The nile cruise staff exceed my expectation. They were all helpful and the service is excelent. The food was amazing and delicious. Also tourist guides have excelent knowledge of egypt history. Particularly deep and excelent explanations of the history of egypt of tourist guides Mohamed Gobran, Talaat Abdo, etc.

The Good: All the services were provided. We visited all the sites as per the itinerary and the guides were nice and knowledgeable. We were not rushed during the visits; they were mostly on time; and WhatsApp communication was good most of the time. The not so Good: All the details and pick-up info is provided last minute always, everyday. If you cannot handle that, this package is not for you. They will book the flights for you the night before! We reserved this package 5 mounts ahead of time and we got the pick-up info the night before! As a result, the flight to Luxor was overbooked and we were set aside to wait for a cancellation. Luckily, we were delayed only an hour to the next flight; and got a compensation of 40USD each from Air Egypt. The ship was nothing like the photo you see – it’s very basic, and food was OK. You are given only an hour for each meal – very rushed. But the staff was kind and helpful, for the most part, the service was great. Last tour in Aswan was not private; and all of our tours supposed to be private. When we said this to the guide that day, he said “well it’s the last one and it’s over”!!!??? LOL. There were 3 other couples on the same tour. During the sightseeing, they did take us to couple of shops, not included in the itinerary, which is very obviously, an attempt to make commissions of the potential sales. Just say no, unless you are interested. Advise: If it’s your first time in Egypt: 1st lower your expectations 50% and 2nd be aware that everyone is trying to make as much money off you as possible, at all times. Egyptians are very charming and appear to have your best interest at heart, but do not be fooled! Once you are aware of the above, you can enjoy your experiences and have a fantastic vacation.

Overall a good experience, the sites along the Nile are spectacular. Each site comes with a tour guide to pick us up from the cruise and tell stories. The package is of good value incl flight tickets from/to Cairo and transport. Agency was flexible enough to refund me for the back to Cairo tickets because we wanted to stay extra night in Aswan.

Everything was very well organized: the places visited, the cruise and the guides. Visiting Egypt in summer is very hot, but the landscapes are worth it.

The boat is not 5 star but rather 3 star and a bit dated. It was ok but not great, I’m glad it was only the boys traveling, it would have been really disappointing if I was traveling with a lady. The sites visited was good. The local guide had lots of valuable information to share but needs some training on how to engage with the group. The trip was not bad but not wow either, just ok. I think we could have got more value for our money elsewhere.

The staff is great, very helpful and friendly Tours are great Housekeeping is average at best The ship is old and it shows, comparison to other Nile cruises is definitely unfavorable. Entertainment is minimum and lower quality Food is average. Dining room staff is great. Very poor TV equipments and reception. No Wi-Fi
