The guide was amazing, he helped us to find the best customized tour. He was very professional, experienced, and showed us the best part of Egypt and how Egyptian people can be kind and warm. The entire experience was great. The tour guide (Mr. Mahmoud ) was knowledgeable and friendly and summarised the key points of each site's history very well. He also gave good ideas for photo ops :D and allowed us plenty of time to wander around the places on our own as well. The activities were split up during the day with adequate rest periods in between.

The entire experience was amazing. The guide, Mahmoud was extremely helpful and well informed. He gave us ample time to wonder around each site on our own as well after the explanation. They catered to all our needs and did an excellent job. Would recommend their services to anyone.

I can’t say enough good things about Egypt Knight and our amazing guide Mahmoud! Truly had a wonderful Egyptian experience because of him and his service to us! We booked the 3 day cruise Aswan to luxor with them. The first day unfortunately we missed because of a flight change/delay. They waited for us at the airport late at night, got us to the ship and he even had someone meet us on the boat with a SIM card for purchase to get internet while on boat (the boat wifi is expensive and slow). The day tour to Abu Simbel is a long day and the car ride is okay, bring your pillow and it will be comfortable. The ship itself was nice and the food was good, nice variety and friendly staff. Mahmoud always escorted us to the entrance and went to buy the tickets for us so we didn’t have to wait in long queues. His knowledge is so vast and you can tell he is so passionate about his heritage, Egyptian monuments and sites. Always gave us a in depth rundown of what we were seeing and then free time to explore, even took fun photos for us. He was more than accommodating. At times he bought us soft drinks/water, and even delicious refreshing lemon mint with sugar drink that was so nice after Karnak temple. We were able to sit with him to enjoy the temple closing, in the square and learn of his family and where he studied. He always gave us tips on how to navigate some of the difficult people around tourist sites. This is the way to see Egypt, a well respected company, amazing guide, so knowledgable, generous and kind and makes the “daunting thought” of visiting Egypt so much easier and enjoyable in the end. I was worried about visiting because you only hear bad, but if I can offer any advise it would be 1. Book with Egypt knight and the hassle and worry will melt away they are always there to answer any questions 2. Learn even a few Arabic phrases, hello, good morning, no, thank you, how are you, my name is.. etc etc. if you respect the locals to speak even a few phrases they will respect you as well, we found that people were so happy and complimented our Arabic and then were very willing to help and have a nice conversation.

Good enough but not to a five star standard. I understand the star rating system hasnt been updated for a number of years. The cruise boat was outdated and looking tired. One key per room was a headache, some room equipment broken (eg safe) and no tea and coffee facilities in rooms. Food was as expected and good for Egypt. Captive audience onboard so bar rates a little of the top. Staff were friendly in the most part. Air conditioning worked well which is needed. Stopped at all the right locations for major attractions.

I spent 16 days in Egypt with my cousin, and the Cruise was one of our favorite time in the country. At the airport of Aswan on the first day, we met Mahmoud, our guide during the whole Cruise tour. He brought us directly to visit some places and immediately, we noticed that he was extremely professional and had a lot of knowledge on the Egyptian History. Through his explanations, we could see that he knew exactly what he was talking about, and that he was passionate about his country and its large history. This feeling was confirmed the next days : Mahmoud is an Egyptian encyclopedia ! He shows you and gives you details and anecdotes that you would never know or notice without being guided by him. By the way, he's a real egyptologist and owns a diploma. He was also very concerned about our hapiness and what we wanted to do and see. He was also very cautious with small but important things : here there are clean toilets if you want to go, here we can have a coffee break... You can also ask him all the questions you have about the Egyptian culture, how people lives etc. He's very opend-minded and will discuss with you about everything. Regarding the boat itself, it was perfect ! The cabin was amazing, I can even say luxurious, with everything you need and comfortable beds. The cleaning is made everyday and they make you amazing shapes with towels (I had a crocodile and a mummy on my bed ). The staff is incredibly kind, the buffet to eat is furnished and they try to change it day by day. There is a big terrasse on the boat, with sun beds, tables to have a drink or some food and a small swimming pool. There is also a bar inside, very beautiful, where you can have a break anytime. The program was as follows : Guided tours in Aswan to the temple of Philae, the High Dam and including a visit to the impressive Abu Simbel Temple. You can also choose or not to visit a nubian village (which I highly recommand). You will also visit the Komombo temple and the crocodile museum, and in Edfu, the Edfu temple. In Luxor you'll go to the East and West Banks, including the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple. Everything is included, except the tips to the staff, the drinks and the entrances to the different sites. In summary, you can book this Cruise tour without any fears or doubts but PLEASE, to make it perfect you need to choose Mahmoud as a guide, believe me !!!!!

On top of receiving everything we expected and more, this company is so highly respected, that the normally aggressive street vendors stayed back. I will be using this company for all future trips to Egypt. You should too!

I had an excellent time on this tour. Egypt Knights is a great tour company. We communicated through WhatsApp and they responded to my questions immediately, even when I texted them from the United States and it ended up being 10 PM in Egypt. They communicated with me every day of my tour in case I had any questions and to help me along the way. They provided a fantastic guide/Egyptologist named Heny who is very knowledgeable, professional, and speaks excellent English. He is on the cruise also so if you have any questions or need any advice he is always there to help. Thank you, Heny!! This is a private tour, and that is definitely the way to go. I never felt rushed, and the tour was catered to accommodate exactly what I wanted to do. They offer additional tours at a very fair price. I did a tour of the Nubian village, and we swim in the Nile from a beautiful sandy beach, then rode a camel to the Village. And I also did the hot air balloon ride in Luxor at sunrise. You have to get up very early to do it, but it was a once in a life time experience that you should not miss. The ship I was on was called the Crown Jubilee. It’s a bit of an older boat, but it is extremely clean and the crew is absolutely outstanding! Very good service and delicious food. The cabinet has a large window that you open to view the Nile directly from your room. Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you, Egypt Knights, I had an excellent trip.

The whole Nile cruise and experience was amazing! The Nile Cruise was very nice and comfortable with an old time feeling to it. It had a buffet for every meal of the day and even breakfast to go bags for the early morning to Abu Simbel! Egyptian Knight Tours set up guides to pick you up from the boat for every temple along the way to get you to the temples and give you good information/pictures! They were in constant communication to keep me up to date on the next tours and make sure I was happy. The whole experience was amazing and a great value! Highly recommend for everyone

Our Egypt experience could have not been complete without our english speaking tour guide, Mahmoud. He made sure we were safe, comfortable and met our expectations of the Nile Cruise we have booked. He met us at the airport and brought us to the cruise with detailed information we need to know from day 1 to the end of the cruise. He went out of his way to support us with our needs like arranging transport, securing snacks and bottled water and tickets to every site that we visit so prevent us staying in cue under extreme heat. He is well versed in his field making us understand the ancient history of Egypt, the temples, the pharaohs , the tombs and other artifacts. We are very grateful for his services and highly recommend him.
