Expérience décevante avec le guide – à éviter.
Nous avons réservé une excursion privée de Safaga à Louxor via Viator. Le chauffeur qui nous a conduits à l'aller était très aimable et courtois – un grand bravo à lui ! Malheureusement, notre guide Mohamed a gâché toute l'expérience. Il s'est d'abord présenté comme attentionné et attaché à la famille, mais s'est révélé manipulateur. Sous prétexte de nous protéger des arnaques, il nous emmenait délibérément dans des boutiques touristiques hors de prix (par exemple, des ateliers de fabrication de bijoux), où l'on nous mettait fortement la pression pour que nous achetions quelque chose. Son comportement était condescendant, irrespectueux et même souvent légèrement agressif, par exemple si nous détournions brièvement le regard de lui ou si nous lui parlions.
Dans la Vallée des Rois, nous avons été complètement submergés par le flot d'informations sous une chaleur de 40 degrés. Mohamed ne nous a pas explicitement demandé si nous souhaitions visiter le tombeau de Toutankhamon, bien qu'il ne l'ait mentionné qu'une seule fois, brièvement, au tout début. Ce n'est qu'à la fin de la journée, lorsque nous l'avons interrogé à ce sujet, qu'il a prétendu que nous avions refusé – ce qui était faux. Le rôle d'un bon guide est de fournir des informations claires à ce sujet et, si nécessaire, de poser des questions complémentaires.
Le deuxième chauffeur à Louxor était taciturne, peu professionnel et ne s'est même pas présenté. Globalement, malheureusement une expérience très désagréable et décevante. Je vous recommande vivement de demander à ce prestataire un guide différent de Mohamed – ou de choisir une excursion complètement différente.

Amazing Luxor day tour
Great day trip to Luxor from Hurghada. Excellent guide both in knowledge and expertise and safety. Mr Ahmed Elaziz was outstanding. Took us back to Hurghada and shared lots of photos he had taken during the day. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟guide and tour!

Fantastique journée à explorer Louxor avec Abdul et Ahmed !
Nous avons passé une journée fantastique à explorer les sites incroyables de Louxor. Notre guide touristique, Abdul, était absolument brillant — tellement bien informé, attachant et passionné par l’histoire égyptienne, ce qui rendait chaque arrêt fascinant. Notre chauffeur, Ahmed, était tout aussi merveilleux — courtois, patient, et nous nous sommes assurés de voyager dans le confort tout au long de la journée.
Vu la chaleur, nous avons vraiment apprécié l'approvisionnement régulier en boissons fraîches, et le délicieux déjeuner fourni était un vrai régal. Un des points forts a été la promenade en bateau à travers le Nil, offrant une vue imprenable et une brise rafraîchissante. Cependant, la visite du temple de Karnak — vraiment impressionnante — nous a inspirés et donné vie à la narration d’Abdul.
Dans l'ensemble, un voyage fantastique, bien organisé avec une équipe brillante. Fortement recommandé!

A Grand Day Out!
Fantastic day exploring Luxor with Abdul and Ahmed!
We had a fantastic day exploring the incredible sights of Luxor. Our tour guide, Abdul, was absolutely brilliant—so knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Egyptian history, which made every stop fascinating. Our driver, Ahmed, was equally wonderful—courteous, patient, and made sure we travelled in comfort throughout the day.
Given the heat, we really appreciated the regular supply of cold drinks, and the delicious lunch provided was a real treat. One of the highlights was the boat ride across the Nile, offering stunning views and a refreshing breeze. However, the absolute standout for us was the tour of the Temple of Karnak—truly awe-inspiring and brought to life by Abdul’s storytelling.
Overall, a fantastic, well-organised trip with a brilliant team. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour, service and guide
I booked this tour a few days in advance and had to change the date last minute as my partner had some tummy issues 😁 prompt communication and no issue changing the date, which was very much appreciated by us. On the day of the tour we got picked up just before 5 and had a smooth drive with comfort stops. Once in Luxor we met another driver who’d take us round for the day and we met our guide El Tayeb (LT), who was truly amazing to have around all day. He patiently told us what to look out for, the history and so much more. He took pictures of us and really guided us along which made for an unforgettable day. There is water or soft drinks on offer all day and the driver even stopped to get us ice cream. The car was comfortable, airconditioned and you can leave anything the car that you do not want to carry around all day.
Thank you for a long but worthwhile and unforgettable day. We would not have wanted to miss it.

Best tour ever
I'm a travel consultant and my clients did this tour with you today. Since they’re currently abroad in Egypt, they asked me to leave this review on their behalf. They gave it 5 stars! They were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The guide was amazing — did the whole tour in Portuguese, super kind and friendly. The driver was also very attentive. They loved everything! Fantastic Tour of Luxor.
It was a long day but an unforgettable experience. Our private driver was the smoothest I have ever had. Our guide for the day was Shrehan who was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history behind each part of the tour and was patient with all our questions. I think having our own guide meant we gained a lot more from the experience. Our trip on the Nile was wonderful with the two young boys who took us getting us dancing and celebrating as we travelled along the river. We returned after a very long and tiring day with memories that will last us a lifetime.

L'expérience a été telle que décrite dans le dossier. Nous avions 2 chauffeurs, un pour nous conduire à Louxor et un autre pour nous conduire à Louxor avec le guide. Le trajet était très fluide et nous avons pu dormir jusqu'à et depuis Louxor. Samira était notre guide lors des visites des sites. Elle était très sympathique et bien informée sur l'histoire derrière les sites. Nous la recommandons vivement.
