Volgens de gevraagde tijd wordt u opgehaald bij uw hotel in Aswan en rijdt u naar het zuiden van Aswan, wat ongeveer 3 uur rijden is om te genieten van de Abu Simbel-dagtour vanuit Aswan met een voertuig met airconditioning. De twee tempels van Abu Simbel worden met hun unieke stijl beschouwd als de meesterwerken van het oude Egypte. Ze weerspiegelen de glorie en grootsheid van het nieuwe koninkrijk. De Egyptische regering en UNESCO besloten samen te werken om deze tempels te redden van de overstroming. De Tempel van Ramses II was gewijd aan de vier universele goden Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re en aan Ramses II zelf. De grote tempel van Abu Simbel wordt ook wel de Zonnetempel van Ramses II genoemd. De tempel van koningin Nefertari wordt ook wel de Tempel van Hathor genoemd, die de vrouw was van de Zonnegod, dus op symbolische wijze zijn de twee tempels, die van Ramses II en die van Nefertari, breng Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor en de Zonnegod samen als één. Breng daar ongeveer 3 uur door en neem dan de terugweg naar Aswan.

Unfortunately this tour was extremely disappointing and not worth the money. I feel this is an excessive price for what we received. 1st throughout the whole tour we do not receive any water or once even asked if we wanted water. First time experiencing this in any tour we have ever taken. We understood the long drive to Abu Simbel from Aswan but our tour guide just slept the whole way to the temple. Then upon arrival we were asked to buy our tickets even though they were included in the price. Once we shown proof of this our tour guide all of a sudden said ‘oh yes it is included’ Then when we got to the temple we were given a short explanation of the temple which to be honest I think Wikipedia had more information than what we received. Then our tour guide left us to take some photos. Upon meeting back with our tour guide we had lunch included so they arranged lunch at the cafe at the temple. With our dietary requirements we had very little choice and the food was not good for what we would have expected from other places in Egypt. Then we drove back to Aswan where again our tour guide slept all the way until we got to Aswan. I would not recommend to book this trip at all. If you want to go to Abu Simbel just book a driver and nothing else as this is pretty much what we got from this tour. Also would recommend to buy the little book from the temple as it shows some pretty cool photos of how they moved the temple.

Muy bonitos los templos, el traslado de Asuan para abu simbel muy bien, buena camioneta, se poncho una llanta pero todo bien, lo único que no nos gustó es que el guía, un señor que no recuerdo su nombre, nos traía corriendo porque al parecer le afecta mucho el sol y el calor, nos explicó y nos vendió unas réplicas de fotos, todo en no más de 15 minutos, y ya nos dejó en los templos y se fue, nos llevó el conductor a comer a un restaurante pequeño cerca del templo, pero el guía ya no estaba, batallamos algo para la comida, pero nos gustó la comida muy sencilla pero tradicional y de buen sabor, el chofer Ahmad siempre muy atento y amable, un buen muchacho.

Amazing road trip with Mostafa who was very considerate and a joy to be on a journey to Abu Simbel with. My family and I had a fantastic time. Would definitely recommend booking this trip from Aswan to Abu Simbel.

El Lugar es único y espectacular. Lamentablemente en el viaje de Vuelta El conductor iba a alta velocidad, mirando su celular y para colmo comenzó a quedarse dormido. Ya cuando se pone en riesgo la familia nada puede ser calificado como bueno.

The experience was not what we expected. When we arrived to Abu Simbel the driver offered to take us have lunch to a restaurant but we told them that since were leaving the next day, we wanted to have lunch at a place where they accepted credit card, he was very insistent on taking us to an ATM. The tour guide told us not to worry and that the driver would take us in Aswan to a place to have lunch before dropping us off at the airport, when we arrived we told the driver that and he told us that there were no restaurants and just dropping us off in the airport, the driver did not speak English at all, and what the guide told us was not true leaving us 2 hours before the “10 hour” mark. There was nothing to eat in the airport. Also, the tour guide in Abu Simbel gave us a really short explanation and just let us wonder around by ourselves, it would have been the same if we didn’t have the guide. We were just following him and he was silent from when we arrived and when we left, we just had a 10 min explanation in a shade and told us that he would stay there while we walked arround and had to ask other tourists for photos. Very bad experience. This was the most expensive tour we had in Egypt and we had the worst experience. Don’t recommend booking with this company, we explained this to them and just answered with a sorry message.
