The tour operator, Ramasside Tours, contacting me the evening before the trip requesting an extra payment of $40 or they would cancel the trip. I suggested that inflating the price on the eve of the trip under threat of cancellation was unacceptable. The trip was cancelled and we lost the opportunity. I have contacted TripAdvisor about this unfortunate situation.

I must say visiting Alexandria must be on the bucket list when you travel Egypt. Especially if you are lucky like me to have Amr Moses to be your tour guide. He is friendly and sincere, especially very knowledgeable about Alexandria, not to mention his passion for explaining the culture and history of the tourist spot. He is more like the Mr Know all

I went to Alexandria with my family. We walked along the Corniche, saw the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, and visited Bibliotheca Alexandrina.. huge, modern, and full of history. A lovely, refreshing day!

I had a great time exploring Alexandria. I especially liked exploring the Catacombs of Kom El-Shokafa and the citadel of Qaitbay. A big thanks to Egypt Tours Portal for organizing the tour and to my guide Rewan Atef for making the experience so enjoyable.

The tour was more than what we expected. We learned about the cultural and historical richness of Alexandria, across centuries, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch near the sea. The tour was very well organised and balanced (ancient vs. modern sights) and our guide, Mahmoud, was one of the best out there. Passionate and very knowledgeable about the history and the places we visited, attentive to everyone's needs in the group, kind and with great humor. It was truly a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt.

The trip was perfectly organised. Kareem was a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the trip fun and took all the right pictures! Somehow he managed to engage even the little kids who typically would not be over the moon in the trip.
