Tagestrip Kairo mit Amal
Wir hatten einen wundervollen Tag mit Amal. Wir besuchten die Pyramiden, das Museum, machten eine Nilfahrt und hatten ein großartiges Mittagessen. Sie hat alles perfekt erklärt und unglaublich viel interessantes Wissen über die ägyptische Geschichte und Kultur mit uns geteilt. Was dieses Erlebnis wirklich besonders gemacht hat, war ihre Herzlichkeit. Sie war unglaublich freundlich, fürsorglich und mit voller Leidenschaft bei ihrer Arbeit. Man konnte wirklich spüren, wie sehr sie liebt, was sie tut. Danke, Amal, dass du unseren Tag unvergesslich gemacht hast. Wir können diese Tour und besonders unsere wundervolle Reiseführerin Amal nur weiterempfehlen.

Diving into the Pyramid of Cheops, the Center of Egyptian Power
We traveled to Cairo on 05.05.26. Shaima was our guide. This trip to Egypt will be remembered for a lifetime. We visited the Giza Pyramids and rode camels, and we were impressed by our visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza. We also took photos with the Sphinx and visited the new Museum of Egyptian Civilization. In addition, Shaima organized a short boat trip on the Nile for us. We had a private tour for our family, which includes two teenage children and a baby. Shaima was very attentive to everyone, and she supported her wife, who wasn't feeling well that day. Shaima was very quick to get in line and was the first to tell us a lot of facts about Egypt. By the way, she speaks Russian well, and everything was quite clear. I highly recommend this tour. She was an excellent guide, and we were lucky to have her.

Отдых был отличным! Апрель, 2026, Хургада Море бирюзовое, освежающее, воздух вкусный, территория ухоженная, чистая. На пляже много шезлонгов. Номера просторные, уютные, уборку делали каждый день. Питание разнообразное, еда вкусная. Персонал приветливый, но русскоязычных мало. Брали тур на один день на пирамиды (час на самолете + час на машине). Группа была из 4 человек, экскурсию проводила гид местный эгиптолог на русском. Она с нами была с 9 до17.30. Минусом для меня стало то, что не выдали браслеты по приезду. Мы приехали в 5.30, браслеты не дали, сказали ждать до 10.30. ПОПРОСИЛИ в 9, т.к. были голодными и хотели завтракать, но нам ответили "очень жаль, ожидайте". Выдали ровно в 10.30. Это бесчеловечно! Ключи от номеров дали в 14.00.

Disappointing experience
I booked a trip to Cairo—including visits to the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum—through Tripadvisor, presented by Viator and operated by Famco Tours. The booking clearly stated that all fees and entrance tickets were included. I was instructed to provide my hotel room number upon arrival in Hurghada, which I did promptly. Afterward, I received messages via WhatsApp from a representative of Famco Tours stating that I would need to pay additional fees for the museum entry and the tour itself, otherwise my booking would be cancelled. This communication was distressing, as the representative was largely unresponsive except when requesting payment for services that had already been advertised as included. I attempted to access my Tripadvisor account to clarify the situation; however, I was unable to log in from Egypt despite trying via the mobile app, browser, and desktop. As we did not want to miss the excursion, we felt compelled to pay the additional fees. The following day, we flew to Cairo. Upon arrival, there was no representative waiting for us at the airport. Without Wi-Fi or mobile data, we had no means of contacting the tour operator. We had to approach various drivers before eventually locating ours by chance, as there was no clear signage or identification. The tour itself was rushed and poorly organized. Our visit to the pyramids allowed little to no time for photographs, and at the museum we were given only about one hour, which was insufficient to properly experience such a large and significant site. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. The tour was overpriced, poorly organized, rushed, and lacked clear communication throughout. The operator’s conduct was unprofessional, and the overall standard of service fell well below expectations.
