Our tour was really great. Everything was booked and sorted for us, it was so easy given we had such a short trip to Luxor. Our guide and driver made sure we were comfortable every step of the way, and the information we received about the temples and history was wonderful. Would book again!

Quel merveilleux voyage! Merci beaucoup au professeur Ahmed Elsisi, notre guide incroyable qui a fait le tour des temples et s'est occupé de nous pendant le voyage. Je suis toujours sceptique quant aux voyages « touristiques » avant forfait, mais cela en valait certainement la peine, et je vous recommande de demander les conseils du professeur Ahmed Elsisi en particulier. Notre chauffeur était M. Ahmed Salah, qui était extrêmement flexible et gentil, qui nous a emmenés de Hurghada à Louxor, autour de Louxor et a ensuite attendu avec nous pendant une demi-heure supplémentaire lorsque nous étions en avance pour notre vol.

Our day trip to Luxor was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to the incredible team of Professor Ahmed Elsisi and our driver, Mahmoud Elsawy. Mahmoud picked us up early in the morning in Hurghada and drove us all the way to Luxor with the utmost professionalism. The car was spotless and comfortable, and he made the long journey feel easy and safe. In Luxor, we were greeted by Professor Ahmed, whose knowledge and storytelling are simply outstanding. He guided us through the temples, tombs, and monuments with so much enthusiasm that we felt like we were stepping back in time. His explanations were clear, engaging, and tailored perfectly to our interests. The whole experience felt seamless and very personal. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing — everything was arranged and perfectly timed. If you are considering visiting Luxor, we cannot recommend this duo highly enough. Professor Ahmed and Mahmoud made our trip not just a sightseeing tour, but a truly memorable journey into the heart of ancient Egypt.

We had the most wonderful day trip to Luxor, made truly special by our guide, Professor Ahmed Elsisi, and our excellent driver, Mahmoud Elsawy. From the moment we were picked up in Hurghada, Mahmoud ensured a smooth and comfortable journey all the way to Luxor. He drove with great care, making us feel completely safe and relaxed throughout the long trip. Once in Luxor, Professor Ahmed brought the city’s history vividly to life. His knowledge is outstanding, but what made the day unforgettable was the way he explained everything with warmth, patience, and a real passion for Egyptian culture. He answered all our questions with such detail and made every temple and monument feel alive with stories. Thanks to them, we were able to see Luxor’s treasures in the most enjoyable and stress-free way. We truly felt looked after from start to finish. We cannot recommend Professor Ahmed Elsisi and driver Mahmoud Elsawy highly enough for anyone visiting Luxor — they made our trip absolutely perfect!

I had a lovely experience discovering Luxor with professor Ahmed Elsisi our guide and Egyptologist and our fantastic driver Mahmoud Elsawy. We learnt very interesting facts about the famous points in Luxor like the valley of kings, Karnak temple and the temple of Hatshepsut. Would absolutely recommend for family trips!

I honestly cannot recommend this trip enough! From start to finish, it was the most magical and memorable experience – a perfect way to soak in the beauty and culture of Egypt as well as meet lovely local people from the city of Luxor. We began with a scenic drive through the desert, leading us to traditional Egyptian restaurants where we enjoyed authentic local food. Our hotel in Luxor was absolutely luxurious, with stunning balcony views overlooking the Nile – then an early start for our balloon ride! I was a little nervous for the hot air balloon at first, but everything was so well organised. The pilot was calm, professional, and instantly put me at ease. We floated through the sky at sunrise, watching the sunligh shine over the Valley of the Kings and the fields below where farmers were starting their day – it was nothing short of breathtaking. A true once-in-a-lifetime experience. A very special thank you to our incredible guide, Professor Ahmed Elsisi. It’s hard to put into words just how much he added to this experience. He was knowledgeable, easy-going, funny, and spoke perfect English. Ahmed was a true Egyptologist, his knowledge and stories were fascinating. He didn’t just show us the temples – he introduced us to real Egyptian culture, taking us to meet local potters and papyrus makers. We felt completely relaxed and cared for in his company – he truly made the trip unforgettable. Also, a big shoutout to our driver, Ahmed Saleh, who was just as amazing. He navigated the chaotic Egyptian roads like a pro (he proudly told us he’s been driving since he was 13! 😂). He kept our luggage safe while we explored the temples and always had cold water and Coca-Cola waiting for us in his cool box – a small but hugely appreciated touch in the Egyptian heat. Every moment of this day was magical. It was incredible value for money, couldn’t recommend enough. I would never normally leave reviews but felt I had to for this experience!

We heard about legacy tour via a couple who had done it at our hotel. So, we booked. A day before our planned trip my partner got ill. I messaged the company and they were amazing they worked around us and moved everything to accommodate us. We were collected from the hotel by the driver Mahmood where he drove us 3 hours to Luxor. He stopped to give us a break and supplied us with drinks for the journey. On arrival in Luxor we collected Abul our guide, who gave us the most fascinating tour of Luxor temple. His knowledge of ancient Egypt was incredible. He pointed out things that we would probably have missed. After the evening temple tour they took us to a restaurant for a traditional evening meal. Then back in the car through the crazy streets of Luxor. Where Mahmood skillfully dodged other mad drivers, people, motorbikes and horse and carriages and took us to the hotel for the night. Early wake up call on Monday morning where we were taken to the lunch site in the Valley of the Kings to meet the hot air balloons for our sunrise flight. Unfortunately the flights were cancelled due to the wind blowing in the wrong direction, we were absolutely gutted. As this was the single most thing we wanted to do. Anyway the driver and our guide met us once again and our trip (earlier than planned) took us into the valley of the kings. What can I say Abuls incredible knowledge and the tombs he told us to go into were absolutely unbelievable. Next we were driven to the temple of Hatshepsut where I actually proposed to my partner, with a crowd of cheering people excited for us. Next taken to Rameses IV temple once again knowledge and facts from Abul amazing his passion for the tours and history was obvious. We were then taken to an alabaster workshop where the techniques of the ancients are still in use. Then for a traditional lunch. Oh and a private trip down the Nile then taken back to our hotel in Hurgarda. What an amazing time, what an amazing trip. Far to many historical facts to remember. Just so disappointed about the balloon flight, but that was not the fault of the company.

Ahmed nous a accueilli pour le repas de la veille et nous a accompagné à l’hôtel le soir . Il a été très gentil avec nous.Le vol en montgolfière était juste génial nous en avons pris plein la vue .Nous avons passé une excellente journée en compagnie de Ismail. Les explications furent très claires , nous avons appris pleins de choses et avons découvert de très beaux temples et pour terminer une petite balade sur le Nil .Le trajet était très agréable , le chauffeur était à l’écoute et très aimable . Nous recommandons à 100%

Nous avons eu l'expérience la plus incroyable sur le tour de Louxor à partir des temples, la vallée des rois, croisière sur le Nil et voyage en montgolfière? C'était tout simplement magique. Ww a réservé le voyage en ligne avec Viator pendant ses vacances à Hurghada avec quelques jours de préavis. L'expérience VIP était exactement cela! Voiture privée et chauffeur pour nous deux, notre propre guide privé qui était tout simplement incroyable et a rendu cette expérience vraiment magnifique.
