We just returned from a wonderful day spent with Mohamed Galal. He is a very well educated and knowledgeable tour guide who studied Egyptian studies and Archeology at the University. We saw the highlights of the Grand Egyptian museum, the pyramids both inside and out, a bazaar, a Papyrus paper demonstration, lunch and lots of fun chat. He even did a video for my travel channel on how the pyramids were built. (It wasn't by aliens!) We arrived at the pyramids just when an unusual sand storm hit. Mohamed still managed to get everything completed with great pictures, somehow. There was no pressure to do anything like some tour reviews with other companies have said. Although, I loved the bazaar shop so much I purchased 2 hieroglyphic necklaces with my name and my daughter's names on them. I HIGHLY recommend this company. Request Mohamed Galal.

Do not book-Fraud alert! I purchased the $170 all-inclusive option for my tour. When it came time for the tour, a bait and switch occurred and items clearly marked in my itinerary as paid for were not honored. Additionally, the guide left before the tour was over, the boat ride was on my own. Boat experience on the Nile? I was in a sort of tug boat alone pulling other boat with tourists and their guide out beyond the shore. The boat with the tourists and guides set off on their tour. My tug boat? It simply returned to the shore. Viator was not helpful- though I’ve used them literally over 100 times, if you have an issue, they will not have your back- the tour operators only decide on a refund. So, in the case of fraud you have no recourse. GetYourGuide will be my new go-to.

An excellent full-day tour covering the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), and more. The experience was very well organised from start to finish. The guide Mohamed Galal was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, professional, and patient. Everything was explained clearly, with plenty of historical context, and all questions were answered thoughtfully. The pace of the day was perfect, allowing enough time for photos and exploration without ever feeling rushed. The driver Islam was equally excellent. He was punctual, calm, and drove very safely through Cairo’s busy traffic, making the entire day feel relaxed and stress-free. The vehicle was comfortable and clean, and all transfers were smooth and efficient. Overall, the organisation, communication, and care throughout the tour were exceptional. This experience exceeded expectations and is highly recommended for anyone visiting Cairo who wants to see the city’s most iconic sights in a comfortable and professional way.
