We visited the pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum with Alaa. We were a multilingual group and Alaa took the time to do the explanations in French and Arabic throughout the day, so that everyone could understand and enjoy the tour. It was very appreciative. His explanations were very clear and detailed, both on the construction of pyramids and on Egyptian civilization in general. He has a very good knowledge of history and knows how to convey it in a simple and accessible way, which made the visit really rewarding. Alaa answered all our questions with enthusiasm and kindness. During our layover in Cairo, my partner and I booked this full-day tour of the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum, and it turned out to be the perfect way to make the most of our limited time. The day was very well organised and, despite the ambitious itinerary and our tight schedule, it never felt too rushed. Both our driver and our guide were extremely thoughtful and kind throughout the day, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Yasmeen, our guide, was full of energy, very friendly, and genuinely good fun, which really helped keep us going even though we were quite tired from traveling. Towards the end of the day I started to feel unwell, and both Yasmin and the driver were very considerate, regularly checking on me and adjusting the pace so I could still enjoy the experience. Thanks to them, what could have been a very exhausting day turned into a really enjoyable and memorable visit. We would highly recommend this tour, especially if you only have a very short time in Cairo, such as a layover, and want to see the main highlights without worrying about logistics. Thank you very much to the whole team for making our brief stay in Cairo so special.
