Bad experience
We booked the experience through Viator, initially expecting it to be a fantastic adventure. Unfortunately, it quickly turned into a disappointing and frustrating ordeal. Our guide, Abdo Esmael, a freelance worker for the company "Reflections," turned out to be a scam. From the outset, Abdo pressured us to go shopping instead of visiting key historical sites, frequently suggesting that we skip important locations because "they weren't worth it." Despite having tickets for the Valley of the Queens, he insisted we bypass it to buy essential oils instead.
Abdo would give a brief mention of each site, then leave us to explore on our own while he waited at the entrance. There was no in-depth explanation or real guidance. When we expressed our desire to follow the planned itinerary and see the sites we had paid for, he kept pushing us toward shopping every hour. He also made it clear that he was expecting large tips, which felt uncomfortable and inappropriate. It seemed as though he was trying to make extra money by selling tickets for sites we didn’t visit. Ultimately, we felt deceived and uncomfortable, as if we had been taken advantage of. Unfortunately, it was an overall negative experience.

5 star Luxor tour with Mohamed Awad
Great trip! Amazing sites. Mohamed Awad, our Egyptologist guide, was excellent. Learning the history and the specific words and uses of hieroglyphics and pictures on the temples and tombs was a highlight. Lunch was delicious with egyptian style food. 10/10 would recommend this trip.

Perfect Luxor tour with great guide!
Our tour guide Hatem was great! Was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. He taught us many new and interesting things about the ancient Egyptian history. Also he was very thoughtful and nice - asked if we needed anything and was ready to help and support.

A truly wonderful and memorable day
This was a fantastic day at Valley of Kings, Queens, Hatshepsut Temple and several other sites. Mikhail was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide who shared his knowledge as we moved around the sites. He made it easy to find our way around and his 3 suggested tombs at Valley of Kings were excellent. Also appreciated the pace so we could visit extra paid tombs. Great visits to tombs in Valley of Queens and also workers tombs. Overall, Mikhail guided on an unforgettable tour. He was ably assisted by Mustafa who drove very well, was very courteous and was always eating each time we finished.

Great day trip
Me and my friend had great day tour in Luxor with our tour guide Mikhail and Yusif as our driver. Mikhail was very effective and knowledgeable. Easy to get all the important sites with a breeze. Yusif drove very well. Very punctual trip all and all. Highly recommend.

Great 3-day tour with the best guide
Our tour guide Mohsen Barbary made this 3-day trip in Luxor unforgettable! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we had the best experience. Excellent experience in Luxor!
We had an amazing day in Luxor, and much of it is due to our friendly guide Hany Yassen. The guide demonstrated a deep knowledge of each attraction, making the tour not only informative, but also interactive and engaging. It was a pleasure to learn with him!
The driver Ahmed also deserves praise – he drove safely and comfortably, and the car was of great quality, providing a quiet ride. Everything went perfectly from beginning to end. I highly recommend this experience to those who wish to explore Luxor with comfort and information!
