The food was terrific, the staff were friendly and every so helpful. They fixed my phone, my camera, and made the most fabulous creatures out of the towels in my room. I loved that. Nothing was too much trouble and the moment you rang because the TV didn't work or anything, it was fixed immediately. I could spend a lot of time on that boat.

The comfort and the facilities on board the ship added to our memorable trip to Egypt 🇺 biz were blessed with a brilliant tour guide "Motaz Fahmy", professional arrangement by the travel agency "Imperial Egypt", and incredible cruise staff that made our experience exceptional ❤ The cruise from the smallest to Aswan on Mayflower Very nice trip on the Nile with the signature boat and with the outstanding management and crew , thank the guide for my understanding of his interest and his wonderful explanation of each landmark and tourist spot , his way of explaining was very confusing and corrected with his choice in your trip , thank you Mr. Hani from imperial Egypt for arranging this trip from the beginning as I spoke with Watson and agreed with him on all things and upon arrival everything was ready and complete in all aspects . The buffet was beautiful and varied from breakfast, lunch and dinner, the room was tidy and new and with a balcony, the staff at the restaurant were great and more specifically brother Mohamed the young Izman, thank the room manager (Matisse) he was always attentive to the room and the room decor as he was surprising us daily with beautiful decor on the bed. The sights at the smallest and Aswan were thoughtful of their beauty. Say hello to everyone with this beautiful and enjoyable experience.

My wife and I came to Egypt for our honeymoon, and part of our trip was a five day four night cruise from Luxor to Aswan on the Blue Shadow. Our cruise was breathtaking and the guided tour at each step was the best we have ever had. Hady, our tour guide, was with us for all five days and treated us just like family. He has an extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and culture, which far exceeded all expectations. He is fluent in English and German with a terrific sense of humor. More importantly, Hady is a genuinely good man. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. He was very flexible with our itinerary and moved things around based on our preferences. Knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and punctual, we could not be more happy with our experience. We would rate the experience above five stars if possible. Ps. He also knows where to find the best falafel!

The trip was well organized by Imperial Egypt from start to finish, from airport pickup to airport drop-off everything fit. My guide Mahmound explained the temples etc. well, not too much and not too little. He answered questions I had understandably. All in all, the trip was worth it and I can recommend the organizer.

My family and I (wife & I, 2 sons) just completed the 5-day 4-Night from Luxor to Aswan with Imperial Egypt tour company. Truly a 5-star experience on the M/S Blue Shadow; excellent staff, well maintained vessel, excellent facilities and sun deck. Cabins were clean and classy, food was very good and no one experienced any problems throughout the trip, though we did not eat salads or raw vegetables. The tour company operator Hani contacted us as soon as I booked the cruise through Trip Advisor, to arrange the boat cabins on the Blue Shadow vessel and our pick up on arrival in Luxor airport, which went extremely smooth. On this trip we all traveled back in time to ancient Egypt where our tour Guide, Hady, literally brought history to life with his knowledge and details. Hady is an Egyptologist who works on the archeological sites when he is not guiding tours. He is extremely passionate about his work and thus is able to paint living pictures of Pharaohs & Queens, as well as the ancient common people themselves and their daily lives. Egyptian history is extremely rich and Egypt has continuously striven to preserve the temples, tombs and sites, and archaeologists & Egyptologists are continuously discovering new sites. Hady speaks excellent English and has been running tours for 20 years. He knows how to tailor the tour to the client and maintained an excellent schedule for us throughout the tour. He also gave us a very good idea about life in Egypt today, and coached us on the art of tipping, very important. One of the best things I did was to bring two bundles of single US dollars to use for tipping. For our daily private tours, Hady arranged every detail of schedule, support and transport during our days. This Nile Cruise is best done from October to March, as the weather in summer is usually hot (daily 100+ degrees F) and humid. The Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan is a great value with Imperial Egypt: well maintained boats, excellent staff, and a well organized tour. Not to be missed if you are touring Egypt and the Middle East.

We had a wonderful trip down the river Nile with our Tour Guide Hady. He was very knowledgable during our day trips and went into great detail about the ancient history of the Egyptians by the end of the trip I felt as if I had lived through the history itself. He was on time picking us up from the airport and every morning he also gave us plenty of time to take pictures and explore the ancient sites. He spoke English extremely well with a fantastic personality. When I return with my own family someday I will 100% make sure I get Hady as our Tour Guide because the experience would not be the same without him. From Karnak temple to the High Dam and the Nubian Village he could pinpoint very specific information and themes used by Ancient Egyptians to further enlighten you.He ensured that everything was clean and sanitary during the trip.He took us to local markets to try the local Egyptian foods and helped us find beautiful souvenirs for the trip home. 10/10 will return to Egypt and 10/10 will recommend Hady. I hope whomever reads this deciding on a trip to Egypt will go on the Blue Shadow II for its fantastic food and service. The cabins were extremely well kept and clean and it was very comfortable. Hani the Guide operator was fantastic with the bookings and always available via phone if necessary And ensured we had a fantastic trip. I would definitely recommend the visit.

We left in July for a cruise from Luxor to Aswan with Travel Escape, passing through Leclerc voyage. Boat the azure Nile with a small pool. We had 11 tours included in the trip and we added 3 more per person (the Valley of Kings, visit the Nubian village and a day in Cairo to see the pyramids ). The excursions are very beautiful and very early in the morning (6am see even earlier ) to avoid the big heat. Our Naglaa guide made these tours interesting without burdening us with details, and allowed us time to make the tours from our side and take pictures. The staff on the boat are taking care of us. Cleaning is done every day, meals are good and varied, the scenery is beautiful. We spent a wonderful week, but plan a few days of rest on the return as it is a tiring holiday. Provide change for tips outside the boat and for water bottles It is a poor country in the countryside, one is surprised to see such thin animals and so much polution. GOOD it must be said the vistites its made to buy (perfume pottery and papyri and souvenirs)

We went from Luxor to Aswan on the MV Tulip. The cruise and staff were very friendly and helpful except for the masseur who is inexperience ,not very good and expensive for what he does.If I pay for 60 minutes I expect to have a 60 minute massage not a 50 minute massage. Unfortunately the food on the ship was not 5 star but about 3.5 star. This is the only problem. The room cleaners had good fun with towels, which we really enjoyed. We had an excellent tour guide from Wings, he took us to places we wanted to go which is not always the tourist spots. We would happily do it again - this is best complement I can give

If you are considering a visit to Egypt, you should definitely request Hossam Roshwan via Imperial Egypt as your tour guide. He was an incredibly professional Egyptologist with the patience of a saint. We were traveling with young kids and he was kind and helpful. He made sure that we had time to see all the sights, and he made excellent recommendations for sights that were not on our itinerary. We had a great time getting to know Egypt with him as our navigator. Further, our kids really loved it because he made it enjoyable for them as well. We are leaving Egypt with more than just memories of a lifetime...we now have a friend. Thank you, Hossam, for everything!

When we first decided to visit Egypt, we were worried that we would not be able to navigate the city and archeological sites effectively. However, Hossam Roshwan, our tour guide, made everything seamless. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and understanding. He was a wealth of knowledge and came prepared each day with detailed information on each site, tomb, village, and temple that we visited. Midway through the trip, we decided to go on an unplanned hot air balloon ride. We did not expect to be able to go as it was the night before New Year’s eve and our ship was scheduled to depart for Aswan at noon the next day. However, in a matter of hours, he found four spots for my family, arranged a driver to transport us from the ship, scheduled a box breakfast pick up from the hotel to take with us, and called the front desk to schedule a 4:30 am wake-up call to our room. The end result...a last minute experience that felt like it had been planned months in advance. This is just one example of many experiences during our time with Hossam. We are so very thankful to have had the opportunity to have him as our guide. Based on how well everyone received him, it was obvious that he is well known in Egypt as his reputation for excellence always proceeded him. It is likely also the reason why we were always warmly welcomed at each place that we visited. Thank you, Hossam, for making our trip one that we will never forget! We are already planning our return to Egypt.
