Excellent trip. Guide was really good, food was brilliant, the views were incredible everyone was polite and knowledgeable ….apart from the Australian girls we had with us acting like spoilt brats… If I’m ever back in hurghada I would do this again, Thankyou very much!

Great trip and decent value. Good meal, general interest in the area and the stars of course. The 4x4s are basic so don’t expect luxury but this adds to the fun.

Fantastic adventure on our last night in Hurghada. The jeep across the desert was amazing. The bread making and camel ride was brilliant the beautiful sunset, delicious candle lit dinner and stargazing were all magical and informative. Thank you for a brilliant evening.

Although a camel ride was promised, there was neither a camel to see nor could be ridden on one. The first guide talked his way out saying that the camel guide was too late and the second one later claimed that the camel was unfortunately sick. The guides probably didn’t get along as one of them whined to us that it felt unfairly treated. The tour with the jeep through the desert was an experience but one of the passengers grabbed his head on the roof of the car injured which the driving style was a bit too fast. The telescope was not exactly high quality so hardly anything could be seen. At the end of the evening there were still photos of the evening sent to the smartphone by the organizer, which were all fake. For example, the moon was not visible at all that evening but we received the pictures also deposited in TripAdvisor. The organizer did not respond to a complaint at all but fortunately there is the customer service of TripAdvisor.

Reinste Massenabfertigung und Geldmacherei. Anstatt der versprochenen 15 Personen Gruppe waren wir mit knapp 50 Personen in der Wüste, darum hat auch nicht jeder etwas vom Tee bekommen. Beim Astrologiekurs wurden wir regelrecht angeschrien, damit auch die hinterste Reihe noch etwas hört. Er hatte es auch sehr eilig. Das Essen war lecker und auch für vegetarier wurde genug aufgetischt. Künstlich aufgebautes Beduinen-Camp in dem niemand wohnte. Der Fahrer war sehr gut für Adrenlin-fans wie uns. Nichts für schwache Mägen.

We had a superb trip stargazing and also really getting a feel for bedouin life. Our guide had so much knowledge and you can tell he is passionate about it. You go up into the mountains for the sunset, be aware you need to be reasonably fit and able to make it up to the spot to watch the sun setting. The food is amazing, just a buffet but plenty off it, eaten sitting on carpets in a half built bedouin house lol. Candlelight is a candle stuck in some sand in a half cut water bottle.... perfect lol. Stargazing is done via a laser pointer which is novel and very effective. We left at 3.30 got back at 9.30
