Your qualified Egyptologist Guide will pick you up from either your hotel/Nile Cruise in Luxor or Luxor International Airport and accompany you on your visit to the West Bank where you can see the famous Valley of the Kings where there are many kings buried in this valley. The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII.

Then proceed to visit the majestic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty 1490-1469 B.C the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt.

End your tour by visiting the beautiful Temple Of Luxor which was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. Incredible FULL Day Out with Lunch/Transfers
Moss the Boss - what a guy - fantastic private tour guide for group of 4. His calm nature and extensive knowledge of the Luxor attractions was second to none (he graduated Uni in this field with honours so he knows his stuff!) made it an amazing whole day out. Very tasty lunch included in this tour which we ate in the gardens next to Howard Carters house no less. Yhe whole day out was seemless Thanks Boss Tracey,Mr Ken,Richard,Kerry

Incorrect information to make you book and the itinerary is not what they write
I booked the excursion through TripAdvisor for myself and my family asking if it was possible to have the guide in Italian. The operator wrote to me and confirmed over and over again that she had heard from the local agency and there would be no problems. So I pay with the certainty of the request. We get to luxor and the guide in Italian not even the shadow. I ask Doa for explanations the guide in charge of us and did not know anything indeed told me that for the Italian I would have to pay extra compared to the amount paid. Also on the tour it is not written that there is a stop of 30/40 minutes for a mini cruise on the Nile with extra payment and those who do not want to do it are on the bus waiting. They should have written it on the program. Really bad.

A Horrible Guide made this a truly unforgettable trip
I always look at the positive side of things when I write reviews. And that is because tourism is a tough business and it is difficult to please. However when one has a genuinely bad experience, it becomes very difficult to be positive! I will still try by beginning with the positives of Reflections Travel which has got them the 2 stars. 1. The car was good 2. They had the tickets ready which saved time in the queue 3. The restaurant we were taken for lunch was good. It is another matter that neither the guide nor the restaurant told us that the juice they offered us was not part of the package. The key part of the package that makes or breaks the package is the guide and our guide Hameed was a total disaster. 1. His explanations were rushed, unclear and disinterested. At every venue in the morning (Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut temple) , we got a rushed 'explanation' and were left to go through the place by ourselves while he retreated to the cafe. Every other guide was painstakingly explaining, taking photos, etc. and here we were trying to text and call him on WhatsApp to leave the cafe and join us since we were through by ourselves !!! 2. He was more interested in getting us to shop which we weren't keen as we had done quite a bit in Cairo. After attempting to take us to alabaster, t-shirt, hieroglyphic jewellery, etc he literally demanded why we weren't buying. 3. In the afternoon he condescended to visit 2 temples with us and actually spent 10 min each before retreating to his abode (the cafe!). My daughter had read more than what he was explaining and it became difficult to get her to even listen! The wife was put off by his intrusion everytime she was looking at a shop that she decided she wasn't going to buy anything. 4. There was a demand for 15$ for permit cost to pickup at the airport (doesn't appear on Viator) which became 30$ (15 for pickup and 15 for drop). We never saw this being paid either on pickup or drop). When we paid, he rudely demanded 50 egp more as the egp had apparently depreciated against the dollar the previous day)! As if the airport charges for the permit in usd!! I am sure the permit charges (if any) had increased! More than the amount which was 1$ it was the way he interacted that was really infuriating. We ended the tour 1.5 hours early, tipped 50% of what we normally do and are spending an enjoyable 1.5 hrs at the airport cafe vs being at any of the attractions with that guide! Avoid Hameed at all costs if you want happy memories of Luxor. If you are using Reflections Travel insist that you get a different guide.

Excellent excursion to Luxor!
The visit to the tombs in the Valley of the Kings was great. The organization was perfect and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Many thanks to my guide Khaled Elsmaky, who was very professional, helpful and passionate. His explanations were clear and very interesting which made the visit even more rewarding. I highly recommend this tour and Khaled as a guide to discover the incredible history of Luxor.

Super excursion of the main sites in 6h
Khaled my super nice guide, know everything about everything, quite a lot of anecdotes, very friendly and pleasant, but tired on the second part of the day from to young Ramadan I imagine so explained quickly then left me alone for a good time then each visit for me to take pictures and he sits down, surprising this for a guide. The experience overall great and I saw 3/4 of the main places in 6 hours with good explanations, so I left a good tip to Khaled who then asked me to leave one also to the driver, quite disturbing this request if I had known I would have given him less to him at once

Wonderful day in Luxor
Our Luxor – Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple & Karnak day tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, informative, and unforgettable. Exploring the incredible tombs in the Valley of the Kings was a surreal experience. Walking through the ancient burial chambers, surrounded by beautifully preserved hieroglyphs and vibrant colors, felt like stepping back thousands of years in time. Each tomb had its own unique story, and we never felt rushed. The visit to the stunning Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut was equally impressive. The temple’s grand terraces set against the dramatic cliffs made it one of the most breathtaking sites we’ve ever seen. Learning about Queen Hatshepsut’s fascinating reign added so much depth to the experience. Karnak Temple was simply awe-inspiring. The sheer scale of the Karnak complex is hard to put into words. Walking through the massive columns of the Great Hypostyle Hall was unforgettable — it’s hard to imagine how such an enormous structure was built thousands of years ago. A huge part of what made this tour exceptional was our guide, Moss. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egypt’s history. He explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, always happy to answer questions and share fascinating details that brought the ancient sites to life. Special thanks also to our driver, Youseff, who was professional, punctual, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the day. The transportation was clean and air-conditioned, which was very much appreciated in the Luxor heat. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re visiting Luxor, this day tour is an absolute must — and if you can, request Moss and Youseff. They truly made our day unforgettable!

I'm glad you came to Luxor.
I am very happy to visit various tourist attractions in Luxor in one day. We had a lot of free time so we could enjoy sightseeing slowly. Please be aware that transfers from Luxor Airport are extra.
