The tour is operated by local guides who are exceptionally knowledgeable in the history of the city. We booked a private tour which included a driver and tour guide which also included tickets to every site. Best decision we made because we skipped the long queues.

We were two ladies and booked the car with driver only package. We got Ali Omar as our driver. He picked us up on time. He took us to Valley of the Kings first, gave us about 2 hours to explore, then took us to Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and gave us about an hour, we did a photo stop at Colossi Di Memnon. He asked if we wanted to go see the local stores that made asbestos items but we skipped it. Then we went over to the Karnak Temple and spent an hour there. It was really hot and all the walking was tiring. If you aren't tired you'd spend more time at Karnak Temple. We live a 5 min walk from Luxor Temple so we decided to get dropped back to the hotel and went during sunset to Luxor Temple. He was a great driver, very knowledgable, made us feel safe and did an amazing job. I would recommend you to consider them. They were also the cheapest and really offered everything we wanted so its a bang for the buck.

I had a great tour with Alejandro. It was super smooth, good pace, we learned a lot and were very comfortable at all times. We could see everything we wanted and had plenty of time for photos. Lunch was good. Guide skipped the usual shops other tours take you to. What I'd improve: - Water bottles were given a bit late - Guide was very keen on extraterrestrial explanations for many things. I thought it was a disservice to the ancient egyptian workers and designers.

My husband, my 6 year old daughter and I visited Luxor on the 29th of January, 2025. We booked our tour thorough Get Your Guide website and via EMO Tours. First of all, if you are planning a trip to Egypt, you can't skip Luxor. For us, group tours are a bit difficult as our 6 year old daughter gets tired or gets bored of things pretty quickly. But with Ms Sawsan's guidance the full day trip was a breeze. We booked a private tour and the tour included Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Our guide and the driver were there right on time at 9 in the morning. Our car was very comfortable and our driver was professional. Our guide Ms Sawsan spoke perfect English and she was not only knowledgeable but also fun to be with. She answered all our questions patiently and she was there for us all day. I needed to get some medicine from the pharmacy, she even helped us find one and talked to the pharmacist on my behalf. You can also tailor your trip based on your needs. You might wanna go to more places by adding more sights or you can skip going to some places if you feel tired like we did. They are ready to accommodate your needs. Finally I have to mention the lunch. I believe they take most tour groups to this restaurant but the food was amazingly mouthwatering. There are options like fish, beef and meatballs and a vegetarian dish along with rice and drinks. We stayed in Egypt for about 10 days and I could easily say that this food was by far the best ever!

The booking itself was easy. However the company was not responding, lack of communication and understanding my needs. I would not recommend the company. They need to train and select staff better and communicate efficiently. I requested my money back and they never responded

We had a great day with our guide Mustafa! He is extremely knowledgeable and shared so much information about the sites. Lunch was delicious, and our driver was great too. This is definitely worth the money.

Comenzamos el día visitando el templo de Luxor, después Karnak, el Valle de los Reyes, el templo de Hatshepshut, fuimos a comer a un restaurante típico egipcio con buffet libre delicioso y después fuimos a los colosos de memnon. El tour fue maravilloso, el guia hablaba perfecto español, sus explicaciones fueron muy completas, respondiendo a todas nuestras preguntas y el tiempo en cada lugar fue adecuado, dejándonos también tiempo libre en cada monumento. Una buena experiencia. El conductor también fue muy amable y atento.

Very good service, our guide Abdrabo, guide in English, is an outstanding driver and explained to us a lot about temples, kings, buildings, tombs, ... We felt safe throughout the excursion and leave full of memories and knowledge about ancient Egypt. All along the way he explains the constructions, the discoveries by the different archaeologists of all origins, but also involves us by asking us questions about what we see before telling us directly why such people live in such places, ... In riddle mode, the trip is more fun! He did not hesitate to take a detour if asked, and to offer us to have a bite to eat, a drink, ... Pick up and drop off in our guest house, comfortable car with air conditioning (but in this season it was not too hot). I recommend 100%!
