Breathtaking trip with Prof Ahmed Elsisi.
Wow. An unforgettable experience and one of the best days of our lives.
Blown away completely by it.
Our driver Ahmed Saleah picked us up from Hurghada and was brilliant and highly professional.
Our tour guide Prof. Ahmed Elsisi was a charming guide, extremely knowledgeable and full of information which was delivered in an easy to understand and at times humour. He clearly had so much more to tell us but kept it within our own knowledge so as not to overwhelm.
The balloon trip was simply great and my wife's favourite bit. The numerous temples and the palaces we visited were amazing.
All in all this trip was one of our bucket list wishes and there were many moments that were real pinch me moments and the memories will last a life time. Thank you.

The best thing to come out of Egypt since Mo Salah!
Where to start! This was by far the best tour I have taken and I’ve taken many around the world. Incredible value and bang for your buck!
We were picked up promptly and driven from our hotel in Hurghada to Luxor in a modern air conditioned car. Our driver Mahmoud, who was with us throughout our tour was thoughtful, safe and the ultimate professional opening doors and providing unlimited cold drinks.
We arrived in Luxor where we were warmly welcomed by Professor Ahmed Elsisi (The Prof as my wife and I named him) our expert guide and Egyptologist. He is one of the most knowledgeable and warm human beings you will ever meet. The best thing to come out of Egypt since Mo Salah!!
Arriving at around 7pm he took us to a local eatery and then whizzed us around the breathtaking Luxor Temple before dropping us at our perfectly adequate budget hotel.
We were picked up by the balloon company at 4.30am and taken to the launch area. Words cannot describe sunrise in a hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings so I’ll attach a photo.
The rest of the day was over to The Prof. He knew everyone and was clearly liked and respected by everyone from the other tour guides to the hawkers and the toilet attendants. He never bombarded us with facts but rather told a story and brought these incredible historic sites to life. A real sage. We felt lucky to have spent this time with him. We toured the Valley of the Kings and all the other major sights - just breathtaking.
Legacy Tours were efficient and everything ran like clockwork. They obviously choose their partners and employees well and know their onions!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I rarely write reviews but I couldn’t ignore writing a review for what has been the tour of a lifetime. From start to finish, everything has been perfect. Legacy Tours have communicated efficiently at every step of the way to ensure our trip was exactly as we wished for it to be.
We had originally planned a single day trip but Legacy Tours amended this to an overnight tour, and we are delighted they did. Luxor Temple in the evening, away from the heat and madness was staggering (and having a decent rest before the busy day ahead was much appreciated).
Our driver, Mahmoud - what a superstar. Driving proficiently, safely and such good company - and with total comfort (and cold drinks en route)! Nothing was too much trouble, even when we asked for a coffee stop. I could not recommend him enough… you are in safe and kind hands.
However, our guide and Egyptologist was the legend that is Professor ‘The Prof’ Ahmed Elsisi - he is the cherry on top of the icing. His knowledge, warmth, humour, professionalism and passion is quite something to behold. I have never felt more assured, better led or as cared for as we did with our new lovely friend ‘The Prof’.
The trip itself: incredible. The balloon ride was like something out of the movies: picturesque, serene, totally emotional! Our pilot was brilliant - fun, professional, experienced, happy. From a girl who doesn’t do heights, you would never know you were off the ground. If you ever want to experience a hot-air balloon ride, Luxor is the place to do it (the views at sunrise over The Valley of The Kings… oh my!).
From start to finish, the whole experience was unparalleled by any tour I’ve ever been on - with our own photoshoot (literally, our own shoot!), great food, the planned tour, the storytelling (by The Prof) and the mind-blowing monuments, tombs, history and art work. Sailing on our private boat on the Nile and seeing King Tut and his tomb were just the extra bonus.
I have always wanted to go to Egypt to see the pyramids (which I now have), but I would easily recommend Luxor as a place to visit too (and we will definitely be back to see more of Luxor).

Balade en montgolfière avec visite guidée de la vallée des rois
Notre guide professeur Ahmed Elsisi était extrêmement compétent et a rendu l'expérience à la fois amusante et intéressante.
L'expérience du début à la fin a été de première classe de notre chauffeur qui nous a conduits à Louxor de Hurghada au pilote et au personnel au sol de la montgolfière. Par une journée exceptionnellement chaude, nos besoins ont été satisfaits à tous égards.
Je recommande vivement.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Die Ballonfahrt bei Sonnenaufgang war traumhaft – sicher, stressfrei und wunderschön organisiert. Der erfahrene Kapitän und der freundliche Fotograf (bereitgestellt von Lagancy) machten das Erlebnis perfekt.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unseren Reiseleiter Mark: Er spricht ausgezeichnet Deutsch, ist herzlich, fürsorglich und verfügt über beeindruckendes historisches Wissen – genau dosiert und auf unsere Interessen abgestimmt. Selbst unser 9-jähriger Sohn war begeistert vom Tal der Könige, obwohl wir vorher Zweifel hatten, ob es für ihn spannend genug wäre. Seine Fotos und Videos mit Musik waren das i-Tüpfelchen.
Auch unser Fahrer war sehr nett, zuverlässig und das Auto komfortabel – ideal für die Fahrt mit Kind. Dank der Übernachtung im Vorfeld starteten wir ausgeschlafen und entspannt in den Tag.
Die gesamte Planung wurde flexibel an unsere Wünsche angepasst – Ablauf, Tempo und Inhalte waren ganz auf uns abgestimmt. Wir fühlten uns bei Lagancy wie VIP-Gäste mit privater, persönlicher Betreuung – definitiv besser aufgehoben als viele andere Touristengruppen, die wir unterwegs gesehen haben.
Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, das wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Expérience inoubliable
Excellent voyage sur la montgolfière au-dessus de Louxor une expérience inoubliable, notre chauffeur pour la journée était Boomba qui s'est bien occupé de nous, y compris les boissons et les arrêts. Notre guide Professeur Ahmed était gentil et a répondu à toutes nos questions, il était très bien informé sur l'Egypte ancienne qui était très impressionnant. Le petit-déjeuner et le déjeuner au restaurant parisien étaient également inclus, dégustant une cuisine égyptienne locale. Notre guide Ahmed nous a également emmené sur une excursion en bateau sur le Nil qui n'était pas inclus dans notre visite donc merci nous avons adoré IT. Nous ne pouvions pas demander un meilleur voyage alors merci à notre chauffeur et guide et le personnel du restaurant Paris.

Excellent experience and the "what to expect" was exactly what was detailed!
The tour guide and Egyptologist was very knowledgeable on ancient history and was very helpful and took his time with us to tell his stories!
The hot air balloon flight was absolutely amazing and a memory I will forever cherish!
Food at Paris was very nice and it was good to taste the local cuisine.
Big shout out to Boomba our driver for providing water and looking after us from leaving our hotel in Hurghada to our returns.
Overall I would highly recommend this trip and well done to both guide and driver.
Memories were certainly made!

Un voyage vraiment inoubliable!
Un voyage vraiment inoubliable. Nous avons été récupérés à notre hôtel à 23 heures par notre chauffeur Mohamed qui nous a conduit les 4 heures à Louxor. Ici, nous nous sommes arrêtés pour le petit déjeuner dans un restaurant, qui bien qu'étant charmant, nous avons été tristement à de multiples reprises fait pour se sentir extrêmement mal à l'aise par deux travailleurs masculins qui nous a donné envie de partir. Bien que ne faisant pas partie de l'entreprise, nous pensons qu'il est important de souligner.
Après le petit déjeuner, nous avons été recueillis en mini bus et emmenés aux montgolfières, ici nous avons rencontré notre charmant photographe Islam qui a pris des photos incroyables pour nous que nous garderons à jamais précieuses! La montgolfière était une expérience magique, offrant une vue exceptionnelle sur le lever du soleil et un aperçu de la vie pour ceux qui vivent en contrebas à Louxor. Toutes les personnes impliquées ont travaillé dur pour assurer notre sécurité et toute inquiétude d'être en hauteur a disparu rapidement.
Nous rencontrâmes alors notre guide Ahmed et nous nous dirigâmes vers la vallée des rois, où nous explorâmes les trois tombeaux avec lui à nos côtés. Ahmed était un conteur exceptionnel, montrant sa passion et ses connaissances pour tout ce qui touche à l'Egypte. . montrant également ses talents de photographe en prenant de nombreuses photos pour nous. Une fois terminé ici, nous nous sommes dirigés vers un atelier d’artistes, où nous avons découvert comment les artistes façonnent différentes sculptures, en allant nous-mêmes et même en repartant avec la nôtre, ce qui était un moment fort.
En raison de la maladie, nous avons écourté notre voyage, ce qui était extrêmement décevant, mais Ahmed était exceptionnellement gentil et plus que compréhensif.
En tant que deux jeunes femmes, nous appréhendions de faire un si long voyage seul, mais notre chauffeur Mohamed a rapidement éliminé ces peurs avec sa charmante personnalité. Il s'est surpassé pour nous mettre à l'aise, en discutant et en riant avec nous, ce qui a rendu un long trajet en voiture un peu plus supportable. Donc merci en plus à lui!
Ce voyage était vraiment inoubliable et je n'hésiterais pas à réserver à nouveau avec eux si j'ai la chance de retourner en Égypte. Si vous y pensez - il suffit de réserver. . vous ne serez pas déçu!

Une merveilleuse expérience d'une journée à Louxor
Cette visite était une façon inoubliable et complète de découvrir la beauté de Louxor. De l'époustouflante montgolfière du matin — offrant une vue imprenable sur Louxor d'en haut — à la visite des monuments anciens et des temples majestueux, la journée a été riche en histoire et en admiration — des sites inspirants.
J'ai eu la chance d'être guidé par l'incroyable Samira, qui était incroyablement bien informée, a répondu à toutes les questions et s'est assuré que je me sentais guidé et informé tout au long de la visite. Ses idées ont ajouté tellement de valeur à l'expérience.
Je recommande vivement cette visite à tous ceux qui visitent l'Egypte. Assurez-vous simplement de planifier à l'avance — surtout pour les 4 heures de route aller-retour, qui peuvent être fatigantes. Mais une fois sur place, chaque instant en vaut la peine !
