A Perfect Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor
Our 4 day, 3 night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor was truly unforgettable, and so much of that was because of our incredible guide, King Mina.
Our group was small, which made the experience feel much more intimate and personal. King Mina is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, kind, and genuinely loves what he does. Every tour was filled with fascinating Egyptology, but what really stood out was how he also shared information about other religions, history, and culture, giving us a much deeper understanding of Egypt as a whole.
He kept everything running smoothly, made sure we always knew the schedule, and had all of our entrance tickets organized and ready for us. The entrance fees were not included in the tour price, but paying King Mina the total of $107 USD for everything was simple and convenient. He was always happy to answer questions, had a wonderful sense of humor, and made every day enjoyable.
My favorite tour was Luxor Temple. The way King Mina brought the history to life made it one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. My husband’s favorite part was learning about the Egyptian gods, and King Mina explained everything in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way.
The Lady Mary cruise boat was beautiful, modern, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were always kind, welcoming, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed, making us feel right at home throughout the cruise.
We also added the Nubian Village excursion, and it was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend including it if you have the opportunity.
If you’re lucky enough to have King Mina as your guide, you’re in for an amazing experience. This cruise exceeded all of our expectations, and we left with unforgettable memories and a much greater appreciation for Egypt, its history, and its people. Thank you, King Mina, and the entire Lady Mary crew, for making this journey so special!

Very nice experience!
I really enjoyed the trip! It was very well organized and Carlos, our guide, was excellent. He knew a lot about the history and knew how to transmit his knowledge, he was passionate about it and he was very clear and transparent from the beginning regarding tips, visits, etc. I highly recommend it!

King Minah
Cruise was delightful, tours were superb. King Minah our tour guide was the best and very knowledgeable and understanding to our needs and wants. I would highly recommend booking him next time round.

Family vacation
Overall the holiday was great. The cruise was sufficient the staff were very polite and efficient. The best part however was the tour guide who we spent the most time with, which was Mina. Mina was very polite and outgoing to which helped make our experience much more enjoyable. He did his utmost to help us whenever we needed it for instance when we tried to book my student tickets online he sat next to me and made sure i did it properly. He also catered to my younger brothers needs who has autism.

Nile cruise
The Nile cruise was amazing, the actual boat was not as good as we thought, food selection, pool was a little underwhelming.
Admission fees for children with hidden disabilities should be introduced. Some of the temples let our son go in free but others made it difficult and was asked to pay, our guide (king Mina) was absolutely outstanding, went out of his way more than once, fought for our son when we felt mistreated.
He explained temples in great detail, kept us intrigued and engaged on every single tour. Mina gave us the liberty that we needed and more. Without this particular guide ( King Mina) our visit would have been half as good.

Mauvaise expérience
Très mauvaise expérience. La croisière était très bien, un 10. Mais le tour choisi était une expérience catastrophique. Il est vrai qu'ils vous emmènent voir tout ce qui est principal et indiqué, mais comme tout autre tour similaire. Cependant, la différence avec les autres est le guide, nommé MINA. Les explications étaient très mauvaises et courtes, les visites des temples étaient très brèves, rien à voir avec le temps indiqué, certains étaient même une heure et demie de moins que ce qui était stipulé lors de la réservation de ce tour, comme le temple d'EDFU, et oubliez le voyage en calèche, ils vous obligent à prendre un bus. Il n'y a pas le temps de voir quoi que ce soit tranquillement, en plus du fait que le guide ne vous explique rien, vous observez d'autres guides avec leurs groupes leur expliquant tout en détail, mais le nôtre préfère aller au café vous attendre. Pour couronner le tout, même le dernier jour, le guide indiquant qu'il fait chaud vous donne les explications dans la fourgonnette et ne vous accompagne même pas aux temples. Ajoutez à cela qu'il vous emmène de force dans des boutiques d'artisanat qui ne sont pas dans le tour, perdant du temps de visite dans les temples, sans option de dire non, bien que personne dans le groupe ne voulait y aller. Ensuite, il y a le sujet du ballon à air chaud, l'entreprise le publie en sachant qu'il est annulé pendant trois mois par le gouvernement égyptien et il est très difficile d'obtenir un remboursement. Grâce à Viator, nous y sommes parvenus. Donc, il vaut mieux choisir un autre tour ou au moins demander à ne pas avoir le guide qui nous a été attribué.

We had the best guide we could have asked for during our two days in Luxor. From the very beginning, he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egypt’s history and culture.
He made every visit fascinating by explaining the historical details in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. His professionalism, patience, and attention to detail made our experience truly special. He was also very organized, making sure everything ran smoothly and comfortably.
What stood out the most was how much he genuinely cared about making our trip memorable. Thanks to him, our time in Luxor was unforgettable, and we learned so much while enjoying every moment.

Notre guide Mina était excellente — bonne gestion du temps, maintenant le groupe connecté et rendant l'expérience agréable dans l'ensemble. Il est une personne très sociable, amicale et gentille.
La chronologie semblait précipitée. Attendez-vous à des appels de réveil dès 4 : 00 AM.
Budgetez en conséquence : à partir de juin 2026, les frais d'admission s'élèvent à environ 4 900 EGP, plus 10 USD/jour pour les pourboires de l'équipage, plus un pourboire séparé pour votre guide si vous le souhaitez.
Quelques désagréments : certaines arrêts se sont transformés en discours de vente dans des magasins locaux. À bord du navire, l'eau coûte 120 LE par bouteille de 1,5 L. Le service de blanchisserie est cher, et vous serez abordé à bord et harcelé pour acheter des massages et des souvenirs. La nourriture est correcte, mais n'est pas impressionnante.
Dans l'ensemble, c'était une excellente expérience, il suffit d'y aller avec des attentes réalistes.
