Excellent tour guide Azza full of information and knowledge helped with pictures etc seemed to be (guided) towards certain shops in old market little bit of pressure to buy but make sure you haggle and ask for price in your currency as well as Egyptian pound 🙄

Great experience. Well looked after by our taxi driver. He then contacted the Rep, Zee, who spoke on the phone to give us instructions and timings etc. We then picked him up on route and he explained how our tour would go. Zee is very informative, chatty and friendly. After the cathedral and Mosque we visited the old market and Zee explained how the market operated, taking us to the lovely nougat shop for coffee.

Firstly I have to state that I’ve been to old Sharm many times, but as we hadn’t been back to Sharm for 10 years and now have a child we thought a guided trip to see the mosque etc would be fun. I’d priced a cab from our hotel (Savoy) to old town and was a bit curious how this tour was coming out so cheap. From start to finish it was a faultless trip. Booking through Tripadvisor was simple and fast. The car and driver were excellent, far better than the usual local cabs. I have to mention our driver (Abdo), he was very careful and considerate of our child through traffic etc. Our guide Zee was excellent, his knowledge and information on all the sites especially the mosque and cathedral was unbelievable. We needed a stop for some food so he arranged a trip to an excellent restaurant and made some superb suggestions on local dishes, some of which I’ve never had in all the trips we’ve had here. He then took us to some local shops as we needed to load up on some gifts for family and we saved a ton vs what we were quoted previously in Na’ama Bay and Soho Sq, if you need to do some shopping then he’s worth the booking fee alone! All in all it was an excellent trip. If I was going to leave one tip though it would be to book early enough to get sunset at Farsha or the lookout point there. Also ask for Zee as your guide!

The time around the market was good, our guide Azza gave us plenty of time here. The mosque and cathedral are both good to look at and if you are religious it would be interesting for you. Azza was a good guide and got us back to the hotel in time for our evening meal.
