Good Tour of the 3 Oldest Pyramids & Saqqara Tombs & Serapeum
Overall, a good tour of the 3 oldest pyramids, the tombs at Saqqara, and the statues at Memphis. The tour started a little awkwardly, because my solo trip was combined with another English speaking family of 3 who had the same itinerary. The 4 of us shared the driver in a mini van and the tour guide Ahmed. I didn’t mind my tour being combined with other Americans, but it was not communicated before pickup at my hotel and I was not given any discount after paying full price for a “Private” tour. That being said, Ahmed was a good guide and very passionate and knowledgeable. I struggled at times to understand Ahmed’s English and follow his complicated explanations for the sites. My focus would drift away when I couldn’t follow what he was talking about. We started at Dahshur, where I felt a bit rushed at the Red & Bent pyramids. But the family I was with wanted to see more tombs at Saqqara, and that was really interesting too. We also saw the Serapeum at Saqqara, which was fascinating and mind blowing to understand. We had a late lunch after Saqqara closed at about 4:00. The food was pretty good and the cost included in my tour package. In summary, I think this is a good tour that just needs a bit of fine tuning to be a great tour. But I definitely recommend it. Honestly, Saqqara on its own is a day trip. And the Dahshur pyramids with Memphis is probably a day trip too. If I go again, I would break this one day up into two days.

Best tour guide ever!
Let me start with another company gave us a terrible experience with tours at Giza earlier on this trip when the so called “tour guides” wanted to make TikTok’s and take stupid photos rather than explain things… so we had some concern regarding this one. HOWEVER WAEL ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT! We had such a blast, we got to learn so much and actually focus on the history and culture of these sites at Saqqara, Bend Pyramid, and Memphis. He is extremely knowledgeable and we had tons of questions! This experience was nothing short of amazing and I cannot stress enough how grateful we are for this. Wael is passionate about this history clearly wanted to teach us about it. 10/10 great time, educational, and fun!

ギザ郊外の様々なピラミッドを見たい方には、このツアーを強くお勧めします。ガイドのMs. Saharは前日から連絡をしてくれて、朝のピックアップはスムーズでした。階段ピラミッド、赤ピラミッド、屈折ピラミッドを見に行きましたが、説明がとても分かりやすかったです。ピラミッドの中に入る方は、動きやすい服と靴で行くことを強くお勧めします。

We had a good experience with Ibrahim Allam as our tour guide. His excellent command of English made it easy to follow along and understand all the information he shared. He was knowledgeable and explained everything in a clear and engaging manner. We recommend him.
Also the driver was cordial and safe.

Ahmed, our guide for our private tour, was superb. He was extremely knowledgeable and easy to understand with his excellent English. He did not rush us, answered all our questions, & took us to a lovely family-owned restaurant. It was a full 7+ hour day with him.

My solo tour
Overall, it was a good and well-organized tour.
The itinerary was smooth, and there was flexibility, which allowed some time to explore independently as well.
The driver was very kind, patient, and helpful, which made the day comfortable and stress-free. I truly appreciated his attitude and professionalism.
The guide was good and professional, sharing the main information clearly and making sure everything went smoothly throughout the day. While the style was more relaxed, it was still a pleasant and solid guiding experience.

El tour muy interesante pero la guía muy poco amable, no nos daba explicaciones de nada, se iba ràpidamente al Coche, solo estaba pendientes de su Móvil, sus conocimientos eran muy escasos y su interès mínimo. El chofer correcto
