Your qualified Egyptologist Guide will pick you up from either your hotel/Nile Cruise in Luxor or Luxor International Airport and accompany you on your visit to the West Bank where you can see the famous Valley of the Kings where there are many kings buried in this valley. The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII.
Then proceed to visit the majestic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty 1490-1469 B.C the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.
After this we will carry onto the colossi of Memnon where you have the opportunity to take some photographs.
Then Move to visit the magnificent Valley of the Queens where the tomb of the Great Queen Nefertari lies.
We now journey to the East Bank in Luxor. Lunch at a local restaurant. After your lunch we will proceed to visit Karnak Temples the greatest example of worship in history dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu.
End your tour by visiting the beautiful Temple Of Luxor which was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. After you have finished your tours you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Luxor or Luxor International Airport.

Mohammed was our guide. It was a very good guide, friendly and helpful. His knowledge of Egyptology was overwhelming and he was seen to be really passionate about the subject. BUT. We didn't see the Valley of Queens. I had read in other reviews that it is common for guides to do to skip this particular destination and told us that it was closed and we saw that it was not (by reviews, by news, by asking other guides) we let them know but it could not be debated much in front of an "It's closed"... It's their word in front of your deduction and they handle the situation. Instead he was wanting to take us to stores where it is obvious that they receive a commission. We went to one alabaster and refused more directly to go to two others. I'm sorry I didn't get to know that Valley despite having paid for it and I hope Viator can help us make up for that. I recommend being very assertive with the guides (trying not to strain the situation) and rejecting any stops in shops, workshops or other options that sell you as "alabaster museum, papyrus museum, Egyptian oil museums, etc"

Had a great tour which was an eye-opener. The tour was made so much special by the incredible generous knowledge by our guide, Mr Mohsen. The car was comfortable and the pace of the tour was just nice. High recommended.

The tour started with the guide telling us how the Jews control the worlds economies and have hidden secrets about the sites we are visiting. Soooo, not a great start to the tour. The guide twice tried to pretend he didn't notice us at a site to avoid having to answer our questions. He several times complained we were going too slow and pushed us to skip several things. We eventually agreed to remove one site from the itinerary (Karnak), as well as told him he didn't need to come into Luxor with us, just drop us off there. That was fine with us as we were sick of him at that point. We finished the tour in under 8 hours which is how long its supposed to last. Even though the tour says that the entry fees are covered the guide insisted they aren't and refused to pay. So we paid our own entry fees because we are there, its not like we aren't going to go inside! When I complained to the tour operator later he did apologize and brought me cash to compensate me for those entry fees I had to pay. The large amount of cash was a little inconvenient as we only had ~12 hours left in town but it was better than nothing. The tour guide made an unscheduled stop at a pretty crappy alabaster stone shop that had comically high prices. This was definitely a scam that the guide was a part of, and it was not appreciated at all once we realized what was going on. The lunch was mediocre but the view at the restaurant was great. I have no idea how much of the tour money went to the lunch but it felt like it was worth it. Late in the day I watched the guide buy drugs off someone at the temple of Hatshepsut and do some of them in the car. So that's nice. When we later got in the car after visiting the temple we nonchalantly asked him what the drug scene was like in Egypt and he *very* enthusiastically told us all about it. This may be a plus depending on what you are looking for. The driver for all of this was a fine dude, no complaints with him.

I highly recommend this tour. Josef was very nice and very informative and I saw everything I wanted to see in Luxor. This is ideal if you want to see everything in one day.

My tour guide Hosney was terrific. He patiently waited for me at the Luxor airport when my flight got delayed. Hosney is a seasoned tour guide who has a lot of passion for Egyptology. He took me to a great local restaurant and had the manager prepare an off the menu dish. He seemed well respected in Luxor as every few minutes someone would stop him and greet him warmly. Ask for Hosney!
