It is my best choice. 日本語ガイドは高価だし、英語ガイドは聞き取れないし、自分で古代エジプト史を予習して、ドライバーのみのツアーを選びました。きれいな乗用車に親切で信頼できるドライバーさんを独占して、コストパフォーマンス最高！ネフェルタリの墓が閉まっているのでほとんどのツアーが行かない王妃の谷にも行ってもらえました。

Deze fantastische daguitstap had ik alleen nooit zo relax kunnen organiseren. De aangenaam vriendelijke en deskundige gids Mohamed Sayed had alles perfect uitgestippeld, had alle tickets bij zich, gaf overal heel interessante uitleg en bij extra vragen kwam ik nog meer interessante zaken te weten en stelde hij zich in op mijn interesses. Hij kent de geschiedenis maar evengoed de betekenis van verschillende symbolen wat ik heel interessant vond en meer begrip geeft over de afbeeldingen. Bovendien is hij nog een goede fotograaf en heb ik zo toch een paar foto’s van mezelf. Bovendien kon ik alles op eigen tempo bezoeken en de tijd nemen die ik wou voor alle bezoeken wat voor mij één van de meerwaardes was om deze tour privé te boeken. Ook dat je van de ene site naar de andere site gebracht wordt, is geen overbodige luxe want alleen had ik dit niet kunnen afleggen. De vriendelijke chauffeur Tamer stond ons telkens op te wachten zonder wachttijd, alsof hij telkens op uitkijk stond, ik verbaasde mij er soms over maar zo is deze daguitstap wel heel vlot en aangenaam verlopen. Het programma van deze tour geeft ook een breder beeld van hoe het leven er toen moet uitgezien hebben door het bezoek aan verschillende sites, niet enkel van de koningen en koninginnen maar bv. ook van de arbeiders, de ambachtsmensen en hun families. Dus voor mij zeker een grote aanrader om te boeken! Ik heb er ten volle van genoten. Bedankt Mohamed en Tamer!

Thanks to Sayed, the tour was easy to understand and fun. Each time, they give us a clear explanation of the spot, so we also learn more about its history. The lunch was also very delicious. The Valley of the Kings was the most impressive.

Our guide, Sayed, gave us detailed explanations about the ruins. In the Valley of the Kings, you can enter Tutankhamun’s tomb if you pay extra. The restaurant where we had lunch was clean and the food was very delicious. We also visited a stone workshop, but it’s totally fine if you don’t buy anything. It was great to efficiently visit the famous sightseeing spots on the West Bank by car! 😊

Car and driver were good but the guide looked inexperienced and uninterested. He was tired midway and told us to visit the temples and he would would outside. Very poor English and didn’t have much knowledge about Egyptian history. All he cared about was a 5 star review and gratuity.
