Amazing Tour
A wonderful tour, our guide Said was lovely & so knowledgeable, we learned so much & had an amazing day seeing the sights. We were able to take in the sights at our own leisure & pace and we’re not rushed at any time to move on to the next spot.
We have always been fascinated by Ancient Egypt so it was a dream come true to visit the Valley of the Kings
We had a delicious lunch overlooking the Nile & Said arranged an amazing vegetarian option for us.
Our driver was also great & the car was a very comfortable ride on somewhat bumpy roads
All COVID safety regulations were followed, giving some peace of mind when travelling during this time
I would 100% recommend this tour

The highlight of our holiday, a MUST DO tour
We stayed in Hurghada and wanted to day trip to Luxor to see the famous sites. With so much uncertainty, COVID rules and regulations (and a fews days earlier having a different trip with a different company cancelled last minute) we weren't sure what to expect.
However, I'm happy to say that Ahmed and his team run this tour like a well oiled machine. We did the private trip, in a modern air conditioned car which picked us directly from the hotel at 5am, taking us to Luxor and returning us at 9pm. A long day but totally worth it. We were kept informed and updated at all times by Ahmed over WhatsApp who responded quickly and clearly. He even met us at a stop point around 6:30am with drinks and snacks for the trip and was very safety conscious regarding masks, etc.
We met our guide, Said in Luxor and I cannot rate him highly enough. He is knowledgable, patient and a great camera man too! The tours around the temples were incredible as was the trip up the nile (we paid a little extra for 40mins to go up the Nile). My wife is vegetarian and they even catered for her separately at the restaurant on the banks of the Nile.
This tour takes you on all of the 'big hitters' Luxor has to offer in a day and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ramashka Tours again.
Thanks again Ahmed, Said and Team

TOTAL LUXOR
Ramashka Tours arranged a private daytrip for me, from Hurghada to Luxor. I had an air-conditioned minibus to myself, and two drivers, so that one didn't get tired, Plus a TV with a video of Luxor highlights to prepare me on he way, and snacks and bottled water. The drive to the first stop, the Temples of Karnak was four hours, including a rest-stop. As soon as we arrived I was greeted by my guide, Mr Said. Mr Said has a Masters in Egyptology from the University of Cairo. As a student there, it was his dream job to be a guide, and he's been living his dream for twenty years now. This man knows everything there is to know about Egyptian history and culture, everything. He can translate the original hieroglyphics for you, and help you to learn and pronounce them too, guiding you through the names, places and history carved into the walls thousands of years ago. Be prepared, he will even quiz you on reading, pronunciation and history (if you want).. he's also a great photographer. Next was an optional cruise on he Nile, do take it, its a very pleasant way to pass an hour, with tea provided, get a feel for the city and some of its other historical sites. he boat then dropped us at a garden and restaurant where an inclusive buffet lunch was provided, drinks were extra but only $1USD each. Next was the Valley of the Kings (all entrance tickets to sites visited are provided by the way). My ticket was good for three different tombs. Mr Said picked the best ones for me, guides aren't allowed inside, so he gave me a complete rundown before going in, of what to look-out for and what things meant. I thought that was it for the day, but there was more: The Al-Deir Al-Bahari Temple, which reminded me of Abu Simbel . There was a final stop at a ruined temple, with three impressive statues, but I'm sorry I don't remember the name, but there was so much packed into one day that its hard to remember it all :)

Amazing day and experience!!
Ahmed from Ramashka tours was amazing!
When nobody was doing tours to Luxor because of the pandemic he somehow made it happen and made our vacation complete!
We left Hurghada at 3:45 and drove straight to Luxor with police escorts in some areas, we felt totally safe!
When we got to Luxor we met Said our guide and amazing egyptolog who gave us great details about all the places we visited, the Temples of Karnack, Valley of the Kings(and all the tombs we visited), Hatshepsut's Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Luxor Temple, the Nile and everything we wanted to know about the places we visited!
Thanks Said!
We also took a 45min boat trip down the Nile that was really refreshing, we cooled off in the breeze and had tea.
We visited the alabaster factory that was very cool, we learned about the process involving making artifacts from this great crystal!
We had a great lunch in a restaurant on the west bank of the Nile overlooking the city!
What a great day!
Recommended all the way!
Thanks again Ahmed and Said!
