Mina's been a great guide. Detailed and entertaining explanations in the temples and extra visits not mentioned to places to buy souvenirs such as basalt or perfumes. Willing to help in case of any problems. A highly recommended guide.

Excellent trip The cruise was clean. The smiling staff. The guide: king mina was great, it gives good explanations regarding Greek and Roman Egyptian mythology. He was very understanding. Would definitely recommend.

Good experience, the boat and rooms are pretty clean, the food relatively good. Be careful, count an additional $140 for entry to the temples (pay at once because purchased in advance by the guide). Nor is it a “rest” cruise, waking up at 4am to do as many things as possible. Mina was a great guide, a friendly personality and clear explanations. The temples visited are very beautiful and impressive, it is really not to be missed.

A jam-packed 4 days of temples and tombs combined with serene cruising down the Nile. Our tour guides, Mina for the first two days, and Carlos for the last two, were both excellent, combining a great knowledge of ancient Egypt, and the sites we visited, with a very good command of the English language and enthusiasm, so they were easily understood and they made the tour so much more interesting.

I had an amazing time! Everything was smooth sailing from the get go and made our time so much more enjoyable. I booked months in advance and gave Viator my flight info and then completely forgot about it. It wasn’t till I got to the airport in Aswan that I thought this could go wrong very quickly. Lucky, they were very organised, I got a message from our driver minutes after landing that he was waiting for us and he took us straight from the airport to the boat where we met our guide Mina. Mina was so much fun and made our trip a 10/10. He organised all of our tickets for our tours, cars, itinerary, gave us alternative options when we weren’t too keen on something (riding in the horse and carriage), took us to local businesses to try spices and essential oils and just made us laugh! We would spend the first half of our tours learning from Mina and then he would give us adequate free time to go get photos and explore a bit more. Every time we arrived to the meeting point about 5 minutes before his suggest time, basically meaning he was pretty spot on with the amount of free time he gave us. The boat was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was hit or miss in my opinion, not many healthy options but I made it work and there was always something I liked. We were in a group of 6, all from different countries and walks of life and I loved that! It made our time so enjoyable learning about their cultures and lives + also creating our own banter and jokes with each other. I would say if you love human connection, want to visit many many Egyptians sites, learn about Egyptian culture and like a cruise you will love this trip! (& if you don’t mind an early wake up) Thank you Mina, we miss you already!
