Magic day
An excursion to the top!!
Perfect care from start to finish , everything is well organized from morning to night.
Nice surprise on arrival in Cairo; we had a French guide named Mahrous , who really made us have a great day , when booking we did not have the possibility to take a French guide c was Russian or Italian , it really pleased us on arrival🤗.
As for the day , we loved the outing on the pyramids website, we went for a camel ride for 10€ per person c was nice , our guide knew how to take pictures of us in "key" places👌🤗 (the pyramids is what we liked best about this day )then a visit to a perfume store , nice welcome but we want to sell you essence of perfume , everyone will do as they want , the welcome was friendly at "tata Farida"🤗 we drank tea but everything is done to make you buy 😉
It’s 12:00 pm we have lunch break , you will have the right to a buffet , if you don’t eat meat (like me and my husband) don’t expect to eat fish because there are none , for drinks you have to pay (count 2€50 or 3€ per drink) know that throughout the day bottles of water are available in the private van that transports us .
Then we continue in a store where we make the papyrus , we want to offer you to buy some, again everyone will do as he wants .
The day will continue at the Egyptian Museum and will end with a short walk of about twenty minutes on the Nile (for those who wish; 10 € per person) and we finish this day with a return to the airport and a pick-up on arrival to take us back to our hotel.
Thank you Book Tour Egypt for a wonderful day 🤗🤗🤗👌🐪

Book Tour Egypt Cairo Day trip - 100% Reccomend.
Great experience. It is a long day but it is very full so no real time to be tired.
All comms before via whatapp. Its so easy.
Pick up was easy. The airport flight out was easy and we got boarding passes for return too. Its a domestic flight so security is quick. There is a small cafe in the airport to grab a coffee or sandwich. The flight was fine and so was finding the guide outside the airport. We stopped at a shop where you could get coffee, snacks or breakfast. Not sure if all do this
We got offered the nile boat ride next. The nile boat ride is 10€ extra per person but worth it. You have come all that way so why not go on the nile.
The egypt museum was next and was busy but the guide was amazing and new so much. It is very much a whistlestop tour where you are shown key artifacts, given brief info and move on. Our guide said you would need a full week being there from open to close to see it all and he was right. There is so much so dont expect to spend too much time or stop too much.
We then stopped at a papyrus demo. It is what it is, yes people may make a bit of comission but its interesting and for 20£ we took home a papyrus with our names in heirogliphs. Didnt have to buy anything and didnt feel pressured at all.
We then went for lunch. A small cafe with buffet lunch and food was nice. Good selection of curry, kofta, pasta, salad, bread and veg. Drinks were 120LE extra for a can of soft drink.
The pyramids. Dont really need to review them. They are amazing and all the info the guide gave was really interesting. We took our bus between stops so not huge amounts of walking. Stopped 4 times. In the pyramid complex to see everything. One stop was for a camel or carridge ride at 10€ per person extra. Again. Worth it for the experience but it was no pressure and you could explore the area while others did it if u didnt opt to do it. There is lots of stalls at the stop to buy gifts etc. Haggle and haggle hard.
Did a stop at a perfume factory. Again it makes them a few quid which is fine. No hard sell. It did smell nice but 30£ for the 30ml, 40£ for 50ml and 90£ for 300ml it was pricy. They did have some offers for buying more than 1.
We then got the option of either a shopping mall or a walk through old cairo. We all choose old cairo. Really interesting to be immersed in the culture and daily life. If a bit overwhelming as it was quick so we could fit it in.
We had a very quick pit stop at mcdonalds before the airport. Flight back was fine. Spent next to no time in either airport it was seemless and guide was there at the door to take us home.
It was a great day and I would highly reccommend it and book tour egypt. Do all the extras and enjoy them. The guide knew so much. No question was too difficult. He was funny and engaging throughout. Even whilst fasting for ramadan too. Thanks Ahmed. The driver was great too mohammed. God knows how he managed the traffic and roads in cairo but we were safe and secure and he got us there each time.
Tips:
Do your own evisa online. Its the same price. Print it at home then passport control stamp your passport on your arrival. Take copies of the evisa just to show. Alternatively the tour will sort them on the day but it does have an extra cost. I think its 25$ for the visa plus 5$ extra and those that didnt sort before had to wait a bit longer in the airport to sort the stamp.
Dont take water. Its heavy to carry and you get given more than enough free on the bus.
Dont take aerosols they will confiscate at the airport. Even small ones.
Take a hat or buy a head scarf of a vendor at the pyramids. Dont pay more than 100LE the next person will sell it for less if they wont budge (but they will).
Take some small snacks if you will need them. Its not always easy to grab something due to the tight timescales on the day.
Carry things in a small bag but dont worry as the bus is secure and you can leave things on at stops.
There are toilet stops throughout and all toilets were clean so no worries there.
Overall. It really is a great trip and the company were great organising it all. Would 100% reccomend.

Wonderful day in Cairo
Wonderful day everything went to plan, our guide was amazing, so informative and funny. It was a truly amazing day, everybody in our mini bus agreed. Such a good experience. Tour of Cairo first followed by a river boat trip on the Nile. Then on to the Museum, which was amazing. Next we went to the pyramids and had a camel ride, it was fab .Spynx was next and then a trip to an essential oils factory. Such a good day, we loved it. Highly recommend.

Pyramid and Sphinx experience
We were tired after our wonderful day! The guide and drivers were amazing! We loved everything about our day!
Maybe a little less time in the essential oils shop, but that’s only because I have enough essential oils. I can’t thank the guide enough for his hard work, there were eleven people in our group and I was the only English speaker and he took the time to translate after saying everything in Italian first. May I congratulate him for his kindness and understanding professionalism, especially during Ramadan! He must have been thirsty for speaking so much! I thank all concerned for our once in a lifetime experience! Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Learn to read hieroglyphics in the museum
A) Detail knowledge, presentation: Top!!! In the museum a photo tour without other tourists!
B) Offers to purchase: Horse-drawn carriage rides, camel rides, papyrus shop ("Museum"), perfume shop.
Very positive: That after a CLEAR no from us we were not pushed!
C) Minus: After 3 pm, unfortunately, there was an idle for several hours until the departure at 19:50. We could easily have gone to Al Khalili Market. Therefore, unfortunately, only 4 out of 5. My tip: Insist on visiting Al Khalili Market es! That's also why here on TripAdvisor I rate "only" 4 ("very good") and not 5 ("sophisticated").

Hieroglyphen lesen lernen im Museum!
A) Thema Wissen und Präsentation:
