf. De grote tempel van Abu Simbel wordt ook wel de Zonnetempel van Ramses II genoemd. De tempel van koningin Nefertari wordt ook wel de Tempel van Hathor genoemd, die de vrouw was van de Zonnegod, dus op symbolische wijze zijn de twee tempels, die van Ramses II en die van Nefertari, breng Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor en de Zonnegod samen als één. Breng daar ongeveer 3 uur door en neem dan de terugweg naar Aswan.

A guide most likely not necessary.
Even I am a timid and weal-willed traveler, after this experience, I think Just book a car and buy ticket online is enough. NO NEED to have a guide.

Total Systwm F^*k Up and no help provided. Never Again!
I had originally booked an excursion to Abu Simbel (driver, private guide, admission, and lunch), from Aswan for 2/13/26 based on our cruise ship itinerary given prior to leaving the USA for Egypt. The itinerary for our time in Aswan changed and we were notified the Tuesday before our booking. I went online to manage the booking and changed only the date to the 12th. Pick up was scheduled for 4:30 AM. Driver was an hour late and had to then get gas for his car. When we arrived at the Twmple site. I reached out multiple times to Viator to find out where our guide was. At this point I was told our booking had been amended to just a driver. I had done no such thing. I asked them how we could fix this - we were at the temple. No solution provided other than a $10.00 reimbursement for the supposed trip amendment. 90 minutes later, my party and I just bought tickets to go into see the temples and I told my expectations of Viator to reimburse is for the cost of the admission, linxh and the lack of a guide - more that $10.00. But as we had plans at 3 PM on our boat, I could no longer waste time with them while they provided no solution. Very angry and disappointed..

Long trip passed quickly and well worth the visit.
Although a long drive, the combination of guide presentation and occasional dose made the 3hrs pass quickly. The guide was informative and spoke English well. Despite other crazy drivers, we felt safe with ours. The historic site was certainly worth the visit.

Awesome experience
After a mess up on united airlines part I had to fly to Luxor and drive to Aswan in stead of flying to Aswan, this ended up making me miss my scheduled trip to Abu simbel. First Omar the agent for emotours helped me out big time by helping me push my transfer to Abu simbel to the next day, and not only that he helped me combine my transfer from Aswan to Luxor together right after the Abu simbel transfer. For this two drivers arrived, Carlos and regretfully I missed the second drivers name. They were punctual didn’t waste time and got me to where I needed to be in a spectacular fashion, they also had great recommendations on food. If you need to book tours or transfers I couldn’t recommend Emotours enough, they went above and beyond. Thanks guys!

We booked an Abu Simbel tour with a guide. The pickup was on time, the driver drove safely, and the guide was knowledgeable and professional. We enjoyed the tour and had a good time.

Acquistato trasporto A/R in giornata per 9 persone da Aswan ad Abu Simbel per visitare i templi. Prezzo onesto, rispetto ad altre offerte molto più alte, nonostante questo il servizio è stato perfetto, con un van adeguato e 2 autisti che si sono alternati e hanno guidato in sicurezza.

Overall good experience....
Overall good experience. Driver picked us up in time. Had about 1 1/2 hour in Abu Simbel, which is just enough to see the site (with some time for in-dept explorations). The driver had Italian-like driving skills with Autobahn speeds on the desert road, making the trip less than 3 hours (which arguably is impressive). Fun fact: our cruise offered the same trip, everyone left at 4AM. We left at 7AM and arrived back in Aswan around the same time.

Perfect day out to Abu Simbel!
Magdy from Emo Tours was my guide for the day trip to Abu Simbel. I can honestly say that Magdy went the extra mile for me. He was very informative, honest, and kind-hearted, and he made sure I had a wonderful time. I finished my trip having learned a great deal about the site, the life and achievements of Ramses II, as well as gaining solid general knowledge about the Ancient Egyptian gods. In addition to the excellent service, we had a very comfortable car, and Mohamed was an extremely experienced and professional driver. Today I felt content, more educated, and truly pampered by Magdy. I sincerely thank both of them for delivering such a special experience. Communication with the tour company was also excellent. Thank you, guys, for the amazing experience!

Long Day - Worth Every Minute.
Long drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel, but well worth it. The temples are amazing!
