Great day trip all round
Really enjoyed the trip today. So much fun. Had a bit of everything including quad biking, snorkelling and 4 × 4. Muhammed the tour guide really looked after us all day and made sure it all ran smoothly. Special thanks to him..

Bad
Tour planning failed. Our tour guide was very uninterested. Extra fees were constantly requested. The atv tour was short. Not a good experience for us.

Ok but watch out for unscrupulous shop keepers
It as a lot to pack in. I enjoyed the quad bikes and the canyon. I didn’t enjoy being ripped off by the shop keepers trying to charge 10 dollars for 2 small bottles of water. Apart from that it was a good day

L agenda n est pas terribles...et le quad est un attrape touristes
Je mets un avis sur un afin qu'il soit lu. Je donne un peu plus de précisions sur ce voyage qu'il vaut mieux savoir en amont. Pour ma part j'avais pris la totale avec la sortie quad et le chameau et l'entrée au fameux trou bleu. Je ne vous conseille pas de faire de quad car c'est juste une balade qui doit durer à mon avis même pas 10 minutes et vous allez à tout casser à 300 mètres de là. Pour la balade en chameau idem c'est juste histoire de monter sur un chameau de faire le tour sur 200 m et de revenir. Pour le quad de mon fils il n'avait pas de frein...Pour ce qui est du voyage il faut compter un petit deux heures pour arriver à la première partie qui est le chameau et le quad qui se passe au même endroit. Ensuite vous arrêtez un marchand qui loue du matériel de plongée. Même si vous êtes du matos de plongée avec vous il vous demande de louer quand même un gilet de sauvetage et des palmes. Le guide me dit que j'en ai pour 4 € et à la fin j'en ai pour 10 € juste pour un gilet de sauvetage et des palmes. ne sachant pas si c'était important que je prenne ça car je ne connais pas le lieu le guide me dit qu'effectivement il y a du courant et il vaut mieux pour des raisons de sécurité louer le gilet et les palmes. Je fais confiance je loue et en fait quand vous arrivez dans le trou bleu si vous savez nager normalement vous avez vraiment pas besoin de louer des palmes et surtout le gilet de sauvetage. Concernant la baignade vous suivez un guide qui a une bouée sur laquelle vous pouvez vous attacher et vous ressortez de l'autre côté je pense que ça doit durer 20 min il n'y a aucun risque pas besoin de gérer les sauvetage ni de palme. En tout cas la vue dans l'eau est juste magnifique. Concernant le repas rien à dire c'était vraiment très bien avec une belle vue sur la mer. Puis après on repart en voiture soi-disant pour visiter une ville et en fait on arrive dans un centre commercial où ils essaient de vous vendre du parfum et des parchemins nous avons strictement rien vu de la ville. Puis de reprendre la route pour se rendre au Grand canyon là c'est plutôt sympathique le paysage est vraiment magnifique nous montons dans un 4 4 cela dure 5 minutes on arrive à l'entrée du canyon nous traversons le canyon ça doit durer à peu près 20 minutes et le 4 4 nous attend de l'autre côté je pensais qu'il fallait avoir de bonnes chaussures mais notre guide lui il était à pied nu. En fait c'est une descente de rocher qui est plutôt sympathique avec des vues formidables. Ensuite il faut compter encore 5 minutes de 4 4 pour retrouver le petit bus. 2h de voiture plus tard nous arrivons à l'hôtel. Je vais demander si on pouvait laisser nos affaires dans le bus en amont m'avait dit non mais en fait si vous pouvez laisser vos affaires dans le bus j'aurais bien aimé avoir cette information pour emmener plus de choses dans le sac à dos car je pensais que vraiment nous allons marcher beaucoup plus alors que sur toute la balade nous avons marché à tout casser 20 minutes. Un peu déçu car le canyon c'est vraiment bien par contre tout ce qui est quad chameau ça ne sert strictement rien il vaut mieux faire la sortie quad qui dans le safari on voit beaucoup plus de choses et et c'est une vraie sortie quad au moins on voit du paysage là c'est vraiment pas terrible du tout surtout ne prenez pas du tout la sortie quad lié à cette offre. Voilà pourquoi je mets un car je ne vais pas besoin de louer du matériel en plus que mon équipement de plongée et la sortie quad c'est vraiment nul. Si vous avez possibilité de faire autrement pour aller visiter le grand canyon ça c'est vraiment chouette.

Not the Colored Canyon
Here's the list of activities and the problems I have with them: - Camel ride = 5 minutes duration. Ends with 8 year olds aggressively demanding tip. - ATV = 15 minutes at most going no more than 15 km/h next to the sea. We then do a loop towards the mountains where the "guide" stops for you to take a picture and aggressively demand tip (standing very close to you while you're sitting down and insisting "you give me tip". - Snorkeling / Blue hole = Equipment (wet suit, mask, fins, even freakin life vest) is not part of the package. You need to pay an extra 10 USD per person. I cannot comprehend how, as a tour company, you find acceptable to have clients dive in the cold water of the Red Sea without proper safety equipment guaranteed. The life vest should be mandatory at least. The snorkeling itself was nice. The water is clear, lots of fish and the coral is beautiful. The guide was helpful to people who needed it. - Lunch = It was ok. Dry/burnt chicken with rice, bread and tahini. No drinks included. - Shopping stop in Dahab = Mandatory I guess. Overpriced souvenirs, gems and perfumes. I wouldn't have had a problem with it of we stayed the determined amount of time (30 mins). We stayed for 1 hour. - Jeep ride = Short but very enjoyable. - Colored canyon = The main reason for the tour!! Aaaand it's not the Colored Canyon... It's the Red canyon. The real Colored Canyon is closer to Nuweiba. It takes about 30 minutes to go through , but only because you wait for people to take pictures that are blocking the path, not because it's big. - Not that big of a deal, but we didn't receive bottled water as advertised. Our guide was great. I liked his calm energy and professionalism. He helped us get a taxi from the Canyon to our next destination. The driving was ok, but going 140-150km/h on a poorly maintained highway with an aging minibus packed with 12 people wearing no seatbelts isn't necessary. I know this is standard driving in Egypt, but still...
