commence à 7h00 avec prise en charge à votre hôtel au Caire ou à Gizeh par un guide et transfert en véhicule privé climatisé à Alexandrie, à 220 km du Caire. Arrivez à Alexandrie vers 10h et commencez votre journée
Visite du théâtre romain (un théâtre avec des sièges en marbre pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 800 spectateurs, des galeries, une section de sols en mosaïque et un jardin d'agrément entouré de villas et de bains romains).
Ensuite, une visite à la catacombe de Kom El-Shoqafa (Tombes sur trois niveaux, contient également le Tri-cilium où les parents s'asseyaient sur des bancs de pierre pour régaler les morts, un centre avec des reliefs de serpents barbus, à l'intérieur se trouvent des statues du 2ème siècle après JC de Sobek et Anubis portant une armure romaine).
Ensuite, visitez la bibliothèque d'Alexandrie Nouvelle bibliothèque d'Alexandrie la plus grande bibliothèque du monde avec 8 millions de livres, site de l'ancien phare c'est l'une des sept merveilles du monde antique, Palais de Farouk, dernier roi de l'histoire de l'Egypte.
Visitez la citadelle de Qaytbay et El Mursi Abu Elabas où vous pourrez vous promener gratuitement sur les Cornouailles.

I had a wonderful time on this trip to Alexandria, everything was perfect! 🙂 My driver arrived early to my hotel to pick me up, was a great driver, was friendly and clear about the plans for the day and made me feel very safe, which I appreciated as a solo female traveller. I had a lovely female guide (which I was very happy about!) who we met in Alexandria, she was so friendly and knowledgeable about all the sites we went to, and general information regarding local customs/tipping etc. Lunch was at a nice seafood restaurant & was delicious. I definitely recommend this tour, is a lovely day out outside of Cairo!

I've done 3 different tours with Emo Day Tours Egypt and they are fantastic! As a tour guide myself in America, I definitely recommend Emo if you're traveling in Egypt. Our most recent tour from Cairo to Alexandria was very a perfect day. The driver was very nice, and our tour guide Nermeen was great. She was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. If there was one recommendation I would make, it would be perhaps having Emo pay for the guide's lunch during the tour too. For some tourists, it's fun to eat with their guide and continue having conversations. During our tour, we asked Nermeen to join us and paid for her lunch ourselves since it was at our request. But it would be nice if the company provided lunch for their guides too as a standard practice. For the people confused or complaining about being asked to pay by card at tourist attractions and then given the cash by their guide, just know this is absolutely fine and a common practice in Egypt. Many sites managed by the Department of Antiquities do not accept cash at all and require tourists to pay for themselves using a card. There's nothing shady about the practice, and it's only a small amount. Nothing to worry about. Many thanks Emo. I'll be booking again next time I'm in Egypt :)

Recogida correcta, viaje ida también. Chofer en principio atento y guía con buen nivel de castellano y amable. Nos dieron tiempo para disfrutar de la mayoría de visitas, pero la Columna de Pompeyo sólo nos la indicaron desde la carretera y no la visitamos ni pudimos ver el túnel. Los monumentos a visitar mal cuidados. El restaurante con vistas a la bahía, buena comida, pero nos cobraron el postre y el agua a un precio muy elevado, "precio turista" Yo tengo en el impreso de la excursión que el agua entraba en la comida y del postre que no viene especificado deberían habernos informado, tanto el guía como el restaurante. Cuando nos levantamos de la mesa el guía nos indico que debíamos pagar agua y postre, nos sorprendió negativamente. El regreso a el Cairo, fue horrible y pasamos mucho miedo, la distancia de seguridad con otros vehículos inexistente, menos de medio metro y la velocidad alcanzó 165km/h , que al darnos cuenta se lo dijimos al guía, el cual pasó el mensaje al conductor que no hablaba castellano y se sonrieron un poco sarcásticamente. Espero que mejoren estos aspectos.

La partie la plus remarquable du voyage à Alexandrie a été notre pilote Mr Ashraf, si attentionné, si sympathique et tellement soucieux de notre bien-être ! Le voyage depuis et vers le Caire a été rempli de conversations très intéressantes qui nous ont fait prendre conscience de tant de choses sur Alexandrie que nous ignorions. Les spots étaient bien choisis (Pilier de Pompéi, la Citadelle, la Bibliothèque) et le déjeuner au Marché aux Poissons était trop bon. Ce fut l’un des meilleurs voyages que nous ayons fait depuis longtemps !

Alexandrie est un endroit en Égypte qui est largement ignoré par les touristes se concentrant davantage sur le Caire et le sud, mais c'est un endroit qui vaut la peine d'y consacrer environ 2 jours. Mais pour ceux qui manquent de temps, c’est un voyage parfait. Emo Tours l'a très bien organisé.

This tour was fantastic and I highly recommend it! My husband and I booked a tour for the two of us, with everything included. Our driver, Ahmed, was very prompt and courteous. There was a little language barrier, but we got around that easily with technology. (I don't speak Arabic, but my phone does!) told him I liked his music so he turned it up for me. He made sure we were comfortable, and stopped off for coffee and restrooms. He is also a much safer driver than many I have encountered in Egypt, which is a huge plus! Our tour guide was Ayman and I can't say enough about his enthusiasm and knowledgeability. He truly loves Alexandria and it shows. He's a professional Egyptologist so he was able to give detailed explanations. He is also very knowledgeable of the full timeline of Egyptian history, not just the ancient, which meant we got way more than we anticipated! He taught us about Egyptian history, culture, politics, and gave us a brief introduction to Islam (not in a preachy way - we wanted to know). He is one of the most personable people I have ever met. The day was more like hanging out with a friend in their hometown than like a stuffy formal tour. I don't know if you can request your driver and guide but, if you can, you should definitely ask for Ahmed and Ayman!
