I was expecting an 8hr guided tour but got a 3.5hr trip. Guide and driver were friendly. Kinda rushed the tour. The same guides on the half day Memphis tour and that was much better and more comprehensive and even longer even though it was half day vs full day. Honestly, just drive to each site using uber and control ur own itinerary and save a lot.

Sayed Mahmoud was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and very efficient with the itinerary. Great experience going from Old Cairo to Sala Din Citadel to lovely mosques and ending with interesting churches in Coptic Cairo. I recommend and ask for Sayed if you can.

Just ok. The guide was somewhat difficult to understand and did not provide a lot of information about the history of some of the sights. Compared to other guides we overheard, we seemed to be missing some of the information. The synagogue is closed and I would have liked to have known that before hand from the tour company. Was supposed to be a full day tour but ended up getting back to the hotel earlier than expected.

Wow! I highly recommend Emo tours for the private tour, especially with our guide Hola and our driver Joseph was pure amazing! She is so knowledgeable and also passionate about what she does. I wish I remembered everything she talked about. I think what I found more interest about were the mausoleums and our first stop at the Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Thank you Hola for all the informative details!

The booking process online is very easy, prices seem to be fair. We did the Day Tour to Islamic and Christian Cairo with driver and our guide Sayed Mahmoud (3 people/75$). Without breakfast we stopped at a great falafel place first. Starting with the citadel of Cairo including visiting the mosques (160EGP/person), we headed on to Christian Cairo and seeing the famous hanging church. The day finished of grabbing some food and tea at Al-Muizz street and visiting Khan el-Khalili. Staff was always very nice, the mini-van in a good shape and I would recommend exploring Cairo with a guide, especially with someone like Sayed. Alone you‘ll be lost.

We had a great trip to Islamic and Coptic Cairo with lunch We had very good overview of both cultures Our Guide Ahmed Jackson is very knowledgeable and was a great photographer too The sites and sounds were great It culminated in a safe market visit which was great Ahmed knew how to protect overseas tourist in busy haggling places of market Lunch provided in a medium budget restaurant was fine for busy day Overall its a day worth spending

This should have been a great day, exploring a fascinating area of Cairo. And with Emo Tours, a well regarded travel agency whom I have used twice before in Luxor. Sadly this was not the case. The guide (Ahmed) spent most of his time texting. Whilst he gave adequate adequate information information on Islamic Cairo, he gave next to no information on Coptic Cairo (including not even coming into a couple of the sites, instead remaining behind to text). This day ended up costing a lot of money for very little in return. By all means use the excellent Emo Tours; however, you may wish to avoid this particular guide.
