Had a great tour with Magda (tour guide) and Achmed (driver). Magda knew so much about the whites, knew the best places to capture pictures and answered all of my (many) questions. She is so talented and is a great Egyptologist! Achmed was a fantastic driver. So considerate, provided snacks, stopped for coffee, bathroom breakers, and was very considerate about my personal enjoyment. Great trip and would book with Emo again!

My wife and I booked this tour directly through the Emo tours website. At the time of booking we made it clear that we only wanted to visit the three sites and did not want to be taken to any shops on the way. We also chose not to go with a guide. I am happy to say that our request was kept to and we enjoyed the day visiting the sites of Memphis, Sakkara and Dashur. Our driver Hamed was excellent and knew how to take us to the important places in each site. However in my opinion 4 hours is not enough time to visit the three sites properly. We left our hotel in Dokki Cairo at 9 am and got back at 2.30 pm which was around 5.5 hours. I recommend making it a full day trip because Sakkara site alone is worth spending half a day. The only hiccup of the trip was the company could not be contacted when we got back to Cairo and needed to find out how to pay for the 2 extra hours car hire. I had the phone numbers of two customer service agents who had been liaising with me before the trip but they both were not contactable. This was strange because it was 2.30 pm on a working day. In the end we managed to find a phone number on the company website which fortunately was answered by a manager and he was able to help us.

Good tour. Dedicated tour guide. Smooth and comfortable ride. Just wish the tour can last longer because there are so many wonderful things to see. It would be great if the tour operators can offer a full day tour.

Notre guide Mido est très intéressant et sympathique. Les visites dans les différents endroits furent magiques. Toutefois le chauffeur est arrivé très en retard (1h40) même si notre guide a tout fait pour s'accommoder de la situation. Je recommande !

Zainab and Ahmad were great! We had an amazing day with them. Zainab gave us a lot of historical context and answered all our questions. Ahmad was super careful and thoughtful throughout the whole drive. Super recommend both of them.

Der Guide sprach sehr gut deutsch. Die Führung war kompetent . Und Abholung vom Hotel und Abliefung am Hotel verliefen zuverlässig und pünktlich!! Einziges Manko, eine Ablehnung für potentielle Sales- Angebote sollte reichen. Es strengt an, immer erneute Angebote bzgl Teppich, Parfüm, … ablehnen zu müssen.

Our guide (Mohammed Moussy) was fantastic. He made us feel welcome as guests, sought to do what we wanted to do at the sites and was extremely informative and knowledgeable. The pyramids at Saqqara and Dashur were quite impressive and we went inside two of them. Memphis was a brief stop, but interesting We had a late lunch because we stayed so long at the sites and it was delicious and filling. Our driver was careful by Egyptian standards and did not drive like a madman. Even though we visited during peak tourist season, there were no crowds and no waiting in lines. We could even photograph some of the pyramids with no other tourists in the photos.

This was an essential part of our tour before visiting the Giza Pyramids and it did not disappoint. Our guide was knowledgeable the vehicle clean and the driver able. Saqqara is one of the richest archaeological sites in the country - its monuments span 3ooo years. We were able to enter the Red Pyramid via a passage on its north face down a long shaft of about 150 steps. An amazing thing to do. We enjoyed Dahshur and the Mortuary Temple complex relatively free of the vast crowds experienced elsewhere . Memphis was excellent and so was the lunch! All in all we had a great introduction to Ancient Egypt.

A chance to see the unique step pyramid of Djoser, the pyramids of Unas and Teti at Saqquara. Then on to Dahshur which is off the main tourist trail; we were almost alone inside the Red Pyramid. It was disappointing not to get to the Bent Pyramid as implied by the trip notes and they should be more explicit. This trip could easily be expanded slightly to a full day taking in the other Pyramids at Dahshur and ie the Serapeum at Saqqara
