So you think you know Cairo?

This excursion, provided by Ahmed, was exceptional. His knowledge of the sites coupled with his amazing photographic ability made for an educational as well as enjoyable day. As an aside, the booking description cannot adequately describe today's experience as tshe incredible mosques on this tour are truly magnificent.

Great Private tour of Coptic Cairo and bazaars

We booked this tour fairly last minute and they were entirely accommodating. They picked us up from our hotel on time and we began the tour. Fady took us throughout Coptic Cairo giving us lots of information about the areas around us and took us into multiple sites. Once finished in the Coptic areas we explored some bazaars in which he made sure that we weren’t taken advantage of. The trip went over 4 hours however we were never rushed and the time flew. We are very satisfied with the quality of our tour. All admission fees were included in our price so there were no surprises. Both members of the staff were incredibly welcoming and the atmosphere was great. Anytime we happened to be in a good photo spot, Fady was early offering to take our picture. Most places had some crowds but they are unavoidable. Best for anyone looking for a more intimate experience, great for couples and solo travellers alike.

Great tour of Hectic Cairo

Great tour visiting Old Cairo and the various churches. Our guide Ehab was very friendly and enthusiastic about his city. Some of the churches were very crowded which I didn’t care for, but that’s expected and no fault of the guide. The stops in the old bazzar wasn’t exactly what I expected as we visited specific shops of Papyrus, Perfume and then let him know I didn’t want to go to spice shop or Egyptian cotton shop. We seemed to be held captive to listen to the sales pitch of the shop owners and although you can say , “No” it wasn’t how I envisioned tour. The highlights for me were towards the end of the tour visiting the Coptic Mosque and driving through Garbage City to see the Cave Church. Special shoutout to Mahmoud for doing a great job driving through the crazy traffic and getting us around the city.

A beautiful look at Cairo’s soul with a local expert

This tour was a great addition to our trip! Walking through the ancient streets of Old Cairo and then seeing the scale of the Alabaster Mosque provided such a beautiful contrast. Bishoo was our guide, and he was so patient and insightful, answering all our questions about local culture and history. Even if you aren't a "history buff," Bishoo makes it engaging. It was the perfect length for a half-day excursion—informative but not exhausting.

Great tour!

Our guide was Fady - charming and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the four hours spent visiting the historical Christian, Jewish and Muslim religious buildings. Fady took things at a relaxed pace - ideal for us, with tired legs after lots of other previous sightseeing trips. The old bazaar was a fascinating and colourful end to the tour. We would definitely recommend booking this tour but do say, as we did, if you are not interested in the souvenir shopping stops.

Insightful and Well-Guided Coptic & Islamic Tour

We had a wonderful experience on the Coptic and Islamic tour. It was a great way to explore the rich religious and cultural history of the area, with well-planned stops and plenty of time to take everything in. Bishoy was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and very engaging. He explained the history and significance of each site clearly and answered all of our questions with patience and detail. Overall, it was an informative and enjoyable tour that I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Coptic and Islamic heritage.
